Abstract
Description
-ISO760に準拠して0.5%未満の残留湿分(含水量),
-0.3~0.9g/cm3の嵩密度,
-1.5%未満の水溶解度(25℃で水中10%の懸濁液),
-40mPas未満の粘度(Brookfield DV3T,速度50rpm,スピンドル1),
-レーザー回析により測定して1~50μmの粒径d50,
-レーザー回析により測定して10~60μmの粒径d90,
-4~8のpH値(25℃で水中10%の懸濁液),を有する。
5~69.4重量%のフィルム形成バインダー,
5~25重量%の発泡剤,
5~40重量%の発泡体形成物質としての請求項1~10のいずれかの組成物,
5~25重量%の炭素形成物質,
5~40重量%の助剤および/または添加剤,
0.5~10重量%の増粘剤,
0.1~10重量%の湿潤剤および/または分散剤,および
10~40重量%の溶媒および/または溶媒混合物,
を含む,ここで,上記成分の合計は100重量%である。
上記発泡剤は,メラミン,メラミン-ホルムアルデヒド縮合物,グアニジン,それらの塩,メラミン縮合生成物および/またはジシアンジアミドである;
上記炭素形成物質は,澱粉,加工澱粉,多価アルコール(ポリオール),例えば単糖類および多糖類,および/または,熱可塑性または熱硬化性ポリマー樹脂バインダー,例えばフェノール樹脂,尿素樹脂,ポリウレタン,ポリ塩化ビニル,ポリ(メタ)アクリレート,ポリ酢酸ビニル,ポリビニルアルコール,シリコーン樹脂および/またはゴムである;
上記助剤および添加剤は,ガラス繊維,鉱物繊維,金属繊維,炭素繊維,カオリン,タルク,酸化アルミニウム,水酸化アルミニウム,水酸化マグネシウムおよび他の金属酸化物,沈降シリカ,ケイ酸塩および/または粉砕セルロースである;
上記増粘剤および/またはレオロジー添加剤は,(変性)セルロース,シリカ,ベントナイト,ヒマシ油誘導体,脂肪誘導体,ポリアミド,ポリ(メタ)アクリレート,ポリアクリルアミド,ポリエーテル,ポリウレタン,ポリビニルアルコール,ポリビニルピロリドン,糖ポリマー,例えばアラビアゴム,アルギン酸塩,キサンタンゴムおよび/または寒天である;
上記湿潤剤および分散剤は,アルキルフェノールエトキシレート,ポリアクリル酸および/またはポリウレタンである;
上記有機溶媒および/または溶媒混合物は,芳香族炭化水素,好ましくはキシレンおよび/またはアルキルベンゼン,好ましくはトルエンおよびエチルベンゼン;アルコール,好ましくはメタノールおよび/またはアルカノール,好ましくは2-メチル-1-プロパノール;ケトン,例えばアセトンまたはブタノン,アルカンエステル,および/または,ポリエーテル,好ましくはポリグリコールエーテルである。
したがって,本発明に係る発泡性塗料組成物は,鋼構造物および他の物質,ならびに感熱性基材の効率的な保護に適している。
例えば,発泡性塗料は,火熱の影響を遅らせるために,様々な構造に適用することができる。この塗料は,塗料が適用されるそれぞれの基材の温度上昇速度を遅らせ,したがって,火熱による構造崩壊が起きるまでの時間を長くする。追加された時間で,消火および建物冷却がより可能となり,脱出時間を長くする。
さらに,フュームドシリカもしくは沈降シリカをベースとする,またはシラン化フュームドシリカもしくは沈降シリカをベースとするレオロジー添加剤を使用することができる。レオロジー添加剤は,好ましくは,ヒュームドシリカ,変性および未変性の層状ケイ酸塩,沈降シリカ,セルロースエーテル,多糖類,ポリウレタンおよびアクリル増粘剤,尿素誘導体,ヒマシ油誘導体,ポリアミド,脂肪酸アミドおよびポリオレフィンを含むが,ただし,それらは固体形態,粉砕セルロースおよび/または懸濁液媒体であって,例えばキサンタンガムである。
上記ポリマーは,好ましくは,炭化水素樹脂(例えばC5~C9)であってそれらの水素化修飾を含む炭化水素(例えば粘着付与樹脂)およびポリアルキレンとデンプンとの混合物である。
上記のポリアミドとポリオレフィン,オレフィンコポリマー,アイオノマーまたは化学的に結合もしくはグラフトしたエラストマーとのブロックコポリマー;または上記のポリアミドとポリエーテル,例えばポリエチレングリコール,ポリプロピレングリコールもしくはポリテトラメチレングリコールとのブロックコポリマー。更に,EPDMもしくはABSで変性されたポリアミドまたはコポリアミド;並びに加工中に縮合されたポリアミド(“RIM-ポリアミド系”)もある。
上記ポリマーは,好ましくは,ポリスルホン,ポリエーテルスルホンおよびポリエーテルケトンである。
上記ポリマーは,好ましくは,飽和および不飽和ジカルボン酸と多価アルコールのコポリエステル,および架橋剤としてのビニル化合物から誘導された不飽和ポリエステル樹脂,ならびにそれらのハロゲン含有の難燃性変性物である。
上記ポリマーは,好ましくは,メラミン樹脂,尿素樹脂,イソシアネート,イソシアヌレート,ポリイソシアネートまたはエポキシド樹脂で架橋されている,アルキド樹脂,ポリエステル樹脂およびアクリレート樹脂である。
本発明に係る混合物は,ランダム分布又は特定のパターン,例えばドットパターンで,可撓性の,特に繊維材料に適用できる。そのような繊維材料は,例えばホテル,劇場および会議場の内装において,および輸送モード(バス,電車,自動車,飛行機等)において使用される。
a)溶媒または溶媒混合物を最初に室温にし,攪拌しながらそれぞれの樹脂をその中に溶解させ,次いで,攪拌しながら,分散剤および任意で消泡剤のような塗料添加剤を添加する,
b)発泡体形成物質,発泡剤および炭素形成物質を,そして助剤および添加剤(例えば,二酸化チタン,繊維および充填剤)もまた,低速で撹拌しながら撒き入れる,
c)チキソトロープ剤を攪拌しながら撒き入れる,
d)50℃~60℃の温度を維持しながら,高せん断力で少なくとも25分間分散させる,
e)少なくとも5分間均一に分散させ,溶媒または溶媒混合物を添加して所望の粘度に仕上げる。
まず,ポリリン酸アンモニウムの混合物を,表1に示す通り,結晶相IIポリリン酸アンモニウムを,それぞれの量の結晶相Iポリリン酸アンモニウムと,タンブリングミキサー(Heidolph社製)中,320回転/分(rpm)で5時間混合して製造する。
純粋結晶相IIポリリン酸アンモニウムは例1で使用した。
純粋結晶相Iポリリン酸アンモニウムは例11で使用した。
このようにして得られた混合物は,表1に再現された特性を示す。
粘度
粘度の測定のために,例1~11のそれぞれの生成物の10重量%懸濁液を25℃水中で調製し,撹拌した。粘度は,Brookfield粘度計を用いてDIN ISO 2555(スピンドル61,100rpm)に準拠して測定した。
pH測定のために,例1~11のそれぞれの生成物の10重量%懸濁液を25℃の水中で調製し,5分間撹拌した。導電率は電位差測定法(Knick社製,703型コンダクターメーター)によって測定した。
pH測定のために,例1~11のそれぞれの生成物の10重量%懸濁液を25℃の水中で調製し,5分間撹拌した。pHは電位差測定法(Metrohm社製,LL Aquatrode Plus WOC)を用いて測定した。
酸価測定のために,例1~11のそれぞれの生成物の10重量%懸濁液を25℃の水中で調製し,5分間撹拌した。酸価は,ISO2114に準拠して測定した。

質量損失は,様々な方法で表すことができる:
1)質量損失2%の温度(℃)
2)300℃における質量損失(%)
結晶相混合物を用いて製造された発泡性塗料(例4および6)の耐火時間(乾燥層厚さ2000μm)の増加は観察されなかった。
発泡体特性はさらに,わずかな不均一性および安定性の低下を示した。特に,層が比較的厚い場合,これは,燃焼試験中に発泡体の剥離をもたらす可能性がある。
例1および4からの生成物を使用して,例12および13の溶媒系発泡性調合物を製造した。
例1のポリリン酸アンモニウムを用いて,以下の組成の発泡性調合物を製造した:
例1のポリリン酸アンモニウム 28重量部
樹脂(Omnova社,Pliolite(登録商標)Ultra100) 10重量部
メラミン(OCI社,Melafine(登録商標)) 8重量部
ペンタエリスリトール(Perstorp社,Charmor(登録商標)PT40) 8重量部
二酸化チタン(Cristal社,Tiona(登録商標)696) 9重量部
クロロパラフィン(Dover Chemicals社,Hordaresin(登録商標)NP70) 6重量部
増粘剤(Luvotix(登録商標)VP031),補助剤および添加剤(ブチルジグリコールアセテート(BDGA),Texanol(登録商標)),分散剤,塗料添加剤,溶媒(Shellsol(登録商標)100/140,キシレン) 100重量部
例1のポリリン酸アンモニウム28重量部ではなく,例4の相IIポリリン酸アンモニウム(85重量%)と相Iポリリン酸アンモニウム(15重量%)との混合物28重量部を使用したことを除いて,例12と同様の手順を行った。
a)溶媒を最初に室温にし,塗料添加剤(Disperbyk(登録商標)-2163,BYK社),攪拌しながら分散剤および任意で消泡剤が添加される,
b)低速で攪拌しながら,例1または4の各混合物,発泡剤,炭素源,二酸化チタン,充填剤を撒き入れ,次いでチキソトロープ剤を撒き入れる,
c)当該混合物を,30~70℃の温度に維持しながら,20~60分間高剪断力で分散させ,次いで,低剪断力で溶媒を添加することによって所望の粘度に仕上げる。
比較的低温域内における250℃での性能向上率は71%であった。
本発明に係る異なる結晶相のポリリン酸アンモニウムの混合物は,したがって,より即効性のある発泡性塗料の製造に優れた適合性を有し,材料効率が向上する。
Ultramid(登録商標)A3K(BASF社;ISO11357に準拠した融点:260℃)への適用:当ポリマーの臨界軟化温度260℃は,例12の発泡性調合物では21分後に到達したが,例13の本発明の発泡性調合物では35分後に到達した。したがって,本発明に係る発泡性調合物を使用する場合,耐火時間は67%長くなる。
Makrolon(登録商標)2205ポリカーボネート基材への適用(Covestro社;ISO11357に準拠した融点:300℃):
当ポリマーの300℃の臨界軟化温度は,例12の発泡性調合物では37分後に到達したが,例13の本発明の発泡性調合物では58分後に到達した。したがって,本発明による発泡性調合物を使用する場合,耐火時間は57%長くなる。
社内製造のガラス繊維充填複合基材(DICY硬化ビスフェノールAエポキシ樹脂)への適用:
当基材の320℃の臨界破壊温度は,例12の発泡性調合物では62分後に到達したが,例13の本発明に係る発泡性調合物では74分後に到達した。したがって,本発明に係る発泡性調合物が使用される場合,耐火時間は19%長くなる。
アルミニウム基材への適用
当基材の320℃の臨界軟化温度は,例12の発泡性調合物では62分後に到達したが,例13の本発明に係る発泡性調合物では74分後に到達した。したがって,本発明に係る発泡性調合物が使用される場合,耐火時間は19%長くなる。

Claims (18)
- 成分(A)として,0.1~99.9重量%の相IIポリリン酸アンモニウム,および,成分(B)として,0.1~99.9重量%の相Iおよび/または相III,IV,Vおよび/またはVIのポリリン酸アンモニウムを含む,ここで,上記成分の合計は100重量%である,組成物。
- 成分Aを60~99.9重量%,および成分Bを0.1~40重量%含む,請求項1の組成物。
- 成分Aを75~92重量%,および,成分Bを8~35重量%含む,請求項1または2の組成物。
- 成分Aは,相IIポリリン酸アンモニウムであり,成分Bは,相Iポリリン酸アンモニウムである,請求項1~3のいずれかの組成物。
- 成分Aは,式(NH4)n+2PnO3n+1(n=300~100,000)を有する相IIポリリン酸アンモニウムである,請求項1~4のいずれかの組成物。
- 成分Aは,式(NH4)n+2PnO3n+1(n=1,000~25,000)を有する相IIポリリン酸アンモニウムである,請求項1~5のいずれかの組成物。
- 成分Bは,式(NH4)n+2PnO3n+1(n=5~100)を有する相Iポリリン酸アンモニウムである,請求項1~6のいずれかの組成物。
- -ISO760に準拠して0.5%未満の残留湿分(含水量),
-0.3~0.9g/cm3の嵩密度,
-1.5%未満の水溶解度(25℃で水中10%の懸濁液),
-40mPas未満の粘度(Brookfield DV3T,速度50rpm,スピンドル1),
-レーザー回析により測定して5~50μmの粒径d50,
-レーザー回析により測定して10~60μmの粒径d90,
-4~8のpH値(25℃で水中10%の懸濁液),
を有する,請求項1~7のいずれかの組成物。 - 当該ポリリン酸アンモニウムは,有機官能性(ポリ)シラン,(ポリ)シロキサン,(ポリ)シラザン,変性ワックス,ポリウレタン,ポリエポキシド,尿素-ホルムアルデヒド樹脂,メラミン-ホルムアルデヒド樹脂,(メタ)アクリレート樹脂を,スチレン/アクリレートコポリマーを,ウレタンを,エチレン/酢酸ノニルコポリマーを,ゴムをベースとするエマルション,および/または,それらの混合物でマイクロカプセル化されている,請求項1~8のいずれかの組成物。
- 成分(A)および(B)の量に基づいて,多くとも10重量%の,硫酸アンモニウム,硫酸トリエチルアンモニウム,硫酸テトラメチルアンモニウム,硫酸トリメチルアンモニウム,硫酸ジメチル,硫酸ジエチル,硫酸ジプロピル,オクチル硫酸ナトリウム,デシル硫酸ナトリウム,オクタデシル硫酸ナトリウム,ラウリル硫酸,尿素硫酸,硫酸メラミン,硫酸ヒドロキシルアミン,硫酸ヒドラジン,硫酸カリウム,硫酸水素カリウム,硫酸ナトリウム,硫酸水素ナトリウム,硫酸マグネシウム,硫酸水素マグネシウム,硫酸カルシウム,硫酸水素カルシウム,硫酸バリウム,硫酸アルミニウムカリウム,硫酸アルミニウム,硫酸鉄(III),硫酸鉄(II),硫酸コバルト,硫酸チタン,硫酸亜鉛,硫酸スズ,硫酸セリウム,硫酸リチウム,メチル硫酸トリメチルスルホニウムまたはこれらの混合物をさらに含む,請求項1~9のいずれかの組成物。
- 発泡性塗料の反応開始温度を低下させるための,発泡性塗料の耐火性能を高めるための,クリアコートおよび発泡性塗料のための難燃剤としての,木材および他のセルロース製品のための難燃剤におけるもしくは難燃剤としての,ポリマー,ゲルコート,不飽和ポリエステル樹脂のための反応性および/または非反応性難燃剤におけるもしくは難燃剤としての,難燃性ポリマー成形材料の製造のための,難燃性ポリマー成形体の製造のための,ポリエステルおよびセルロース純紡および混紡布を含侵により難燃加工するための,ポリエステルおよびセルロース純紡および混紡布を難燃加工するための,ポリウレタン発泡物質における,ポリオレフィンにおける,不飽和ポリエステルおよびフェノール樹脂における,および,繊維を難燃加工するための,請求項1~10のいずれかの組成物の使用。
- プラグコネクタ,電力分配装置における電流接触部品(漏電遮断),回路基板,密封材,パワープラグ,回路遮断器,ランプハウジング,LEDランプハウジング,コンデンサハウジング,回路基板中もしくは回路基板上のコイル要素,ベンチレータ,接地線,プラグ,プラグハウジング,バッテリーハウジング,ケーブル,フレキシブル印刷回路基板,充電ケーブル,エンジンカバー,繊維コーティングおよび他の製品におけるまたはこれらのための,請求項1~10のいずれかの組成物の使用。
- 鋼,木,木材,紙,ミネラルウール,石膏ボード,プラスチック,金属,合金,合成もしくは天然繊維でできた織物および他の適切な材料上における,および/または,ソルダーレジストとしての,および,電気スイッチおよび回路用の,耐火塗料のための,請求項1~10のいずれかの組成物の使用。
- 例えば,綱梁および鋼製の支柱,天井,壁,ケーブル,パイプ,導管,ケーブルおよびコンビネーションバルクヘッド,ドア,カーテン,防煙垂れ壁,ブラインド,安全キャビネット,据え付けキャビネットおよび他の物品など,鋼構造物のコーティングのための,請求項1~10のいずれかの組成物の使用。
- フィルム形成バインダー,発泡剤,発泡体形成物質としての請求項1~10のいずれかの組成物,炭素形成物質,助剤および添加剤,および,任意で,増粘剤,分散剤,および,溶媒および/または溶媒混合物を含む耐火塗料。
- 5~69.4重量%のフィルム形成バインダー,
5~25重量%の発泡剤,
5~40重量%の発泡体形成物質としての請求項1~10のいずれかの組成物,
5~25重量%の炭素形成物質,
5~40重量%の助剤および添加剤,
0.5~10重量%の増粘剤,
0.1~10重量%の分散剤,および
10~40重量%の溶媒および/または溶媒混合物,
を含む,ここで,上記成分の合計は100重量%である,請求項15の耐火塗料。 - 上記フィルム形成バインダーは,スチレンおよびアクリル酸エステルをベースとするコポリマー,アクリル酸エステルをベースとするコポリマー,ビニルトルエン/アクリレートコポリマー,スチレン/アクリレートポリマー,酢酸ビニルをベースとするホモポリマー,酢酸ビニル,エチレンおよび塩化ビニルをベースとするコポリマー,酢酸ビニルおよび長鎖分岐状カルボン酸のビニルエステルをベースとするコポリマー,酢酸ビニルおよびマレイン酸ジ-n-ブチルエステルおよび/またはアクリル酸エステルをベースとするコポリマー,ビニル/アクリレートコポリマー,自己架橋ポリウレタン分散体,テルペンおよび/またはポリテルペンおよび/またはこれらの混合物を含む;上記発泡剤は,メラミン,メラミン-ホルムアルデヒド縮合物,グアニジン,それらの塩,メラミン縮合生成物および/またはジシアンジアミドである;上記炭素形成物質は,澱粉,加工澱粉,多価アルコール(ポリオール),例えば単糖類および多糖類,および/または,熱可塑性または熱硬化性ポリマー樹脂バインダー,例えばフェノール樹脂,尿素樹脂,ポリウレタン,ポリ塩化ビニル,ポリ(メタ)アクリレート,ポリ酢酸ビニル,ポリビニルアルコール,シリコーン樹脂および/またはゴムである;上記助剤および添加剤は,ガラス繊維,鉱物繊維,金属繊維,炭素繊維,カオリン,タルク,酸化アルミニウム,水酸化アルミニウム,水酸化マグネシウムおよび他の金属酸化物,沈降シリカ,ケイ酸塩および/または粉砕セルロースである;上記増粘剤および/またはレオロジー添加剤は,(変性)セルロース,シリカ,ベントナイト,ヒマシ油誘導体,脂肪誘導体,ポリアミド,ポリ(メタ)アクリレート,ポリアクリルアミド,ポリエーテル,ポリウレタン,ポリビニルアルコール,ポリビニルピロリドン,糖ポリマー,例えばアラビアゴム,アルギン酸塩,キサンタンゴムおよび/または寒天である;上記湿潤剤および分散剤は,アルキルフェノールエトキシレート,ポリアクリル酸および/またはポリウレタンである;上記有機溶媒および/または溶媒混合物は,芳香族炭化水素,好ましくはキシレンおよび/またはアルキルベンゼン,好ましくはトルエンおよびエチルベンゼン;アルコール,好ましくはメタノールおよび/またはアルカノール,好ましくは2-メチル-1-プロパノール;ケトン,例えばアセトンまたはブタノン,アルカンエステル,および/または,ポリエーテル,好ましくはポリグリコールエーテルである,請求項15または16の耐火塗料。
- 上記多価アルコールは,トリペンタエリスリトールおよび/またはペンタエリスリトールの重縮合物および/またはペンタエリスリトールベースエステルと多価アルコールの混合物,ポリ酢酸ビニル,ポリビニルアルコール,ソルビトール,および/または,エチレンオキシド-プロピレンオキシドポリオールである,請求項15~17のいずれかの耐火塗料。
