Description
Claims (10)
- 1350℃以上の高融点を有する金属若しくは合金を被加工物として摩擦攪拌接合することができる摩擦攪拌接合用工具であって、
少なくとも前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、イリジウムを含有し、レニウム、ルテニウム、モリブデン、タングステン、ニオブ、タンタル、ロジウム或いはこれらの2種以上を含有し、さらにジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ランタン、セリウム、サマリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム、イットリウム或いはこれらの2種以上を含有する組成を有し、且つ、マイクロビッカース硬度が300Hv以上の硬度を有することを特徴とする摩擦攪拌接合用工具。 - 前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、イリジウムを含有し、レニウム又はルテニウムを1.0〜50.0原子%含有し、さらにジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ランタン、セリウム、サマリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム又はイットリウムを0.1〜5.0原子%含有する3元合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具。
- 前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、イリジウムを含有し、モリブテン又はタングステンを1.0〜35.0原子%含有し、さらにジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ランタン、セリウム、サマリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム又はイットリウムを0.1〜5.0原子%含有する3元合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具。
- 前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、イリジウムを含有し、ニオブ又はタンタルを1.0〜25.0原子%含有し、さらにジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ランタン、セリウム、サマリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム又はイットリウムを0.1〜5.0原子%含有する3元合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具。
- 前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、イリジウムを含有し、レニウム又はルテニウムを1.0〜50.0原子%及びロジウムを1.0〜18.0原子%含有し、さらにジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ランタン、セリウム、サマリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム又はイットリウムを0.1〜5.0原子%含有する4元合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具。
- 前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、イリジウムを含有し、モリブテン又はタングステンを1.0〜35.0原子%及びロジウムを1.0〜18.0原子%含有し、さらにジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ランタン、セリウム、サマリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム又はイットリウムを0.1〜5.0原子%含有する4元合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具。
- 前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、イリジウムを含有し、ニオブ又はタンタルを1.0〜25.0原子%及びロジウムを1.0〜18.0原子%含有し、さらにジルコニウム、ハフニウム、ランタン、セリウム、サマリウム、ガドリニウム、スカンジウム又はイットリウムを0.1〜5.0原子%含有する4元合金で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具。
- 前記被加工物に接触させる部分が、少なくともイリジウムとロジウムとを含有し、ロジウムの含有量が1.0〜18.0原子%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具。
- 被加工物を相互に当接若しくはほぼ当接させて細長の結合領域を規定し、該結合領域に挿入した摩擦攪拌接合用工具を回転させつつ移動させて、前記被加工物を接合する摩擦攪拌接合法において、
前記被加工物は、1350℃以上の高融点を有する金属若しくは合金からなり、前記摩擦攪拌接合用工具として、請求項1、2、3、4、5、6、7又は8のいずれか一項に記載の摩擦攪拌接合用工具を使用することを特徴とする摩擦攪拌接合法。 - 前記摩擦攪拌接合用工具の押し当て面の裏面側に、イリジウムのバックプレート又はイリジウムを含有し、レニウム、ルテニウム、モリブデン、タングステン、ニオブ、タンタル、ロジウム、ジルコニウム又はハフニウム或いはこれらの2種以上を副成分として含有する組成を有するバックプレート又はイリジウム被膜若しくは前記組成を有する被膜を施したバックプレートをあてがいながら、接合を行なうことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の摩擦攪拌接合法。
