これら式中、nは、それぞれ独立に、1.0以上の数を表し、ICNは、それぞれ独立にジイソシアネートに由来する構造を表し、PODは、それぞれ独立に、9000以上の重量平均分子量を有する脂肪族ポリエーテルジオールに由来する構造を表し、POTは、それぞれ独立に、9000以上の重量平均分子量を有する脂肪族ポリエーテルトリオールに由来する構造を表し、Aは、それぞれ独立にエチレン性不飽和基含有イソシアネート反応性化合物に由来する構造を表し、R1は、それぞれ独立に脂肪族アルコールに由来する構造を表す。

式中、ICN、POD、POT、n及びR1は、上記と同義である。
[ウレタンオリゴマーの合成]
撹拌機を備えた反応容器に、重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールトリオール(AGC株式会社製、商品名PREMINOL S 3011)68.87g、2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート3.60g、2,6-ジ-t-ブチル-p-クレゾール0.018gをそれぞれ仕込み、これらを撹拌しながら液温度が40℃になるまで加温した。続いてジブチル錫ジラウレート0.020gを添加した後、撹拌しながら液温度を20分かけて60℃まで上げた。その後60分撹拌し、残留イソシアネート基濃度が1.20質量%(仕込み量に対する割合)以下となった後、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート1.33gを添加し、液温度70℃にて60分反応させた。残留イソシアネート基濃度が0.52質量%(仕込み量に対する割合)以下となった後、2-エチル-1-ヘキサノール1.20gを添加し、液温度70℃にて60分反応させた。残留イソシアネート基濃度が0.05質量%以下になった時を反応終了とした。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、下記式(I)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(I)及び下記式(II)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(II)を主成分とする混合物である。

HEA-TDI-PPT10000-(TDI-EH)2 (II)
(式中、PPT10000は、重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールトリオールに由来する構造単位であり、TDIは、2,4-トリレンジイソシアネートに由来する構造単位であり、HEAは、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレートに由来する構造単位であり、EHは、2-エチル-1-ヘキサノールに由来する構造単位である。結合手「-」は、全てウレタン結合である。)
ACMO:Acryloyl morphorine
ENPA:Ethoxylated nonylphenol acrylate
IBOA:Isobornyl acrylate
2-EHA:2-ethylhexylacrylate
NVC:N-Vinylcaprolactam
HDDA:1,6-Hexanediol diacrylate
TPO:2,4,6-Trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphineoxide
撹拌機を備えた反応容器に、重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオール(AGC株式会社製、商品名PREMINOL S 4011)70.84g、2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート3.29g、2,6-ジ-t-ブチル-p-クレゾール0.018gをそれぞれ仕込み、これらを撹拌しながら液温度が40℃になるまで加温した。続いてジブチル錫ジラウレート0.020gを添加した後、撹拌しながら液温度を20分かけて60℃まで上げた。その後60分撹拌し、残留イソシアネート基濃度が0.81質量%(仕込み量に対する割合)以下となった後、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート1.23gを添加し、液温度70℃にて60分反応させた。残留イソシアネート基濃度が0.20質量%(仕込み量に対する割合)以下となった後、2-エチル-1-ヘキサノール0.47gを添加し、液温度70℃にて60分反応させた。残留イソシアネート基濃度が0.05質量%以下になった時を反応終了とした。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、下記式(III)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(III)及び下記式(IV)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(IV)を主成分とする混合物である。
HEA-TDI-PPG10000-TDI-HEA (III)
HEA-TDI-PPG10000-TDI-EH (IV)
(式中、PPG10000は、重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールに由来する構造単位であり、TDI、HEA、EH及び結合手「-」は上記と同義である。)
各種成分の仕込み量の比率を変更したこと以外は、実施例6と同様にして、ウレタンオリゴマーを得た。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、式(III)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(III)及び式(IV)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(IV)を主成分とする混合物である。得られたウレタンオリゴマーを用いて表1に示す組成の実施例7の液状硬化性樹脂組成物を製造した。
重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールに代えて、重量平均分子量が3000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールを用いたこと、及び、各種成分の仕込み量の比率を変更したこと以外は、実施例6と同様にして、ウレタンオリゴマーを得た。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、下記式(V)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(V)及び下記式(VI)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(VI)を主成分とする混合物である。

HEA-(TDI-PPG3000)2.0-TDI-EH (VI)
(式中、PPG3000は、重量平均分子量が3000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールに由来する構造単位であり、TDI、HEA、EH及び結合手「-」は上記と同義である。)
撹拌機を備えた反応容器に、重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオール(AGC株式会社製、商品名 PREMINOL S 4011)70.86g、2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート2.49g、2,6-ジ-t-ブチル-p-クレゾール0.018gをそれぞれ仕込み、これらを撹拌しながら液温度が40℃になるまで加温した。続いてジブチル錫ジラウレート0.020gを添加した後、撹拌しながら液温度を20分かけて60℃まで上げた。その後60分撹拌し、残留イソシアネート基濃度が0.82質量%(仕込み量に対する割合)以下となった後、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート1.66gを添加し、液温度70℃にて60分反応させた。残留イソシアネート基濃度が0.05質量%以下になった時を反応終了とした。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、上記式(III)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(III)である。得られたウレタンオリゴマー(III)を用いて表2に示す組成の実施例8及び9の液状硬化性樹脂組成物を製造した。
重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールに代えて、重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールトリオールを用いたこと、及び、各種成分の仕込み量の比率を変更したこと以外は、実施例6と同様にして、ウレタンオリゴマーを得た。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、上記式(I)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(I)である。得られたウレタンオリゴマー(I)を用いて表2に示す組成の実施例10の液状硬化性樹脂組成物を製造した。
重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールに代えて、重量平均分子量が5000のポリプロピレングリコールトリオールを用いたこと、及び、各種成分の仕込み量の比率を変更したこと以外は、実施例8及び9と同様にして、ウレタンオリゴマーを得た。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、下記式(VII)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(VII)である。
HEA-TDI-PPT5000-(TDI-HEA)2 (VII)
(式中、PPT5000は、重量平均分子量が5000のポリプロピレングリコールトリオールに由来する構造単位であり、TDI、HEA及び結合手「-」は上記と同義である。)
得られたウレタンオリゴマー(VII)を用いて表2に示す組成の比較例2の液状硬化性樹脂組成物を製造した。
重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールに代えて、重量平均分子量が3000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールを用いたこと、及び、各種成分の仕込み量の比率を変更したこと以外は、実施例8及び9と同様にして、ウレタンオリゴマーを得た。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、下記式(VIII)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(VIII)である。
HEA-(TDI-PPG3000)3.0-TDI-HEA (VIII)
(式中、PPG3000、TDI、HEA及び結合手「-」は上記と同義である。)
得られたウレタンオリゴマー(VIII)を用いて表2に示す組成の比較例3の液状硬化性樹脂組成物を製造した。
重量平均分子量が10000のポリプロピレングリコールジオールに代えて、重量平均分子量が5000のポリプロピレングリコールトリオールを用いたこと、及び、各種成分の仕込み量の比率を変更したこと以外は、実施例6と同様にして、ウレタンオリゴマーを得た。得られたウレタンオリゴマーは、下記式(IX)で表されるウレタンオリゴマー(IX)である。

(式中、PPT5000、TDI、HEA、EH及び結合手「-」は上記と同義である。)
得られたウレタンオリゴマー(IX)を用いて表2に示す組成の比較例4の液状硬化性樹脂組成物を製造した。
(1)粘度:
実施例及び比較例で得られた組成物の25℃における粘度を、粘度計TV-10H(東機産業社製)で測定した。
実施例及び比較例で得られた組成物の硬化物の23℃及び-40℃でのヤング率を測定した。354μm厚のアプリケーターバーを用いてガラス板上に液状硬化性樹脂組成物を塗布し、これを空気中で1J/cm2のエネルギーの紫外線を照射して硬化させ、試験用フィルムを得た。この硬化フィルムから延伸部が幅6mm、長さ25mmとなるように短冊状サンプルを作成した。温度23℃、湿度50%の条件下で引張り試験機5542C4600(インストロンジャパン社製)を用い、JIS K7127に準拠して引張試験を行った。引張速度は1mm/minで、2.5%歪みでの抗張力から23℃でのヤング率を求めた。また、引張試験機を5567P5961(インストロンジャパン社製)に変更したこと及び温度を-40℃に変更したこと以外は同様にして引張試験を行い-40℃でのヤング率を求めた。なお、-40℃でのヤング率が30MPa以下である場合に、低温での柔軟性に優れると評価した。
354μm厚のアプリケーターバーを用いてガラス板上に液状硬化性樹脂組成物を塗布し、これに空気中で1J/cm2のエネルギーの紫外線を照射して硬化させ、試験用フィルムを得た。引張試験機(島津製作所社製、AG-IS)を用い、試験片の破断強度及び破断伸びを下記測定条件にて測定した。なお、破断強度が4.0MPa以上であり、破断伸びが220%以上である場合に機械強度に優れると評価した。

Claims (8)
- エチレン性不飽和基を有するウレタンオリゴマー、ラジカル重合性非ウレタンモノマー及び重合開始剤を含有する、光ファイバ第一次被覆層形成用の放射線硬化性樹脂組成物であって、
前記ウレタンオリゴマーとして、9000以上の重量平均分子量を有するポリエーテルポリオールと、ポリイソシアネートと、1個の活性水素基を含有するイソシアネート反応性化合物と、の反応物を、前記放射線硬化性樹脂組成物全量100質量%に対して、30質量%以上含み、
前記イソシアネート反応性化合物は、エチレン性不飽和基含有イソシアネート反応性化合物を含む、放射線硬化性樹脂組成物。 - 前記ポリエーテルポリオールが、ポリエーテルジオール又はポリエーテルトリオールである、請求項1に記載の放射線硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリエーテルポリオールが、ポリエーテルトリオールである、請求項1又は2に記載の放射線硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリエーテルポリオールが、脂肪族ポリエーテルポリオールである、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 前記反応物が、
前記ポリエーテルポリオールと前記ポリイソシアネートとの反応物と、前記イソシアネート反応性化合物と、の反応物、又は、
前記ポリイソシアネートと前記イソシアネート反応性化合物との反応物と、前記ポリエーテルポリオールと、の反応物である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性樹脂組成物。 - 前記イソシアネート反応性化合物が、脂肪族アルコールを更に含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の放射線硬化性樹脂組成物の硬化物。
- 請求項7に記載の硬化物からなる第一次被覆層を備える、光ファイバ。
