- アノード側(31)および冷却剤側(32)を有するアノードプレート(30)であって、アノード流れ場(34)を形成するための第1の構造(33)がアノード側(31)に形成されたアノードプレート(30)と、カソード側(41)および冷却剤側(42)を有するカソードプレート(40)であって、カソード流れ場(44)を形成するための第2の構造(43)がカソード側(41)に形成されたカソードプレート(40)と、を備え、アノードプレート(30)およびカソードプレート(40)の各々の冷却剤側(32,42)と接触する複数の構造要素(51)が、アノードプレート(30)とカソードプレート(40)との間に配置されて、冷却剤流れ場(50)を形成し、
構造要素(51)が弾性材料からなる、燃料電池用のバイポーラプレート(12)。 - アノードプレート(30)およびカソードプレート(40)が、金属または導電性炭素ベースの材料、好ましくはグラファイト、またはグラファイトと炭素の複合材料からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51)が弾性ポリマからなり、少なくとも1つの構造要素が導電性であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51)が柱状であり、好ましくは長方形または楕円形の断面を有し、かつ互いに間隔を置いて配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- アノードプレート(30)の第1の構造(33)およびカソードプレート(40)の第2の構造(43)が、積層方向(S)に互いに上下に配置されるともに、構造要素(51)の断面積と少なくとも部分的に重なっていることを特徴とする、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51)が流路(52)を形成しながら規則的または不規則に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51)が少なくともアノードプレート(30)またはカソードプレート(40)によって固定される、または、構造要素(51)が、アノードプレート(30)上に配置されたまたはカソードプレート(40)に隣接して配置されたキャリアプレート(53)上に形成され、前記キャリアプレートが、アノードプレート(30)またはカソードプレート(40)に固定された、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- アノードプレート(30)および/またはカソードプレート(40)の構造(33,43)が柱状であることを特徴とする、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 2つのエンドプレート(18)の間に交互に配置された、膜電極アセンブリ(10)と、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)と、のスタックを備えた、燃料電池スタック(100)。
- 請求項9に記載の燃料電池スタック(100)を備えた車両。
