【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、光ファイバ心線の接続部及び接続余長を収納する余長収納トレイに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来の余長収納トレイを図２に示す。図において、10は光ファイバ心線、12は光ファイバ心線10の接続部、14は余長収納トレイ、16は余長収納トレイ14の底板、18は底板16上の適当な位置に光ファイバ心線接続部12を収納するために突設されたリブ、20は底板16の周辺に突設された周壁、22は周壁20が一部切り欠かれた、光ファイバ心線10の導入部、24は周壁20の上端から内向きに張り出した、光ファイバ心線10の飛び出し防止片である。図２では余長収納トレイ14に、接続部12の片方の光ファイバ心線10の接続余長を収納した状態を示したが、もう一方の光ファイバ心線10の接続余長も同様に収納される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
余長収納トレイに光ファイバ心線の接続部及び接続余長を収納すると、接続余長を収納する区域内に光ファイバ心線10が重なり合って密集する部分Ｍが生じる。この心線密集部分Ｍの、底板16上面からの高さは周壁20の高さよりも低く抑える必要があるので、余長収納トレイにできるだけ多くの光ファイバ心線を収納したいという要求がある場合でも、収納可能な光ファイバ心線の本数は、心線密集部分Ｍの高さによってほぼ決まってくる。特にテープ状光ファイバ心線などでは、心線密集部分Ｍが嵩張るため、接続部の収納区域に空きスペースがある場合でも、心線密集部分Ｍの高さから心線収納本数が制限されるという問題が生じる。

したがって本発明の目的は、光ファイバ心線の収納本数を従来よりも増やすことが可能な光ファイバ心線余長収納トレイを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この目的を達するため本発明は、底板上に、光ファイバ心線の接続部を収納する区域と、光ファイバ心線の接続余長を収納する区域とを設けた余長収納トレイにおいて、前記光ファイバ心線の接続余長を収納する区域内の底板の、光ファイバ心線が重なり合って密集する部分に、開口又は凹みを形成したことを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。

図１は本発明の一実施形態を示す。図２において、図１と同一部分には同一符号を付してある。この余長収納トレイ14が従来のものと異なる点は、光ファイバ心線の接続余長を収納する区域内に位置する底板16の、光ファイバ心線が重なり合って密集する部分（図２のＭに相当する部分）に、開口26を形成したことである。このような開口26を形成すると、心線密集部分の下部がその開口26内に沈み込むため、その分、周壁20の高さまで光ファイバ心線を積み上げることが可能となり、光ファイバ心線の収納本数を増やすことができる。上記以外の構成は、図２の余長収納トレイと同じであるので、同一部分には同一符号を付して説明を省略する。

なお、上記の実施形態では、底板16に開口24を形成した場合を説明したが、開口24の代わりに底板16の上面側に凹みを形成しても（底板16の下面側を薄く残す）ほぼ同様の効果が得られる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明によれば、余長収納トレイの底板の、光ファイバ心線が重なり合って密集する部分に、開口又は凹みを形成したので、心線密集部分の下部をその開口又は凹みに沈み込ませることができ、その分、光ファイバ心線の収納本数を増やすことができる。

  1. 底板上に、光ファイバ心線の接続部を収納する区域と、光ファイバ心線の接続余長を収納する区域とを設けた余長収納トレイにおいて、前記光ファイバ心線の接続余長を収納する区域内の底板の、光ファイバ心線が重なり合って密集する部分に、開口又は凹みを形成したことを特徴とする光ファイバ心線余長収納トレイ。
