Description
本発明は、請求項1の上位概念部に記載の形式の燃料噴射システムから出発する。
請求項1の特徴部に記載の特徴を有する本発明による燃料噴射システムには、従来のものに比べて次のような利点がある。すなわち、本発明によれば、回転対称的ではない燃焼室ルーフを備えた燃焼室内での燃料の分配が従来よりも均一に行われ得るようになる。
以下に、本発明の実施例を図面につき詳しく説明する。
図2は、本発明により使用される燃料噴射弁の、燃焼室ルーフにおける配置例を示す図であり、
図3は、本発明により使用される燃料噴射弁の第1実施例により形成されたスプレークラウドを、図2のIII−III線に沿った第1の平面の断面図で示す概略図であり、
図4は、本発明により使用される燃料噴射弁の第1実施例により形成されたスプレークラウドを、図2のIV−IV線に沿った第2の平面の断面図で示す概略図であり、
図5は、本発明により使用される燃料噴射弁の第1実施例の弁座体を、図2のIII−III線に沿った第1の平面の断面図で示す概略図であり、
図6は、本発明により使用される燃料噴射弁の第1実施例の弁座体を、図2のIV−IV線に沿った第2の平面の断面図で示す概略図であり、
図7は、本発明により使用される燃料噴射弁の第2実施例により形成されたスプレークラウドを、図2のIV−IV線に沿った第2の平面の断面図で示す概略図である。
以下に、本発明の実施例を例示的に説明する。図面中、同一の構成部分は同じ符号で示されている。
Claims (10)
- ピストン(40)に向かい合って配置されている燃焼室ルーフ(39)を通じて燃焼室(38)内へ燃料を直接噴射するための燃料噴射システムであって、多数の噴射開口(7)を備えた燃料噴射弁(1)が設けられており、しかも各1つの噴射開口(7)によってそれぞれ1つの燃料噴流(41)が形成されるようになっており、多数の燃料噴流(41)によって燃焼室(38)内にスプレークラウド(42)が形成されるようになっており、該スプレークラウド(42)が、該スプレークラウド(42)の輪郭を画定するマント状の燃料噴霧を有している形式のものにおいて、スプレークラウド(42)のマント状の燃料噴霧が環状に延びており、該燃料噴霧が、スプレークラウド(42)の全周にわたって可変である開放角度(a1,a2)を成しており、第1の平面(el)における燃料噴霧の第1の開放角度(a1)が、第1の平面(e1)に対して直角に延びる第2の平面(e2)における第2の開放角度(a2)よりも大きく形成されており、このために、燃焼室ルーフ(39)とスプレークラウド(42)のマント状の燃料噴霧との間に、スプレークラウド(42)の全周にわたって不変の間隔角度(Aw)が生ぜしめられるようにスプレークラウド(42)が成形されるように噴射開口(7)が位置調整されかつ燃焼室ルーフ(39)が形成されていることを特徴とする燃料噴射システム。
- 燃料噴射弁(1)が、第2の平面(e2)の横断面で見て燃料噴射弁(1)から円錐状に拡開した燃焼室ルーフ(39)を通じて燃料を噴射するようになっており、ただし該燃焼室ルーフ(39)は第1の平面(el)の横断面で見ると、より大きな円錐頂角で拡開している、請求項1記載の燃料噴射システム。
- スプレークラウド(42)の送出された燃料がピストン(40)のピストンキャビティ(43)の方向へ噴射されるように燃料噴射弁(1)の噴射開口(7)が位置調整されている、請求項1または2記載の燃料噴射システム。
- ピストンキャビティ(43)が少なくとも1つの隆起部(44)を有している、請求項3記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 前記隆起部(44)がピストンキャビティ(43)の真ん中に配置されている、請求項4記載の燃料噴射システム。
- ピストンキャビティ(43)内へ噴射された燃料噴流(41)が、該燃料噴流(41)の噴流軸線(45)に沿った延長線で見てピストンキャビティ(43)の表面に対してそれぞれ等しい間隔を有している、請求項3から5までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射システム。
- スプレークラウド(42)の中央部に配置された内側の燃料噴流(41)が、外側の燃料噴流(41)ほど深くには燃焼室(38)内へ侵入しないようになっており、内側の燃料噴流(41)の噴射開口(7)の直径が、外側の燃料噴流(41)の噴射開口(7)の直径よりも小さく形成されており、かつ/または内側の燃料噴流(41)の噴射開口(7)が、噴射側の範囲で拡張している、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 燃料噴射弁(1)が燃焼室ルーフ(39)の中央部で中心に配置されている、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 燃料噴射弁(1)が20〜40個の噴射開口(7)を有している、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射システム。
- 噴射開口(7)が、横断面で見て互いに対して15〜25゜、特に20゜の拡開角度(Sw)を有している、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射システム。
