Abstract
Description
式中、Z1は出現毎に、独立して、ハロゲン、非置換または置換C1~12ヒドロカルビル(但し、ヒドロカルビル基は第三級ヒドロカルビルではない)、C1~12ヒドロカルビルチオ、C1~12ヒドロカルビルオキシ、またはC2~12ハロヒドロカルビルオキシ(ハロゲンおよび酸素原子は、少なくとも2つの炭素原子で隔てられている)であり、Z2は出現毎に、独立して、水素、ハロゲン、非置換または置換C1~12ヒドロカルビル(但し、ヒドロカルビル基は第三級ヒドロカルビルではない)、C1~12ヒドロカルビルチオ、C1~12ヒドロカルビルオキシ、またはC2~12ハロヒドロカルビルオキシ(ハロゲンおよび酸素原子は、少なくとも2つの炭素原子で隔てられている)である。ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)は、一般にヒドロキシ基に対してオルトの位置に、アミノアルキルを含む末端基を持つことができる。一例として、Z1は、酸化重合触媒のジ-n-ブチルアミン成分と、末端3,5-ジメチル-1,4-フェニル基との反応から生成した、ジ-n-ブチルアミノメチル基とすることができる。更に、しばしば存在するものは、一般に、2,6-ジメチルフェノールを含む反応混合物(テトラメチルジフェノキノン副生成物が存在する)から得られる、テトラメチルジフェノキノン(TMDQ)末端基である。ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)は、ホモポリマ、ランダム共重合体、グラフト共重合体、またはブロック共重合体の形、更にこれらの組み合わせとすることができる。ある態様において、ポリ(フェニレンエーテル)はホモポリマ、望ましくはポリ(2,6-ジメチル-1,4-フェニレンエーテル)である。
式中、R1およびR2はそれぞれ独立して、水素原子、C1~8アルキル基、またはC2~8アルケニル基を示し、R3およびR7はそれぞれ独立して、水素原子、C1~8アルキル基、塩素原子、または臭素原子を示し、R4、R5、およびR6はそれぞれ独立して、水素原子、C1~8アルキル基、またはC2~8アルケニル基を示し、あるいは、R4とR5が中央の芳香環と共にナフチル基を形成し、または、R5とR6が中央の芳香環と共にナフチル基を形成している。具体的なアルケニル芳香族モノマとしては、例えば、スチレン、クロロスチレン(p-クロロスチレンなど)、メチルスチレン(α-メチルスチレン、p-メチルスチレンなど)、t-ブチルスチレン(3-t-ブチルスチレン、4-t-ブチルスチレンなど)が挙げられる。ある態様において、アルケニル芳香族モノマはスチレンである。
実施例1-1から1-3の組成および特性を表4に示す。
実施例2-1から2-6の組成および特性を表5に示す。これらの実施例では、メルトフロー、衝撃性能、および吸水性に対する、異なるポリアミド負荷量の影響を調べる。
実施例3-1から3-8の組成および特性を表6に示す。これらの実施例では、特定の流動性促進剤、ビスフェノキシエタノールフルオレン(BPEF)の、メルトフロー、衝撃性能、および吸水性に対する影響を調べる。
実施例4-1から4-5の組成および特性を表7に示す。この試験の狙いは、高いメルトフローレートを持つポリスチレン(PS-1)とBPEF、およびステアリルエルカ酸アミドとBPEFの、様々な組み合わせの影響を調べることであった。
Claims (13)
- 組成物であって、
前記組成物が、
10から65質量%のポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、
30から70質量%の第1のポリアミドと、
1から10質量%の、アルケニル芳香族化合物と共役ジエンとの水素化ブロック共重合体と、
0.5から10質量%のビスフェノキシエタノールフルオレンと、
を含み、
それぞれの前記成分の質量%が、前記組成物の総質量に対してであり、
前記第1のポリアミドが、ポリアミド-6、ポリアミド-6,6、またはこれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1に記載の組成物であって、
前記第1のポリアミドがポリアミド-6であって、前記第1のポリアミドの存在量が50質量%以下であり、または、
前記第1のポリアミドがポリアミド-6,6であって、前記第1のポリアミドの存在量が60質量%以下である、
ことを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1または2に記載の組成物であって、
前記第1のポリアミドが、
75ミリ当量/kg未満、望ましくは40から70ミリ当量/kgのアミン末端基濃度、または、
85ミリ当量/kgより大きい、望ましくは90から115ミリ当量/kgのアミン末端基濃度、
を持つことを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の組成物であって、前記水素化ブロック共重合体が、ポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-ブチレン)-ポリスチレントリブロック共重合体、ポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-プロピレン)ジブロック共重合体、またはこれらの組み合わせであって、望ましくは、前記ポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-プロピレン)ジブロック共重合体が30から45質量%のスチレン含量を持つことを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の組成物であって、
前記組成物が、
ISO 179による測定で、5kJ/m2より大きいノッチ付きシャルピー衝撃強さ、
ISO 62による測定で、1%未満の吸水率、および、
ISO 1133による測定で、10cm3/10分より大きいメルトボリュームフローレート、
の特性の1つ以上を示すことを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の組成物であって、
前記組成物が更に、
1から10質量%のステアリルエルカ酸アミド、または、
1から30質量%のポリスチレンホモポリマ、
を含むことを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の組成物であって、
前記組成物が、
15から25質量%のポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、
45から55質量%の前記第1のポリアミドと、
1から10質量%の、アルケニル芳香族化合物と共役ジエンとの水素化ブロック共重合体と、
10から20質量%のポリスチレンホモポリマと、
0.5から5質量%のビスフェノキシエタノールフルオレンと、
を含み、
前記水素化ブロック共重合体が、ポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-ブチレン)-ポリスチレントリブロック共重合体とポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-プロピレン)ジブロック共重合体との組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の組成物であって、
前記組成物が、
25から35質量%のポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、
50から60質量%の前記第1のポリアミドと、
1から10質量%の、アルケニル芳香族化合物と共役ジエンとの水素化ブロック共重合体と、
0.5から10質量%のビスフェノキシエタノールフルオレンと、
を含み、
前記水素化ブロック共重合体が、ポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-ブチレン)-ポリスチレントリブロック共重合体とポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-プロピレン)ジブロック共重合体との組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の組成物であって、
前記組成物が、
10から40質量%のポリ(フェニレンエーテル)と、
40から55質量%の前記第1のポリアミドと、
1から10質量%の、アルケニル芳香族化合物と共役ジエンとの水素化ブロック共重合体と、
1から5質量%のステアリルエルカ酸アミドと、
0.5から5質量%のビスフェノキシエタノールフルオレンと、
を含み、
前記水素化ブロック共重合体が、ポリスチレン-ポリ(エチレン-プロピレン)ジブロック共重合体を含むことを特徴とする組成物。 - 請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の組成物であって、前記組成物が更に、0.1から10質量%の、1つ以上の添加剤を含むことを特徴とする組成物。
- 請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の組成物を製造する方法であって、前記製造する方法が、前記組成物の成分を溶融混合する工程を含むことを特徴とする製造法。
- 請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の組成物から作られた物品であって、望ましくは、前記物品が自動車部品であることを特徴とする物品。
- 強化熱可塑性複合材であって、
前記強化熱可塑性複合材が、
20から80質量%の、請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の組成物と、
20から80質量%の補強用炭素繊維と、
を含み、
前記質量%が、前記複合材の総質量に対してであることを特徴とする強化熱可塑性複合材。
