Claims (10)
- インフレータの外面を形成する下部ハウジング(54)に取り付けられた上部ハウジング(57)と、
膨張ガスを発生する可燃性のガス発生物(20)を収容する第1のチャンバー(22)と、
膨張ガスを発生する可燃性のガス発生物(20)を収容する第2のチャンバー(33)と、
前記第1のチャンバー(22)を前記第2のチャンバー(33)から隔離する分割板(40)と、
を有し、
前記第1のチャンバー(22)は前記上部ハウジング(57)、第1のフィルタ(21)、および前記分割板(40)によって囲まれる空間であり、前記第2のチャンバー(33)は前記下部ハウジング(54)、第2のフィルタ(36)、および前記分割板(40)によって囲まれる空間であり、前記分割板(40)は、第1の点火器(11)が入る第1の穴(42)と、第2の点火器(13)が入る第2の穴(44)を有し、前記分割板(40)は、実質的に、前記下部ハウジング(54)の内径にわたって延びており、前記分割板(40)は、前記第2のチャンバー(33)の内圧が前記第1のチャンバー(22)より大きい時に、前記分割板(40)が前記第1のチャンバー(22)に向かって移動させられるように、前記インフレータの動作中に移動可能である、インフレータ。 - 前記分割板(40)は、前記インフレータが作動させられる前に前記下部ハウジング(54)の内面に接触する周縁面(52)を有する、請求項1に記載のインフレータ。
- 前記上部ハウジング(57)の、前記下部ハウジング(54)への溶接から形成された複数の溶接カール(64)をさらに有し、該溶接カール(64)は前記分割板(40)の、前記第1のチャンバー(22)の方向への移動を制限している、請求項1に記載のインフレータ。
- 前記第2のチャンバー(33)内の前記ガス発生物(20)を点火するための点火促進材料から作られた環状、または円筒形構造体(32)をさらに有し、点火促進材料から作られた前記環状、または円筒形構造体(32)は前記第2の点火器(13)を受け入れており、それによって、点火促進材料から作られた前記環状、または円筒形構造体(32)は前記第2の点火器(13)の点火により点火される、請求項1に記載のインフレータ。
- 貫通する複数の穴(24)を有する円盤(23)をさらに有し、該円盤(23)は前記第1のチャンバー(22)内の前記ガス発生物(20)を促進剤粒(15)から分離している、請求項1に記載のインフレータ。
- 前記上部ハウジング(57)は、膨張ガスを前記インフレータから出すための、周囲に配置された複数の出口ポート(63)を有する、請求項1に記載のインフレータ。
- 前記第1のフィルタ(21)は前記第1のチャンバー(22)内の前記ガス発生物(20)の燃焼からの前記膨張ガスを濾過し、前記第2のフィルタ(36)は前記第2のチャンバー(33)内の前記ガス発生物(20)の燃焼からの前記膨張ガスを濾過し、前記第1のフィルタ(21)と前記第2のフィルタ(36)は同軸である、請求項1に記載のインフレータ。
- 前記分割板(40)は周縁壁(50)を有し、該周縁壁は、前記膨張ガスが前記第2のチャンバー(33)から前記分割板(40)の周りを流れて前記インフレータを出ることができるようにする複数の溝(45)を有している、請求項1に記載のインフレータ。
- 前記周縁壁(50)は、第1の張り出し部分(51)、輪郭部分(53)、および第2の張り出し部分(52)を有し、前記第1の張り出し部分(51)は前記分割板(40)から延びており、前記輪郭部分(53)は、前記第1の張り出し部分(51)と前記第2の張り出し部分(52)の間に配置されており、複数の溝(54)が前記第1の張り出し部分(51)、前記輪郭部分(53)、および前記第2の張り出し部分(52)に、前記第2のチャンバー(33)からの膨張ガスが前記分割板(40)の周りを流れて前記インフレータを出ることができるように位置している、請求項8に記載のインフレータ。
- 前記周縁壁(50)の前記溝(45)は前記第2の張り出し部分(52)に部分的にのみ沿って延び、複数の前記溝(45)は半径方向に配置され、前記分割板(40)は、前記第2のチャンバー(33)の内圧が前記第1のチャンバー(22)より大きい時に、前記分割板(40)が前記第1のチャンバー(22)に向かって移動させられるように、前記インフレータの動作中に移動可能である、請求項9に記載のインフレータ。
