Claims (12)
- 複数のバッテリーセルが一方向へ積層されて形成されたセル積層体と、
前記セル積層体を収容する内部空間と、空気の流出入を許容する空気流入口及び空気流出口と、を備えるモジュールハウジングと、
前記モジュールハウジングの一側壁面に貫通して形成された弁設置ホールと、前記弁設置ホールの位置から前記モジュールハウジングの内部空間に向かうように配置される注水弁ノズルと、
前記モジュールハウジングの内部に備えられ、前記注水弁ノズルの作動時、水分を吸収することによって体積が膨張し、前記空気流入口、前記空気流出口及び前記弁設置ホールのうち少なくとも一つを閉塞する水膨張部材と、を含むことを特徴とする、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記水膨張部材は、
枠部の内側が空いた空間からなるフレーム状で設けられ、
前記空気流入口、前記空気流出口または前記弁設置ホールが形成されている前記モジュールハウジングの内側面に固定結合可能に設けられる不織布ホルダーと、
前記不織布ホルダーの内側表面に付着される超吸水性不織布と、を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記不織布ホルダーは四角のフレーム状で設けられ、前記超吸水性不織布は、前記不織布ホルダーの左側壁面及び右側壁面に一つずつ付着されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記不織布ホルダーの空いた空間が、前記空気流入口、前記空気流出口または前記弁設置ホールと連通することを特徴とする、請求項2または3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記不織布ホルダーの枠部は、前記空気流入口、前記空気流出口または前記弁設置ホールを囲んで前記モジュールハウジングの内側面に密着することを特徴とする、請求項2~4のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記水膨張部材は、前記空いた空間の前方と後方の少なくとも一箇所をカバーするように前記不織布ホルダーに結合する網をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2~5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記注水弁ノズルは、消火用水が吐出される経路を遮っているガラスバルブを含み、
前記ガラスバルブは、内部に液体を収容し、前記液体が一定温度以上で体積膨張して破裂するように設けられることを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記注水弁ノズルは、前記弁設置ホールを通じて前記モジュールハウジングの内部に挿入して配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記注水弁ノズルは、前記モジュールハウジングと一体型で前記モジュールハウジングの内部に配置され、
前記弁設置ホールは、前記注水弁ノズルの後端部の直径と対応するように形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - ラックハウジングと、
前記ラックハウジング内に層状に配列される請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の複数のバッテリーモジュールと、
前記ラックハウジングの内部または前記ラックハウジングの周辺に配置される水槽と、
前記水槽と各々のバッテリーモジュールを連結する配管と、
前記ラックハウジング内に設置され、複数のバッテリーモジュールのうち少なくとも一部で発生した熱暴走現象を感知する少なくとも一つのセンサーと、
前記センサーによって熱暴走現象が感知されると、前記配管から消火用水が前記バッテリーモジュールへ流入されるようにする制御信号を出力するコントローラと、を含むことを特徴とする、バッテリーラック。 - 前記配管に設けられる複数の制御弁をさらに含み、
前記複数の制御弁は各々、前記複数のバッテリーモジュールと隣接して設置され、前記複数のバッテリーモジュールへ流入する消火用水の流れを個別的に許容または遮断し、
前記センサーは、前記複数のバッテリーモジュールに各々設けられ、
前記コントローラは、前記複数の制御弁のうち前記センサーによって熱暴走現象が感知されたバッテリーモジュールと隣接して設けられた制御弁を開放するようにする制御信号を出力することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のバッテリーラック。 - 請求項10または11に記載のバッテリーラックを一つ以上含む、エネルギー貯蔵装置。
