Description
ペロブスカイト型構造及びフルオライト型構造からなる群より選ばれる第一の結晶構造を有する第一の多成分金属酸化物を含む第一の焼結体を用意すること、
第一の結晶構造と同一の第二の結晶構造を有する第二の多成分金属酸化物を含む第二の焼結体を用意すること、
第一の焼結体と第二の焼結体との界面に少なくとも1種の金属酸化物を含む接合材料を提供し、ここで、当該少なくとも1種の金属酸化物は、
(a)(i)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物のうちの一方における少なくとも1種の燒結体金属と同一のIUPAC周期表の族の、少なくとも1種の金属、及び/又は(ii)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれない第1列のD−ブロック遷移金属、及び/又は(iii)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれないランタニドを含み、
(b)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれる金属を含まず、
(c)ホウ素、ケイ素、ゲルマニウム、スズ、鉛、ヒ素、アンチモン、リン及びテルルを含まず、且つ
(d)第一の焼結体の第一の焼結温度及び第二の焼結体の第二の焼結温度より低い融点を有し、そして

(1)(a)第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物のうちの一方に含まれる1又は2種以上の金属と同じIUPAC周期表の族の、少なくとも1種の金属、及び/又は
(b)第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれない第1列のD−ブロック遷移金属、及び/又は
(c)第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれないランタニド
を含む少なくとも1種の金属酸化物を含み、
(2)第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれる金属を含まず、
(3)ホウ素、ケイ素、ゲルマニウム、スズ、鉛、ヒ素、アンチモン、リン及びテルル元素のカチオンを含まず、
(4)両方の焼結体の焼結温度より低い融点を有し、且つ、
(5)加熱及び反応後に、第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物と同じ型の結晶構造を有する第三の多成分金属酸化物を随意に生成する。

により表され、この式中、(xa+xb)=1、0≦ya≦1.05、0≦yc≦1.0、0.95≦(ya+yc)≦1.05である。この場合、接合材料の少なくとも1種の金属酸化物は、酸化銅、酸化バリウム、酸化ランタン、酸化コバルト、酸化カルシウム、そしてそれらの混合物及び混合酸化物からなる群より選ばれるのが好ましく、酸化銅及び酸化カルシウム並びにそれらの混合物及び混合酸化物、例えばCa2CuO3といったもの、が特に好ましい。
ここでは、La0.4Sr0.6CoO3-δのディスク及びチューブの接合を説明する。
表1に示した接合材料のバッチを、次のように調製した。100gの2−プロパノールと250gの球状Y−TZP媒体を入れた250mlのポリエチレンジャーでもって、原料を1時間ペイント振盪処理した。スラリーを乾燥させ、次いで30分間ドライミル処理してから20メッシュでふるい分けした。粉末を100℃/hで900℃に加熱し10時間保持することによりか焼してから、100℃/hで室温に冷却した。か焼した粉末をアルミナの乳棒を使って40メッシュでふるい分けしてから、分散剤として0.5gのポリビニルブチラール(PVB)を38.0gのトルエン及び9.5gのエタノールに加えてスリップを作った。100gのか焼した粉末を250gのY−TZPと一緒に250mlのポリエチレンジャーに入れた。スリップをペイント振盪機で1時間処理した。結合剤(7.25gのPVB)と流動化剤(3.88gのブチルベンジルフタレート(BBP))を加えてスリップをおよそ60vol%固形分にした。90分間のペイント振動機での処理により結合剤を溶解させた。スリップを脱気し、シリコーン被覆したポリエステル上に0.13mmのドクターブレード高さで流延して、厚さ40〜50μmの乾燥テープを得た。
ここではインクの調製を説明する。
組成の完全な範囲を説明するため、表2に示した組成から、すなわち純粋なCuO及び酸化銅と酸化カルシウムの混合物について、8種類のインクを調製した。図2は空気中におけるCuとCaについての状態図であり、組成の全てが1026℃より高い温度でいくらかの溶融相を持つことを示している。例5、すなわち共融組成は、一番低い温度で液を形成し、そして例10は、全ての温度において液相が一番少量である。
ここでは部品の接合を説明する。
研削したLa0.4Sr0.6CoO3-δ(LSCo)のチューブを研削したLSCoのディスクに、例3〜10からのインク3〜10を小分けしてチューブへ適用し、次いでチューブをディスクの上に載せ、ひねってインクを追い出し、チューブとディスクとが接触するように、接合した。インクを流動する温風を使って乾燥させた。
ここでは、接合材料の量について説明する。
例3〜10で調製したインクを使って、例11〜15で示した手順によるが、印刷用に様々なスクリーンを使用して界面に様々な量のインクを付着させて、チューブとディスクを接合した。これらのチューブ/ディスクアセンブリを、次に示す加熱/冷却プロファイルを使用して炉内温度に1時間加熱することによりおよそ10kPaの圧力で接合した。その温度プロファイルというのは、室温〜1250℃が50℃/h(1250℃で1時間保持)、1250〜700℃が50℃/h、700〜600℃が25℃/h、600〜500℃が10℃/h、500〜400℃が5℃/h、400〜20℃が50℃/hというものであった。
ここでは、他の接合材料の有効性を説明する。
4つの異なるテープを使って、焼結したLSCoチューブ(6.35g/cm3)と研削したリムをディスクに接合した。テープは、CuO−15モル%CaO(例2)、Ca1.01FeO2.5、Fe2O3−26wt%CaO、及びFe2O3−23wt%CaOであった。4つの全ての組成物が1250℃の前に過渡的な液相を形成した。テープは全て厚さがおよそ50μmであった。加熱速度は接合温度まで50℃/hであった。アセンブリの全部を一緒に接合した。表6はアセンブリのうちのどれが気密性であったかを示している。
Claims (24)
- 少なくとも二つの焼結体を接合して複合構造体を作製する方法であって、
ペロブスカイト型構造及びフルオライト型構造からなる群より選ばれる第一の結晶構造を有する第一の多成分金属酸化物を含む第一の焼結体を用意すること、
第一の結晶構造と同一の第二の結晶構造を有する第二の多成分金属酸化物を含む第二の焼結体を用意すること、
第一の焼結体と第二の焼結体との界面に少なくとも1種の金属酸化物を含む接合材料を提供し、ここで、当該少なくとも1種の金属酸化物は、
(a)(i)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物のうちの一方における少なくとも1種の燒結体金属と同一のIUPAC周期表の族の、少なくとも1種の金属、及び/又は(ii)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれない第1列のD−ブロック遷移金属、及び/又は(iii)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれないランタニドを含み、
(b)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれる金属を含まず、
(c)ホウ素、ケイ素、ゲルマニウム、スズ、鉛、ヒ素、アンチモン、リン及びテルルのカチオンを含まず、且つ
(d)第一の焼結体の第一の焼結温度及び第二の焼結体の第二の焼結温度より低い融点を有し、そして
当該焼結体と当該接合材料を、上記融点より高く上記第一及び第二の焼結温度より低い接合温度に、第一の焼結体と第二の焼結体との間に接合部を形成しそれにより複合構造体を提供するのに十分な時間加熱すること、
を含む焼結体の接合方法。 - 加熱すると前記少なくとも1種の金属酸化物が液相と少なくとも1つの固相をもたらす、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記液相と前記少なくとも1つの固相が反応して前記接合部を形成する、請求項2記載の方法。
- 第一の多成分金属酸化物が第二の多成分金属酸化物にも含まれる2種類の金属を含有している、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記接合材料が、(a)第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物の一方に含まれないIUPAC周期表の2族の金属、及び/又は(b)第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれない第1列のD−ブロック遷移金属、を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 第一及び第二の結晶構造が、フルオライト型構造を有するフルオライト、ペロブスカイト型構造を有するブラウンミレライト、ペロブスカイト型構造を有するアウリビリウス相、及びペロブスカイト型構造を有するペロブスカイトからなる群より選ばれる1つからなる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記接合部が、チューブとチューブとの接合部、平板とチューブとの接合部、及び平板と平板との接合部からなる群より選ばれる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物が同じものあるいは異なるものであり、そして独立に下式
AxaA’xbA”xcByaB’ybB”ycO3-δ
(式中のAはF−ブロックのランタニド、La又はそれらの混合物であり、A’は2族の金属であり、A”はIUPAC周期表の1、2、3族、及びF−ブロックのランタニドから選ばれ、B、B’及びB”は互いに異なるものであって、D−ブロックの遷移金属から独立に選ばれ、δは当該組成の物質の電荷を中性にする数であり、0≦xa≦1、0≦xb≦1、0≦xc≦1、0≦ya≦1.1、0≦yb≦1、0≦yc≦1.1であって、但し(xa+xb+xc)=1、且つ0.9≦(ya+yb+yc)≦1.1である)
で表される、請求項1記載の方法。 - 第一の多成分金属酸化物が第二の多成分金属酸化物にも含まれる2種の金属を含み、且つ、添字のxa、xb、xc、ya、yb、ycが次の条件、すなわち、(xa1−xa2):xa1≦0.1、(xb1−xb2):xb1≦0.1、(xc1−xc2):xc1≦0.1、(ya1−ya2):ya1≦0.1、(yb1−yb2):yb1≦0.1、(yc1−yc2):yc1≦0.1、という条件を満たし、ここで各下付数字の1は第一の多成分金属酸化物を指示し、各下付数字の2は第二の多成分金属酸化物を指示する、請求項8記載の方法。
- 前記接合材料が、酸化マグネシウム、酸化カルシウム、酸化バリウム、酸化ストロンチウム、酸化銅、並びにそれらの混合酸化物及び混合物からなる群より選ばれる物質を含む、請求項8記載の方法。
- 第一及び第二の多成分金属酸化物が、独立に次の一般式
LaxaSrxbCoyaFeycO3-δ
(この式中、(xa+xb)=1、0<ya<1.05、0≦yc≦1.0、0.95≦(ya+yc)≦1.05である)
により表され、前記少なくとも1種の金属酸化物が、酸化銅、酸化バリウム、酸化カルシウム、並びにそれらの混合酸化物及び混合物からなる群より選ばれる、請求項9記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも1種の金属酸化物が酸化カルシウムと酸化銅の混合物又は混合酸化物である、請求項11記載の方法。
- 圧力をかけることなく実施される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記加熱を空気中で行う、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記複合構造体が界面相を含まない、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記接合材料が少なくとも1種の有機結合剤を更に含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記接合材料が前記加熱の前に、第一の焼結体と第二の焼結体との界面の形状に従うのに十分な柔軟性を有する、請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記接合部に0.001〜1MPaの圧力を適用する、請求項1記載の方法。
- ペロブスカイト型構造とフルオライト型構造からなる群より選ばれる第一の結晶構造を有する第一の多成分金属酸化物を含む第一の焼結体、
第一の結晶構造と同じ第二の結晶構造を有する第二の多成分金属酸化物を含む第二の焼結体、及び
第一の焼結体と第二の焼結体との接合部であって、少なくとも1種の金属酸化物を含む接合部、
を含み、当該接合部における当該少なくとも1種の金属酸化物が、
(a)(i)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物のうちの一方における少なくとも1種の燒結体金属と同一のIUPAC周期表の族の、少なくとも1種の金属、及び/又は(ii)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれない第1列のD−ブロック遷移金属、及び/又は(iii)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれないランタニドを含み、
(b)第一の多成分金属酸化物及び第二の多成分金属酸化物に含まれる金属を含まず、
(c)ホウ素、炭素、ケイ素、ゲルマニウム、スズ、鉛、ヒ素、アンチモン、リン及びテルルのカチオンを含まず、且つ
(d)第一の焼結体の第一の焼結温度及び第二の焼結体の第二の焼結温度より低い融点を有する、
請求項1から18までのいずれか一つに記載の方法により作製された複合構造体。 - 第一及び第二の結晶構造が、フルオライト型構造を有するフルオライト、ペロブスカイト型構造を有するブラウンミレライト、ペロブスカイト型構造を有するアウリビリウス相、及びペロブスカイト型構造を有するペロブスカイトからなる群より選ばれる1つからなる、請求項19記載の複合構造体。
- 第一及び第二の焼結体がチューブ及び/又は平板であり、そして前記接合部がチューブとチューブとの接合部、平板とチューブとの接合部、又は平板と平板との接合部である、請求項19記載の複合構造体。
- 酸素を含む気体混合物から酸素を分離するための装置とされている、請求項19記載の複合構造体。
- 前記装置が酸素を反応させるためのものでもある、請求項19記載の複合構造体。
- 当該複合構造体に界面相がない、請求項19記載の複合構造体。
