Claims (7)
- 複数の噴射チャンバに流体を供給するように構成され、前記個々の噴射チャンバが抵抗器を備え、前記個々の噴射チャンバから前記流体が噴射されるよう構成されている流体供給チャネルと、
流体内のコンタミナントが前記噴射チャンバに入らないように前記流体供給チャネル内に配置され、複数の第1の開口部と該第1の開口部より大きい開口面積を有する第2の開口部とを有しているフィルターと、
前記個々の噴射チャンバから前記流体を噴射するのに十分な第1の強度で前記個々の抵抗器が通電されるように構成されるとともに、該抵抗器を加熱するが前記個々の噴射チャンバから前記流体が噴射されることはない第2のより低い強度で前記抵抗器が通電されるように構成されており、前記第2のより低い強度レベルよって、前記フィルターと前記噴射チャンバとの間に位置する気泡を前記第2の開口部へ移動させるように設計された通電パターンで、前記個々の抵抗器を通電し、前記流体供給チャネル内の前記流体に温度差マランゴニ対流を生じさせるように構成されているプロセッサと
を備えている流体噴射システム。 - 前記流体供給チャネルはプリント装置内に画定され、前記プロセッサは、前記プリント装置の一部を構成している、請求項1に記載の流体噴射システム。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記気泡を分離して移動させるような通電パターンで前記個々の抵抗器を通電するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の流体噴射システム。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記流体供給チャネル内での前記流体の流れの方向と略反対の方向に前記気泡を移動させるような通電パターンで前記個々の抵抗器を通電するように構成されている、請求項3に記載の流体噴射システム。
- 微小電気機械システムデバイスの流体供給経路に対して、流体が前記微小電気機械システムデバイスの1つまたは複数の噴射チャンバに達する前にフィルターを通過するよう配置するステップであって、該フィルターを配置するステップは、基材を貫通して前記流体供給経路の一部を形成する前に、前記基材の上にパターニング可能な材料を形成することと、前記パターニング可能な材料に複数の第1の開口部と該第1の開口部より大きい開口面積を有する第2の開口部とをパターニングによって形成することとを含むようなステップと、
主として流体を加熱はするが気化はさせないよう選択された強度で、1つまたは複数の電気的構成要素に通電するようにプロセッサを構成するステップとを含んでおり、
前記プロセッサは、主として、前記電気的構成要素と前記フィルターとの間にある既存の気泡を該気泡が前記フィルターを通過することができる前記第2の開口部へと移動させるよう設計された通電パターンで、前記電気的構成要素を前記強度で通電し、前記流体供給経路の中の流体に温度差マランゴニ対流を生じさせるように構成されている、方法。 - 前記プロセッサを構成するステップには、前記フィルターを通る流体の流れと略反対の方向に前記気泡を移動させるような通電パターンで前記電気的構成要素を通電するように構成することを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセッサは、主として前記流体の少なくとも一部を気化させる強度より高い強度で、前記電気的構成要素のうちの少なくともいくつかを通電するように構成されている、請求項5に記載の方法。
