Description
Claims (8)
- 印加される電圧に応じて発光動作と受光動作の切り替えが可能なEL(Electroluminescence)素子を含む画素からなるアクティブマトリクス駆動の入出力装置を制御する制御装置において、
所定の画素に含まれるEL素子に受光動作を行わせるとき、そのEL素子による直前の発光動作のときに寄生容量に充電された電荷を抜き取る抜き取り手段と、
前記抜き取り手段により前記寄生容量から電荷が抜き取られたEL素子を含む前記所定の画素からの出力に基づいて、前記入出力装置に対する外部からの光の入力を検出する検出手段と
を備えることを特徴とする制御装置。 - 前記抜き取り手段は、前記所定の画素に含まれるEL素子の動作を発光動作から受光動作に切り替えるとき、前記寄生容量に充電された電荷を抜き取る
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御装置。 - 前記検出手段は、前記抜き取り手段により前記寄生容量から電荷が抜き取られたEL素子が光を受けることに応じて発生する電流を表す前記所定の画素からの出力に基づいて、前記入出力装置に対する外部からの光の入力を検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御装置。 - 前記検出手段は、前記抜き取り手段により前記寄生容量から電荷が抜き取られたEL素子が光を受けることに応じて発生する電流と、そのEL素子を含む画素の動作を切り替えるTFTが光を受けることに応じて発生する電流とを表す前記所定の画素からの出力に基づいて、前記入出力装置に対する外部からの光の入力を検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御装置。 - 印加される電圧に応じて発光動作と受光動作の切り替えが可能なEL(Electroluminescence)素子を含む画素からなるアクティブマトリクス駆動の入出力装置を制御する制御装置の制御方法において、
所定の画素に含まれるEL素子に受光動作を行わせるとき、そのEL素子による直前の発光動作のときに寄生容量に充電された電荷を抜き取る抜き取りステップと、
前記抜き取りステップの処理により前記寄生容量から電荷が抜き取られたEL素子を含む前記所定の画素からの出力に基づいて、前記入出力装置に対する外部からの光の入力を検出する検出ステップと
を含むことを特徴とする制御方法。 - 印加される電圧に応じて発光動作と受光動作の切り替えが可能なEL(Electroluminescence)素子を含む画素からなるアクティブマトリクス駆動の入出力装置を制御するコンピュータに実行させるプログラムが記録されている記録媒体において、
所定の画素に含まれるEL素子に受光動作を行わせるとき、そのEL素子による直前の発光動作のときに寄生容量に充電された電荷の抜き取りを制御する抜き取り制御ステップと、
前記抜き取り制御ステップの処理により前記寄生容量から電荷が抜き取られたEL素子を含む前記所定の画素からの出力に基づいて、前記入出力装置に対する外部からの光の入力を検出する検出ステップと
を含むことを特徴とするコンピュータが読み取り可能なプログラムが記録されている記録媒体。 - 印加される電圧に応じて発光動作と受光動作の切り替えが可能なEL(Electroluminescence)素子を含む画素からなるアクティブマトリクス駆動の入出力装置を制御するコンピュータに実行させるプログラムにおいて、
所定の画素に含まれるEL素子に受光動作を行わせるとき、そのEL素子による直前の発光動作のときに寄生容量に充電された電荷の抜き取りを制御する抜き取り制御ステップと、
前記抜き取り制御ステップの処理により前記寄生容量から電荷が抜き取られたEL素子を含む前記所定の画素からの出力に基づいて、前記入出力装置に対する外部からの光の入力を検出する検出ステップと
を含むことを特徴とするプログラム。 - 印加される電圧に応じて発光動作と受光動作の切り替えが可能なEL(Electroluminescence)素子を含む画素からなるアクティブマトリクス駆動の入出力装置であって、
各画素には、
受光動作を行うとき、制御装置による制御に応じて、直前の発光動作のときにEL素子の寄生容量に充電された電荷を放電する放電手段と、
外部から照射された光に応じて画素内で発生される電流を表す信号を出力する出力手段と
が設けられることを特徴とする入出力装置。
