先ず、図3は本発明の第1実施例によるLEDを利用したバックライト装置(100)の正面断面図で、図4は図3の4-4線に沿って切断した側面断面図で、図5は図3のバックライト装置(100)の分解斜視図である。

Claims (12)
- 上部に開口が形成されたハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内の底に形成された反射板と、
上記反射板側へ光を放出するように上記反射板の上側に所定距離を隔てて配置された複数のLED光源と、
上記LED光源を支持するように前記ハウジングの側壁に連結された光源支持手段と、
上記LED光源に対応する位置の上記反射板の上面から上向き突出した突起と、
上記突起と交互に形成され、少なくとも上記LED光源と同一の高さに延長された第2突起と、
を備えるLEDを利用したバックライト装置。 - 上記突起及び第2突起は、三角形の上下方向断面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 上記突起及び第2突起は、上方へ膨らんだ半円形の上下方向断面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 前記ハウジングの開口の上側に配置された拡散板をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 上部に開口が形成されたハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内の底に形成された平坦な反射板と、
上記反射板側へ光を放出するように上記反射板の上側に所定距離を隔てて配置された複数の棒状のLED光源と、
上記LED光源に対応する位置の上記反射板の上面から夫々延長された複数の第1突起と、
上記第1突起と交互に上向き突出し、少なくとも上記LED光源と同一の高さに延長された第2突起と、
上記LED光源を支持するように前記ハウジングの側壁に連結された光源支持手段とを備えるLEDを利用したバックライト装置。 - 上記第1及び第2突起は、三角形の上下方向断面を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 上記第1及び第2突起は、上方へ膨らんだ半円形の上下方向断面を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 前記ハウジングの開口の上側に配置された拡散板をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 前記ハウジングと上記拡散板との間に配置された透明板をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1または5に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 上記光源支持手段は、上記LED光源が底面に付着された棒状の金属製印刷回路基板であることを特徴とする請求項1または5に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 前記ハウジングの外部表面には、上記金属製印刷回路基板と連結された放熱手段が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1または5に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
- 上記反射板は、ランバート面(Lambertian surface)を有することを特徴とする請求項1または5に記載のLEDを利用したバックライト装置。
