【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、排泄物を吸収保持す
るための使い捨ておむつに関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、この種のおむつとして、透液性内
面シートと不透液性外面シートとの間に吸液性パネルを
介在させ、股下領域の両側に着用者の脚囲りを囲繞する
凹欠部を形成し、該凹欠部の側縁近傍に伸縮性を付与
し、更に、排泄物の横方向への流動漏洩を防ぐため、前
記内面シートの両側に収縮性で起ち上がるフラップを設
けたものが多く知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、前記公知のお
むつにおいては、前記フラップがその全長にわたって前
記内面シートに一体に設けてあるから、例えば、着用者
の脚運動でおむつ主体の脚囲り部が伸縮したとき、それ
に連れて前記フラップも伸縮する。したがって、おむつ
主体の脚囲り部が弛緩すれば前記フラップも弛緩し、排
泄物が容易に漏れる虞れがある。また、前記フラップ
は、排泄物の横方向への流動漏洩を防ぐことはできて
も、離間する前記フラップの間では排泄物が比較的広範
囲かつ容易に流動することができるから、排泄物が大便
である場合、大便で着用者の肌が少なくともその範囲に
わたって汚れる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】この発明は、おむつ主
体の内面に、その股下領域を覆う大きさ、即ち着用者の
肛門及び泌尿器を全体的に覆う大きさの補助パッドを、
おむつ主体の脚囲り部の動きに直接影響されないように
設けることで、前記課題を解決することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題を解決するため
のこの発明は、透液性内面シートと不透液性外面シート
との間に吸液性パネルを介在し、股下領域の両側に着用
者の脚囲りを囲繞する凹欠部を形成し、該凹欠部の側縁
近傍に伸縮性を付与したおむつ主体を構成してある使い
捨ておむつを前提とし、次の点を特徴とする。
【０００６】即ち、前記内面シートの上面には、前記お
むつ主体とは別体で前記おむつ主体の股下領域を覆う大
きさの補助パッドをその両外側領域を残して接合し、該
両外側領域の両外側縁から内側へ離間した部位には、そ
の長さ方向へ伸縮する弾性部材を設けてあり、前記補助
パッドの横断面が前記弾性部材の収縮で逆Ω状に変形す
るようにしてあること。
【０００７】実施例では、前記補助パッドは、透液性上
面シートと不透液性下面シートとの間に吸液性パネルを
介在して構成してあることを含む。

【作用】おむつの着用状態では、補助パッドの横断面が
その両側の弾性部材の収縮で逆Ω状に変形する。排泄物
は、その変形した逆Ω状の補助パッドに優先的かつ確実
に受容される。補助パッドは、その中央部だけおむつ主
体に固定されているから、おむつ主体の脚囲り部の動き
に直接影響されず、着用者の肛門及び泌尿器に安定的に
位置することになる。

【実施例】図面を参照して、この発明に係るおむつの実
施例を説明すると、以下のとおりである。
【００１０】図１及び図２において、おむつ主体１は、
透液性内面シート２と不透液性外面シート３との間に吸
液性パネル４を介在して内外面シート２，３の外周縁を
接合し、股下領域の両側に着用者の脚囲りを囲繞する凹
欠部５を形成し、凹欠部５の側縁近傍内に長さ方向への
伸縮性を有する弾性部材６を介在し、後側領域の両側に
テープファスナー７を取り付けてある。テープファスナ
ー７の自由端部を接着すべき前側領域の外面には、その
横方向へ帯状に延在する補強テープ８を接合してある
（図３及び図４参照）。おむつ主体１の後側領域の後端
には横方向へ伸縮する弾性部材９を介在し、その近傍に
は横方向へ延在する圧縮凹溝１６を形成してある。
【００１１】おむつ主体１の股下領域における内面シー
ト２の上面には、おむつ主体１の股下領域を覆う大き
さ、即ち着用者の肛門及び泌尿器を全体的に覆う大きさ
に形成した補助パッド１０を配置してある。補助パッド
１０は、透液性上面シート１１と不透液性下面シート１
２との間にパネル４よりも薄い吸液性パネル１３を介在
して上下面シート１１，１２の外周縁を接合し、所要幅
を有する両外側領域の両外側縁から内側へ離間した部位
にその長さ方向へ伸縮する弾性部材１４を介在して構成
してある。補助パッド１０は、両弾性部材１４が位置す
る線上と、これら線上の間において、長さ方向へ延在す
る圧縮条溝１５を付与し、長さ方向中央部において内面
シート２の上面に接合してある。従って、補助パッド１
０は、弾性部材１４が収縮すると、図１に例示するよう
に、両側領域が弾性部材１４の線上において逆Ｖ状に屈
曲して起ち上がり、その横断面が逆Ω状に変形する。弾
性部材１４の線上に圧縮条溝１５を付与してあると、そ
の線上において逆Ｖ状に屈曲して起ち上がり易いが、該
条溝がなくてもほぼ同様に屈曲して起ち上がる傾向があ
る。補助パッド１０の幅寸法は、該パッドが逆Ω状に変
形したとき、該パッドの両側縁が凹欠部５の最も深い底
から外側へそれぞれ適宜延出するように形成してあるこ
とが好ましい。
【００１２】図３に示すように、おむつ主体１は、前側
領域１ａと、後側領域１ｂに分割して形成し、それら一
端を連結して構成してある。前後側領域１ａ，１ｂの連
結部を前後に跨がるおむつ主体１の股下領域に、前記補
助パッド１０を接合してある。この発明においては、お
むつ主体１をそのように構成することを条件とするもの
ではないが、そのように構成することで、例えば、前後
側領域１ａ，１ｂに異なる材料を用いて該両領域の一方
の通気度や吸収能力などをその他方のそれらと異ならせ
ることができる。また、おむつ主体１をそのように構成
する場合には、前後側領域１ａ，１ｂに生じたそれらの
連結部の境界線上での排泄液の吸収能が低下するが、こ
れは補助パッド１０を接合することで解決することがで
きる。
【００１３】例えば、内面シート２及び上面シート１１
には不織布を、外面シート３及び下面シート１２にはプ
ラスチックフィルムを、パネル３，１３にはフラッフパ
ルプに高吸収性ポリマーを混合したものを、弾性部材
６，９，１４にはゴム弾性を有するゴム又はエラストマ
ーを、それぞれ用いることができる。
【００１４】この発明に係る実施例によれば、図４に示
すおむつの着用状態において、逆Ω状に変形していわば
容器となった補助パッド１０が着用者の肛門及び泌尿器
を完全に覆ってそれら両外側が弾性部材１４の弾性で圧
接するとともに、補助パッド１０の両外側がおむつ主体
１の両側の弾性部材６の弾性で着用者の皮膚に圧接す
る。従って、補助パッド１０は、排泄物に対してこれが
該パッドの外周から漏出するのを防ぐためのいわば受け
皿の機能を果たす。

【発明の効果】この発明によれば、以上のように、補助
パッドが排泄物を受容し、排泄物がおむつ主体に比較的
広範囲に流動して着用者の肌を妄りに汚すことがない。
しかも、補助パッドは、おむつ主体の両外側の動きに直
接影響されることがなく、受容された排泄物をそこに滞
留させる。従って、おむつ主体の両側が弛緩してもその
股下領域の両側から排泄物が漏れることがない。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】透液性内面シートと不透液性外面シートと
    の間に吸液性パネルを介在し、股下領域の両側に着用者
    の脚囲りを囲繞する凹欠部を形成し、該凹欠部の側縁近
    傍に伸縮性を付与したおむつ主体を構成してある使い捨
    ておむつにおいて、 前記内面シートの上面には、前記おむつ主体とは別体で
    前記おむつ主体の股下領域を覆う大きさの補助パッドを
    その両外側領域を残して接合し、該両外側領域の両外側
    縁から内側へ離間した部位には、その長さ方向へ伸縮す
    る弾性部材を設けてあり、前記補助パッドの横断面が前
    記弾性部材の収縮で逆Ω状に変形するようにしてあるこ
    とを特徴とする前記おむつ。
  2. 【請求項２】前記補助パッドは、透液性上面シートと不
    透液性下面シートとの間に吸液性パネルを介在して構成
    してある請求項１に記載のおむつ。
