Claims (25)
- 骨の穿孔に用いる器具であって、スリーブ、スライダおよびドリルを備え、前記スリーブは、骨に穿孔される穴の深さを設定する深さゲージと、前記骨に接触する端部を有し、前記スライダは、前記深さゲージと互いに連携して作用する離脱可能な係止機構を備え、前記スライダは前記スリーブ内において軸方向に沿って配置され、前記ドリルは肩部を有するドリルシャフトを備え、前記ドリルシャフトは、第1端部と、前記スライダの内径よりも小さい外径を有する中間部と、第2端部とを有し、前記肩部は前記第1端部および前記中間部間に形成され、前記シャフトは前記スライダ内において軸方向に沿って嵌入され、前記肩部が前記スライダと接触するまで前進して骨を穿孔するようにした器具において、
前記深さゲージは前記スリーブに形成された溝を備え、前記溝は複数の受け部材を有し、前記係止機構は前記スライダに形成されたスプリングアームを備えており、前記アームはそこから径方向に延在して前記受け部材に係止可能なエッジを有し、前記アームを前記スライダの中心に向かって変位させることによって、前記エッジを前記受け部材への係止を解除した状態に保つようにしていることを特徴とする器具。 - 前記アームは、そこから径方向に前記溝と一直線に並んで延在するタブを備え、前記タブに力を付加することによって、前記アームを変位させていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記受け部材の各々には、その対応する深さを示すマークが付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記受け部材の各々は、V字型切込み、穴およびギザギザ状刻み目からなる群から選択される形状を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記スリーブはそこから軸方向に延在して骨と接触可能な鋸歯をさらに備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記スリーブは、ステンレス鋼およびチタニウムからなる群から選択される材料から形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記スライダは、ステンレス鋼、チタニウム、およびプラスチックからなる群から選択される材料から形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記深さゲージは、穴の深さを約6mmから約54mmの範囲の値に制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記深さゲージは、穴の深さを約10mmから約14mmの範囲の値に制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 第1肩部を画成するタップシャフトを有し、前記ドリルが前記スライダから取り外された後で前記スライダに挿入可能なタップをさらに備え、前記タップは前記スライダ内に軸方向に沿って嵌入され、前記第1肩部が前記スライドと接触するまで前進して骨の前記穴をネジ切るようにしていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記深さゲージは、ネジ切り深さを約6mmから約24mmの範囲内の値に制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の器具。
- 前記タップは、さらに第1端部と、前記第1端部の外径よりも小さい外径を有する第1中間部と、前記第1中間部よりも小さい外径を有する第2中間部を有し、前記第1肩部は前記第1中間部および前記第2中間部間に形成され、第2肩部が前記第1端部および前記第1中間部間に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の器具。
- 前記第1端部は前記スリーブの内径よりも大きい外径を有し、前記穴が所定の最大深さにネジ切りされたとき、前記第2肩部が前記スリーブと当接するようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の器具。
- 骨の穿孔に用いる器具であって、スリーブ、スライダおよびドリルを備え、
前記スリーブは複数対のV字型切込みを備える溝を有し、前記複数対のV字型切込みの各対は骨に穿孔される所定の穴の深さに対応し、
前記スライダはスプリングアームを備え、前記アームはそこから径方向に延在するエッジを有し、前記エッジは前記複数対のV字型切込み内に係止するように操作可能であり、前記アームを前記スライダの中心に向かって変位させることによって、前記エッジの係止を解除した状態に保ち、
前記ドリルは肩部を有するシャフトを備え、前記シャフトは前記スライダ内に軸方向に沿って嵌入され、前記肩部が前記スライドと接触するまで前進して骨を穿孔するようにしたことを特徴とする器具。 - 前記スリーブは、そこから径方向に延在して骨と接触可能な鋸歯を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 前記アームは、そこから径方向に前記溝と一直線に並んで延在するタブを備え、前記タブに力を付加することによって前記アームを変位させていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 前記複数対のV字型切込みの各対には、その対応する深さを示すマークが付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 前記ドリルは、第1端部と、前記スライダの内径よりも小さい外径を有する中間部と、第2端部とを有し、前記肩部は前記第1端部および前記中間部間に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 前記スリーブは、ステンレス鋼およびチタニウムからなる群から選択される材料から形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 前記スライダは、ステンレス鋼、チタニウム、およびプラスチックからなる群から選択される材料から形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 前記穴の深さは、約6mmから約54mmの範囲内の値に設定されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 第1肩部を画成するタップシャフトを有し、前記ドリルが前記スライダから取り外された後で前記スライダに挿入可能なタップをさらに備え、前記タップは前記スライダ内に軸方向に沿って嵌入され、前記第1肩部が前記スライダと接触するまで前進して骨の前記穴をネジ切るようにしていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の器具。
- 前記深さゲージは、ネジ切り深さを約6mmから約24mmの範囲内の値に制御するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項22に記載の器具。
- 前記タップは、さらに第1端部と、前記第1端部の外径よりも小さい外径を有する第1中間部と、前記第1中間部よりも小さい外径を有する第2中間部を有し、前記第1肩部は前記第1中間部および前記第2中間部間に形成され、第2肩部が前記第1端部および前記第1中間部間に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項23に記載の器具。
- 前記第1端部は、前記スリーブの内径よりも大きい外径を有し、前記穴が所定の最大深さにネジ切りされたとき、前記第2肩部が前記スリーブと当接するようになっていることを特徴とする、請求項24に記載の器具。
