【発明の詳細な説明】

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、部品と部品、部品
と基材、基材と基材などを接合する接合部材と、この接
合部材で接合された接合体を容易に解体する方法に関す
るものである。
【0002】
【従来の技術】部品と部品、部品と基材、基材と基材を
接合する従来の接合部材としては、金属またはプラスチ
ックス製のネジ、ボルトおよびナット、リベット、釘、
鋲等が挙げられる。従来の接合部材の構成を図2に示
す。これらの解体方法としては、ドライバーやペンチ等
の手動または電動の工具を用いた人手による解体方法、
接合部材自体を切断する方法がある。また、リサイクル
を行う場合には、接合部材によって接合された部品や基
材ごと一括に粉砕してから、有価物を回収する方法もあ
る。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ドライバーやペンチ等
の工具による解体方法や接合部自体を切断する方法で
は、接合部材の位置を認識し、次にその接合部材に適し
た工具を選定し、その後解体作業を行うので、解体に多
大な時間を費やしてしまう。特に部品や基材が立体的に
入り組んでいる場合は、適切な工具が無く解体できない
ことが多い。また、接合部材によって接合された部品や
基材ごと一括粉砕する方法では、リサイクルを考えた場
合、有価物と非有価物が混然一体となってしまうため、
有価物のみを選択的に回収することができず、リサイク
ル率が大幅に低減してしまう。更に、部品や基材に有害
物が使用されている場合は、一括粉砕してしまうと、粉
砕物から有害物のみ選択的に除去することが非常に困難
なので、この有害物で汚染された粉砕物はリサイクルす
ることはできず、すべて廃棄処理しなくてはならない。
【0004】以上のように、接合部材で接合された接合
体を効率よく解体する方法を確立することは、大きな課
題であった。

【課題を解決するための手段】上述した問題点を解決す
るため、本発明による第1の発明は、部品と部品、また
は部品と基材、または基材と基材とを接合する接合部材
であって、前記接合部材が加熱助剤を含有する複合材料
からなることを特徴とする接合部材である。
【0006】第2の発明は、前記加熱助剤が、粒子また
は繊維の少なくともいずれかの形状を有する軟磁性体と
導電体と誘電体の内の少なくともいずれかを含有するこ
とを特徴とする第1の発明に記載の接合部材である。
【0007】第3の発明は、前記加熱助剤を含有する複
合材料の母材が、プラスチックスまたはセラミックスで
あることを特徴とする第1の発明または第2の発明に記
載の接合部材である。
【0008】第4の発明は、部品と部品、または部品と
基材、または基材と基材とが加熱助剤を含有する複合材
料からなる接合部材で接合された接合体の解体方法であ
って、前記接合部材に高周波磁界、または高周波電界、
または高周波磁界と高周波電界の両方を加える工程を有
することを特徴とする接合部材で接合された接合体の解
体方法である。

基材、または基材と基材とが加熱助剤を含有する複合材
料からなる接合部材で接合された接合体の解体方法であ
って、前記接合部材に高周波磁界、または高周波電界、
または高周波磁界と高周波電界の両方を加える工程と、
衝撃力と引っ張り力と振動力の内の少なくともいずれか
の力を含む外力を、接合部材と部品と基材の内の少なく
ともいずれかの部分に加える工程とを有することを特徴
とする接合部材で接合された接合体の解体方法である。
【0010】本発明で対象とする接合部材とは、部品と
部品、部品と基材、または基材と基材とを接合すること
を目的とした、ネジ、ボルトおよびナット、リベット、
釘、鋲などの形状を有す機構部品を指す。
【0011】また、本発明の軟磁性体とは、外部磁界に
よって容易に磁化されるが外部磁界を取り除けば磁化が
見かけ上消失する性質を有する、保持力の小さな強磁性
体であって、フェライト、鉄、ニッケルと鉄の合金であ
るパーマロイ等が挙げられる。
【0012】導電体としては、カーボンブラック、カー
ボン繊維、銅、アルミニウム、鉄、パーマロイ等が挙げ
られる。軟磁性体および導電体の両方の性質を有するも
のとしては、鉄、パーマロイ等が挙げられる。誘電体と
しては、チタン酸バリウム、クロロプレンゴム等の比較
的誘電率の高いものが効果的である。本発明では加熱助
剤として、軟磁性体または導電体または誘電体、または
それらの混合物を使用することが可能である。
【0013】加熱助剤を含有する複合材料の母材として
使用するプラスチックスとしては、ポリカーボネード、
ポリアセタール、変性ポリフェニレンエーテル、アクリ
ルニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン共重合体、ポリプロ
ピレン、ポリスチレン等の熱可塑性プラスチックスや、
エポキシ樹脂、フェノール樹脂等の熱硬化性樹脂が挙げ
られるが、本発明ではあらゆる種類のプラスチックスに
対し有効である。セラミックスとしては、アルミナ等の
金属酸化物を焼結させたものやガラス等が挙げられ、比
較的低融点のものが好ましい。
【0014】接合体を解体する際に用いられる高周波磁
界とは、磁界の方向が周期的に変化する交番磁界を指
し、この高周波磁界の周波数としては、50Hz以上か
つ100GHz以下であることが好ましい。また高周波
電界とは、電界の方向が周期的に変化する交番電界を指
し、この高周波磁界の周波数としては、50Hz以上か
つ100GHz以下であることが好ましい。本発明で
は、通常電磁波やマイクロ波と称される、高周波磁界お
よび高周波電界の両方の性質を有する電磁波も対象とす
る。また、異なる周波数の高周波磁界または高周波電
界、または高周波磁界と高周波電界とを一度に前記接合
部材に加えることも可能である。更に、高周波磁界およ
びまたは高周波電界を前記接合部材に加える方法として
は、連続的または断続的に加える方法が可能である。
【0015】本発明の作用についてであるが、加熱助剤
として軟磁性体を含有する接合部材に、高周波磁界を加
えると、ヒステリシス損失により加熱助剤が選択的に加
熱される。また、加熱助剤として導電体を含有する接合
部材に、高周波磁界を加えると、ジュール損失により加
熱助剤が選択的に加熱される。また、加熱助剤として誘
電体を含有する接合部材に、高周波電界を加えると、誘
電損失により加熱助剤が選択的に加熱される。これらに
よって加熱助剤が加熱されることで、接合部材の母材が
加熱され母材が溶融または分解する。接合部材が溶融ま
たは分解すれば、重力によって部品や基材が解体され
る。更に、高周波磁界や高周波電界を加えている間、ま
たは高周波磁界や高周波電界を加えた後に、接合部材お
よびまたは接合体に簡単な外力を加えれば解体効率は向
上する。加える外力としては、衝撃力およびまたは引っ
張り力およびまたは振動力を含むことが好ましい。
【0016】なお、2種の接合部材中に、同じ加熱助剤
が同じ量含有されていても、接合部材の母材が異なる場
合、同じ高周波磁界や高周波電界を加えても、母材の加
熱効率が異なるので、高周波磁界や高周波電界を加えて
いる時間によって解体をコントロールすることができ、
所定の部品や基材のみを選択的に解体することができ
る。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の一実施例について
説明する。
【0018】(実施例1)2枚のエポキシ樹脂製の板
を、フェライト粉末を含有するポリカーボネード製のネ
ジで接合し、これに高周波磁界を加えた。前記エポキシ
樹脂製板としては、縦30mm、横30mm、厚さ3mmの板
を使用し、この中央に直径5mmのネジ穴を設けた。接合
部材としては、加熱助剤として平均粒径50μm のNi
−Zn−フェライトを10重量%含む、ポリカーボネー
ド製ネジを使用した。このネジの接合部の直径は5mm、
接合部の長さは6mm、ネジの頭部の直径は8mmとした。
高周波磁界は、磁界発生コイルに高周波出力装置を接続
して発生させた。磁界発生コイルの直径は50mm、巻数
は5回、銅線の太さは3mmとした。高周波出力装置とし
ては、高周波出力が2kW、出力周波数が400kHz
のものを用いた。前記ポリカーボネード製ネジで接合さ
れたエポキシ樹脂製板を磁界発生コイルの中央に設置
し、高周波出力装置を用いて高周波磁界を連続的に加え
たところ、7秒後に前記ポリカーボネード製ネジが溶融
状態となり、重力によって、被接合体である2枚の板が
解体できた。なお、このネジは、高周波磁界や電界をか
けない通常時にはドライバーでの取り付け、取り外しが
可能である。
【0019】(実施例2)エポキシ樹脂製の板とフェノ
ール樹脂製の板をカーボンブラックを含有するポリアセ
タール製のボルトおよびナットで接合し、これに高周波
磁界を加えた。前記エポキシ樹脂製板およびフェノール
樹脂製板としては、縦30mm、横30mm、厚さ3mmの板
を使用し、この中央に直径5mmのネジ穴を設けた。接合
部材としては、加熱助剤として平均粒径0.05μm の
カーボンブラックを5重量%含むポリアセタール製のボ
ルトおよびナットを使用した。このボルトおよびナット
の接合部の直径は5mm、ボルトの接合部の長さは6mm、
ボルトの頭部の直径は8mm、ナットの直径は8mmとし
た。高周波磁界は、実施例1記載の磁界発生コイルに実
施例1記載の高周波出力装置を接続して発生させた。ポ
リアセタール製ボルトおよびナットで接合された、エポ
キシ樹脂製板とフェノール樹脂製板を磁界発生コイルの
中央に設置し、高周波出力装置を用いて高周波磁界を連
続的に加えたところ、18秒後に前記ポリアセタール製
ボルトおよびナットが溶融した。この状態でも重力によ
って解体するが、次いで外力として衝撃エネルギー1.
2J/cm2の衝撃力を2枚の板の側面から加えたとこ
ろ、被接合体である2枚の板をより容易に解体すること
ができた。なお、このボルトおよびナットは、高周波磁
界や電界をかけない通常時にはドライバーやペンチでの
取り付け、取り外しが可能である。
【0020】(実施例3)図1を用いて実施例3を説明
する。エポキシ樹脂製の板3とガラス製の板3′をカー
ボン繊維2を含有する変性ポリフェニレンエーテル製の
ネジ1で接合し、これに高周波磁界4を加えた。前記エ
ポキシ樹脂製板およびガラス製板としては、縦30mm、
横30mm、厚さ3mmの板を使用し、この中央に直径5mm
のネジ穴を設けた。接合部材1としては、加熱助剤2と
して平均繊維長100μm 、直径10μm のカーボン繊
維を2重量%含む、変性ポリフェニレンエーテル製のネ
ジを使用した。このネジの接合部の直径は5mm、接合部
の長さは6mm、ネジの頭部の直径は8mmとした。高周波
磁界は、実施例1記載の磁界発生コイルに実施例1記載
の高周波出力装置を接続して発生させた。変性ポリフェ
ニレンエーテル製ネジで接合された、エポキシ樹脂製板
とガラス製板を磁界発生コイルの中央に設置し、高周波
出力装置を用いて高周波磁界を連続的に加えるととも
に、本実施例では、被接合体3,3′である2枚の板
に、外力5として振幅1mm、振動周波数50Hzの振動
力を加えたところ、16秒後に変性ポリフェニレンエー
テル製ネジが溶融し、被接合体である2枚の板を外力を
かけないときよりも効率よく解体できた。本実施例で
は、振動力を加える方向は2枚の板の厚さ方向とした。
なお、このネジは、高周波磁界や電界をかけない通常時
にはドライバーやペンチでの取り付け、取り外しが可能
である。
【0021】(実施例4)エポキシ樹脂製の板とガラス
製の板をカーボンブラックを含有するポリカーボネード
製のネジで接合し、これに高周波磁界および高周波電界
を加えた。前記エポキシ樹脂製板およびガラス製板とし
ては、縦30mm、横30mm、厚さ3mmの板を使用し、こ
の中央に直径5mmのネジ穴を設けた。接合部材として
は、加熱助剤として平均粒径0.05μm のカーボンブ
ラックを5重量%含むポリカーボネード製のネジを使用
した。このネジの接合部の直径は5mm、接合部の長さは
6mm、ネジの頭部の直径は8mmとした。高周波磁界およ
び高周波電界は、出力1.5kW、出力周波数2.45
GHzの業務用電子レンジによって発生させた。なお、
ここで発生する高周波磁界および高周波電界は、通常マ
イクロ波と呼ばれる周波数領域の電磁波のことを指す。
ポリカーボネード製ネジで接合された、エポキシ樹脂製
板とガラス製板を電子レンジの加熱部の中央に設置し、
高周波磁界および高周波電界を連続的に加えたところ、
8秒後にポリカーボネード製ネジが溶融した。この状態
でも重力によって解体するが、次いで外力として衝撃エ
ネルギー1.2J/cm2 の衝撃力を2枚の板の側面から
加えたところ、被接合体である2枚の板をより効率よく
解体できた。なお、このネジは、高周波磁界や電界をか
けない通常時にはドライバーやペンチでの取り付け、取
り外しが可能である。
【0022】(実施例5)2枚のフェノール樹脂製の板
をチタン酸バリウムの粉末を含有するアクリルニトリル
−ブタジエン−スチレン共重合体(以下ABS樹脂と称
する)のリベットで接合し、これに高周波電界を加え
た。フェノール樹脂製板としては、縦30mm、横30m
m、厚さ3mmの板を使用し、この中央に直径5mmの穴を
設けた。接合部材としては、加熱助剤として平均粒径3
0μm のチタン酸バリウムを5重量%含む、ABS樹脂
製のリベットを使用した。このリベットの接合部の直径
は5mm、接合部の長さは6mm、リベットの頭部の直径は
8mmとした。高周波電界は、2枚の対向する電極板に高
周波出力装置を接続して発生させた。電極板としては、
縦50mm、横50mm、厚さ3mmの鉄製板を使用し、2枚
の電極板の間隔は10mmとした。高周波出力装置として
は、高周波出力が2kW、出力周波数が13.6MHz
のものを用いた。ABS樹脂製リベットで接合された2
枚のフェノール樹脂製板を2枚の電極板の間に設置し、
高周波発生装置を用いて高周波電界を連続的に加えたと
ころ、34秒後にABS樹脂が溶融した。この状態でも
重力によって解体するが、次いで、外力として2.6k
gf/cm2 の引っ張り力を2枚の板に加えたところ、被
接合体である2枚の板をより効率よく解体できた。本実
施例では、引っ張り力を加える方向を2枚の板の厚さ方
向とした。
【0023】以上、本発明の実施例から明らかなよう
に、本発明によれば、従来解体が困難であった接合部材
を効率よく解体することができる。しかも接合部材に高
周波磁界や高周波電界を加えなければ、従来の接合部材
と同様に取り扱うことができる。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、高周波磁界や高周波電
界を用いることにより、立体的配置のために工具等が使
用できない場合でも容易に接合体を解体することができ
る。しかも高周波磁界や高周波電界を加えなければ、本
発明はネジや、ボルトおよびナットのような形状の接合
部材であるので、従来の接合部材と同様な取り扱い(取
り付け、取り外しが可能)を行え、不良部品や不良基材
の交換等の補修が可能である。したがって、例えば、電
気製品の場合、製品を製造する際には従来の組立工程を
そのまま使用でき、リサイクルを行う場合には高周波磁
界や高周波電界を加えることで、容易に解体を行うこと
ができる。
【0025】更に、加熱助剤や母材の選択、高周波磁界
や高周波電界を加える時間によって解体箇所をコントロ
ールできるため、同じ材質の部品または基材ごとに容易
に回収でき、それぞれの材質にあったリサイクル技術を
選定でき、その結果リサイクル率が大幅に向上する。こ
れにより、有価物を多く含んだ部品または基材を効率よ
く回収でき、また部品や基材に有害物が使用されている
場合には、有害物のみ選択的に除去することが容易にな
るので、有価物が有害物で汚染されることがない。
【0026】以上のように本発明によれば、接合部材で
接合された接合部材を容易に解体できるので、その後の
リサイクルを効率よく行うことができる。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 部品と部品、または部品と基材、または
    基材と基材とが加熱助剤を含有する複合材料からなる接
    合部材で接合された接合体の解体方法であって、 前記接合部材に高周波磁界、または高周波電界、または
    高周波磁界と高周波電界の両方を加える工程を有するこ
    とを特徴とする接合部材で接合された接合体の解体方
    法。
  2. 【請求項2】 部品と部品、または部品と基材、または
    基材と基材とが加熱助剤を含有する複合材料からなる接
    合部材で接合された接合体の解体方法であって、 前記接合部材に高周波磁界、または高周波電界、または
    高周波磁界と高周波電界の両方を加える工程と、 衝撃力と引っ張り力と振動力の内の少なくともいずれか
    の力を含む外力を、前記接合部材と前記部品と前記基材
    の内の少なくともいずれかの部分に加える工程とを有す
    ることを特徴とする接合部材で接合された接合体の解体
    方法。
