Description
モリブデンとバナジウムとの、これらを含む無機溶液からの分離は、一般的に簡単ではない。最も広く知られかつ適用可能な現在使用される技術のうち、硫化アルカリ又は硫酸で硫化モリブデンを沈殿してバナジウムを溶液中に残すこと、又は有機溶媒で抽出及び分離することが言及され得る。
前者の場合、方法は比較的シンプルで、有機溶媒に不溶性の無機化合物が生成するようになる。従って、この方法は、所定の用途に直接再利用できなくなる。後者の場合、方法は、難しくてより複雑であり、モリブデンを含有する有機溶媒の形成をともなう。
アルカリ金属のキサントゲン酸塩は、長い間知られており、多くの場合、レーヨンを製造するためのキサントゲン酸セルロースの重要性とは別に、硫化金属、特に硫化銅及び硫化モリブデンの浮遊捕集剤として適用される。
これは、更に、ゴムの加硫、除草剤及び殺虫剤、潤滑剤用添加剤等に使用される。
遊離酸は、ROCS2Hタイプで、無色で、不安定で通常の有機溶媒に可溶性であり;以下のスキームに従って、室温で分解して二硫化炭素になり及び対応するアルコールになる。

二硫化炭素及びトリチオカーボネートのさらなる加水分解によって、硫化水素が生成する。
重金属塩は、有機溶媒、クロロホルム、THF及びベンゼンにより可溶性であるが、水、アルコール及び脂肪族炭化水素にはあまり可溶性ではない。C原子の数が十分であると、有機溶媒により可溶性となる。
この方法は、本発明の目的、つまり、モリブデンを200mg/lよりも多い量でバナジウムと共に含有する液体混合物から、モリブデンを選択的に除去するため、以下の工程を含むことを特徴とする:
・液体混合物を3より小さい、好ましくは2以下のpHとする工程;
・キサントゲン酸アルカリの溶液を溶液に加えてモリブデン/キサントゲン酸アルカリのモル比を1/4〜1/8、好ましくは1/5〜1/7の範囲とし、無機酸の添加によってpHを一定に維持する工程;
・混合物を撹拌して混合物中に存在するモリブデンの沈殿を起こす工程。
本発明の方法に推奨されるキサントゲン酸アルカリは、エチルキサントゲン酸アルカリ、特にエチルキサントゲン酸カリウムである。
いくつかの実施例を本発明のよりよい理解のために提供するが、本発明それ自体の範囲を限定するものとして考慮されるべきではない。
pH=2に希釈した塩酸をMo及びVを含む(それぞれ10及び5g/l)アルカリ溶液に添加し、その後、エチルキサントゲン酸カリウムの300g/l溶液を室温でゆっくりと加え、pH=2を、同じ酸溶液で一定に維持した。
ほとんどのMoがほぼ完全に沈殿し、これは、より低い程度に減少するVとは異なる。
沈殿収率は、それぞれMoが約82%、Vが8%であった。
この試験は、以前のものと同じように行われるが、硫酸によって
で行われる。この場合、Moの沈殿収率は、極めて改善され、良好なバナジウムからの分離、つまり、それぞれ95%と6%となった。モル比 Mo:エチルキサントゲン酸Kは、1:6に等しい。
洗浄した沈殿物の化学分析から、MoとVの含有量は、以下のようになることがわかる:
わかるように、2:1である最初のMo/V比は、140:1になる。
Claims (4)
- モリブデンを200mg/lよりも多い量でバナジウムと共に含有する液体混合物から、モリブデンを選択的に除去するための方法であって、以下の工程:
・液体混合物を2以下のpHとする工程;
・キサントゲン酸アルカリの溶液を溶液に加えてモリブデン/キサントゲン酸アルカリのモル比を1/4〜1/8の範囲とし、無機酸の添加によってpHを一定に維持する工程;
・混合物を撹拌して混合物中に存在するモリブデンの沈殿を起こす工程、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - モリブデン/キサントゲン酸アルカリのモル比を1/5〜1/7の範囲とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- キサントゲン酸アルカリが、エチルキサントゲン酸アルカリである、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- エチルキサントゲン酸アルカリが、エチルキサントゲン酸カリウムである、請求項3に記載の方法。
