Description

本発明は電気コネクタに関し、特に、パーソナルコンピューターに用いてカードを収容するための電気コネクタに関するものである。
一種の電子カードは、絶縁本体と、該絶縁本体に収容される導電端子と、絶縁本体に取り付けられるハウジングと、を備える。該絶縁本体は、本体部と、カードを接続する実装部と、該実装部から縦長方向に沿って延設される一対の導入アームとを含む。該一対の導入アームの間に、カードを収容するスペースが形成されるとともに、該一対の導入アームには、前記スペースを向いて開設する導入槽が形成される。ハウジングには、絶縁本体のスペースを囲んで、絶縁本体の導入アームの外側を覆う側部が設置される。特許文献１にもこの種のカードコネクタが記載されている。ところが、該カードコネクタには導入アームが設置されているため、該カードコネクタの製造費用が高くなるとともに、製造が複雑になる。
米国特許文献第６，１２０，３２２号
本発明は、ＰＣカードが平滑に挿入され、且つ製造費用が低く、製造が簡単になるカードコネクタを提供する。
本発明のカードコネクタは、複数の側壁と、本体部と、前記複数の側壁と本体部が形成したスペースと、該側壁のフランジに設置される複数の第１突部と、該本体部にスペースへ向きに設置される複数の第２突部と、該第１突部と第２突部からなる第１導入槽、第２導入槽と、を含むハウジングと、該ハウジングに取り付けられる絶縁本体と、該絶縁本体に取り付けられる導電端子と、を備え、前記複数の第２突部は、突出するように二つの縦列に配列され、隣接する第２突部の間に隙間を空け、前記ハウジングの本体部に、弾性を有する弾性アームが前記スペースへ向きに設置される。
従来の技術に比べると、本発明は以下の長所がある。本発明のカードコネクタは、スペースに位置する第１突部と第２突部からなる導入槽によって、ＰＣカードがカードコネクタに平滑に挿入される。そして、該カードコネクタの製造費用が低くなり、製造が簡単になる。
図１〜図３を参照すると、本発明のカードコネクタ１００は、絶縁本体１と、導電端子２と、ハウジング３と、を備える。図２に示されるように、該絶縁本体１は、底部１２と、該底部１２から上向きに伸びる一対の側壁１１と、該一対の側壁１１に連接する前壁１３と、底部１２から下向きに突伸し、外部の設備に接続される定位脚１４と、を含む。該側壁１１には、凹槽１１１と、該凹槽１１１に嵌め込まれる係合片１１２とが設置される。該係合片１１２には上向きに突出する耳片１１２１が設けられる。前記前壁１３の中央には前へ突出する係合塊１３１が設置される。
図２を参照すると、複数の導電端子２は行列で配列される。それは、保持部２２と、該保持部２２の一端から下向きに折り曲がる半田部２１と、該保持部２２の他の一端から上向きに折り曲がる接触部２３とを含む。
図３を参照すると、ハウジング３は、本体部３０と、該本体部３０から下向きに伸びる、第１側壁３１と、第１側壁３１と垂直に設置される第２側壁３２と、該第２側壁３２と相隣して連接しなくて、第１フランジ３３１を含む第３側壁３３と、第３側壁３３に対向して、第２フランジ３４１を含む第４側壁３４と、第４側壁３４と相隣して連接しない第５側壁３５と、それらの側壁３１，３２，３３，３４，３５に囲まれるスペース３６と、を備える。その中で、第１側壁３１の中央には開槽３１１が開設される。第２側壁３２と第５側壁３５には、狭いスロット３２１、３５１が開設される。第３側壁３３と第４側壁３４は、第２側壁３２と第５側壁３５の内側に、お互いに平行に設置される。第３側壁３３の第１フランジ３３１と第４側壁３４の第２フランジ３４１には、本体部３０に向かって、お互いに連接する複数の第１突部３３１１，３４１１が両列をなすように設けられる。且つ、定位孔３３２１、３４２１を有し、定位や接地などのための定位部３３２、３４２が、第１フランジ３３１、第２フランジ３４１に位置する。スペース３６に、縦列に配列される第２突部３０１が、前記第１突部３３１１、３４１１に対向するように突出する。隣接する第２突部３０１の間に隙間を空け、一対の隣接する第２突部３０１の間に、弾性を有する弾性アーム３０２が設置される。そして、第３側壁３３の第１突部３３１１、第４側壁３４の第１突部３４１１とそれらに対応する第２突部３０１、弾性アーム３０２とから、第１導入槽３０３、第２導入槽３０４が形成される。
図１及び図２を参照すると、カードコネクタ１００を取り付ける時、まず、前記導電端子２を絶縁本体１に結合する。保持部２２が絶縁本体１の底部１２に位置し、半田部２１が絶縁本体１の前壁１３から伸出する。次に、導電端子２を有する絶縁本体１をハウジング３に組み合わせる時、絶縁本体１の係合片１１２は凹槽１１１に嵌め込まれ、係合片１１２の耳片１１２１がハウジング３のスロット３２１、３５１に係合する。且つ、絶縁本体１の係合塊１３１がハウジング３の開槽３１１に係合する。ハウジング３の定位部３３２、３４２と絶縁本体１の定位脚１４が外部の設備に接続される。
図３を参照すると、使用時には、カードが、ハウジング３の第１導入槽３０３、第２導入槽３０４によって、スペース３６に挿入され、絶縁本体１に連接し、導電端子２の接触部２３に接触し、導電端子２と電気接続を達成する。
総じて、本発明の多数の特徴及び長所など、その構造及び機能が共に前述の記載により掲げられている。また前記の説明は、本発明に基づきなしうる細部の修正或は変更など、いずれも本発明の請求範囲に属するものとする。
本発明はカードコネクタに関し、特に、ＰＣカードが平滑に挿入され、且つ製造費用が低く、製造が簡単になるカードコネクタに関するものである。

Claims (3)

  1. カードコネクタにおいて、
    複数の側壁と、本体部と、前記複数の側壁と本体部とが形成したスペースと、該側壁のフランジに設置される複数の第１突部と、該本体部に、前記スペースに突出するように設置される複数の第２突部と、を含むハウジングと、
    該ハウジングに取り付けられる絶縁本体と、
    該絶縁本体に取り付けられる導電端子と、
    を備え、
    前記複数の第２突部は、突出するように二つの縦列に配列され、隣接する第２突部の間に隙間を空け、
    前記ハウジングの本体部には、弾性を有する弾性アームが前記スペースへ延出するように設置され、
    前記ハウジングは、前記複数の第１突部と、それらに対応する前記複数の第２突部と、前記弾性アームと、から形成された第１導入槽および第２導入槽を備えていることを特徴とするカードコネクタ。
  2. 前記弾性アームが、前記両列での両対の隣接する第２突部の間に設置されることを特徴とする請求項１に記載のカードコネクタ。
  3. 前記複数の第１突部は、お互いに連接し、第２突部と対向するように突出することを特徴とする請求項２に記載のカードコネクタ。
