Description
本発明はインクジェットプリントヘッドに関し、かつそのようなプリントヘッドを製造する方法に関する。
Claims (14)
- 対向する第1および第2の表面を有し、該表面間を基板の厚さを貫いて延在し、インク供給源と前記第1の表面に形成された複数のインク噴射素子との間に液通を提供する少なくとも1つのインク供給スロットを有する基板を備えるインクジェットプリントヘッドであって、前記インク供給スロットは、選択的に露光され現像されることによって、複数のインク給送穴が開けられたフィルターとして形成されるフォトレジスト材料で、少なくとも前記厚さの一部まで満たされており、前記フィルターを形成しているフォトレジスト材料は、前記インク供給スロット内に位置している、インクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面は略正多角形である、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面は略正六角形である、請求項2に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記フォトレジスト材料は前記第1の表面と略同一平面を構成している、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記フォトレジスト材料は、前記インク供給スロットの前記厚さの一部のみを満たすものである、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面はテーパ状である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記インク給送穴の断面積は、前記インク噴射素子から遠ざかるにつれて大きくなっている、請求項6に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 前記複数のインク噴射素子は、前記基板の第1の表面上で、前記インク供給スロットの横に配列され、前記プリントヘッドはさらに、前記基板の前記第1の表面および前記インク噴射素子を覆う構造を有し、該構造は、前記複数のインク噴射素子の各々に対応した複数のインク噴射チャンバと、前記インク供給スロットから前記インク噴射素子までのインク供給経路と、前記個々のインク噴射チャンバから前記構造の外面まで通じている複数のインク噴射オリフィスとを画定している、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。
- 対向する第1および第2の表面を有し、該表面間を基板の厚さを貫いて延在し、インク供給源と前記第1の表面に形成された複数のインク噴射素子との間に液通を提供する少なくとも1つのインク供給スロットを有する基板を設けること、前記インク供給スロットを、少なくとも前記厚さの一部までフォトレジスト材料で満たすこと、および前記フォトレジスト材料を選択的に露光して現像し、複数のインク給送穴が形成されたフィルターを前記インク供給スロット内に形成することを含む、インクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記インク供給スロットを、少なくともその厚さの一部までフォトレジスト材料で満たす前記段階は、前記基板の1つの表面に密着シート材料を貼ること、前記インク供給スロットを前記基板の反対側の表面を最上方にしつつ液体フォトレジスト材料で少なくとも部分的に満たすこと、選択的に露光し現像することができるという前記フォトレジスト材料の能力をなくすことなく、前記フォトレジスト材料を硬化するよう処理すること、および前記密着シート材料を取り除くことを含む、請求項9に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記複数のインク噴射素子の各々に対応した複数のインク噴射チャンバを形成するために、前記第1の表面上にフォトレジスト層を設けること、および該フォトレジスト層を選択的に露光して現像することをさらに含む、請求項9または10に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記フォトレジスト層は液体として施される、請求項11に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 前記フォトレジスト層はドライシート材料として施される、請求項11に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッドを製造する方法。
- 少なくとも1つのインク槽からプリントヘッドにインクを供給する少なくとも1つの開口部を有するカートリッジ本体と、該カートリッジ本体上に取付けられた請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のプリントヘッドとを備え、前記少なくとも1つの開口部は前記プリントヘッドの前記少なくとも1つのインク供給スロットに液通している、プリントカートリッジ。
