Description
好ましい金属部材には、これらに限定はされないが、2002年9月27日に出願された「高温電気化学デバイスに適用される気密性の金属/セラミックまたは金属/金属シールおよびその作製方法(GAS-TIGHT METAL/CERAMIC OR METAL/METAL SEALS FOR APPLICATIONS IN HIGH TEMPERATURE ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICES AND METHOD OF MAKING))という名称の米国特許出願第10/260,630号(この特許の全内容はこの参照により本明細書に組み込まれる)に記載されるもののような、加熱により表面にアルミナを生成する高温用ステンレス鋼および高温用超合金からなる群から選択したアルミナ生成金属部材である。好ましい高温用ステンレス鋼には、これらに限定はされないが、デュラフォイル(アルファ−4)(Durafoil(米国における登録商標) (alpha-4))、フェクロアロイ(Fecralloy(米国における登録商標))、アルミナ被覆(Alumina-coated)430ステンレス鋼およびクロフェル−22エイピイユー(Crofer(米国における登録商標)-22APU)が含まれる。好ましい高温用超合金には、これらに限定されないが、ヘインズ 214(Haynes(米国および日本における登録商標) 214)、ニクロフェル 6025(Nicrofer(米国および日本における登録商標) 6025)およびデュクロアロイ(Ducraloy(米国における登録商標))が含まれる。
Claims (10)
- a)高温用ステンレス鋼および高温用超合金からなる群から選択したアルミナ生成金属部材を用意する工程、
b)前記アルミナ生成金属部材を十分な温度および時間で加熱することによりアルミナ化表面を生成させる工程、
c)セラミック部材を用意する工程、
d)前記アルミナ生成金属部材と前記セラミック部材の間に、Ag−CuO、Ag−V2O5、およびPt−Nb2O5からなる群から選択したろう付け材料を用意する工程、および
e)前記アルミナ生成金属部材、ろう付け材料およびセラミック部材を酸化雰囲気で加熱する工程
を含む、金属・セラミック間シールの作製方法。 - 前記高温用ステンレス鋼が、デュラフォイル(アルファ−4)(Durafoil(米国における登録商標) (alpha-4))、フェクロアロイ(Fecralloy(米国における登録商標))、アルミナ被覆(Alumina-coated)430ステンレス鋼およびクロフェル−22エイピイユー(Crofer(米国における登録商標)-22APU)からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記高温用超合金が、ヘインズ 214(Haynes(米国および日本における登録商標) 214)、ニクロフェル 6025(Nicrofer(米国および日本における登録商標) 6025)およびデュクロアロイ(Ducraloy(米国における登録商標))からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ろう付け材料が、Pd、Pt、およびこれらの組合せからなる群から選択されるろう付け温度上昇剤をさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ろう付け温度上昇剤が前記ろう付け材料の10〜70モル%の間として選択される請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記ろう付け材料が、V2O5、MoO3、およびこれらの組合せからなる群から選択されるろう付け温度降下剤をさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ろう付け温度降下剤が前記ろう付け材料の1〜6モル%の間として選択される請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ろう付け材料が、CuO中に30.65から100モル%の間のAgを含むものである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記アルミナ生成金属部材、ろう付け材料およびセラミック部材を酸化雰囲気で加熱する前記工程が、空気中、500℃と1300℃の間の温度で実施される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法により形成された前記の金属・セラミック間シール。
