- アノード側(31)および冷却剤側(32)を有するとともに、アノード側(31)にアノード流れ場(34)を形成するための第1の構造(33)が形成されたアノード板(30)と、カソード側(41)および冷却剤側(42)を有するとともに、カソード側(41)にカソード流れ場(44)を形成するための第2の構造(43)が形成されたカソード板(40)と、を備え、アノード板(30)とカソード板(40)との間に冷却剤流れ場(50)を形成するための構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が配置された、燃料電池用のバイポーラプレート(12)であって、
構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が弾性材料で作られており、それらの構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が、冷却剤流れ場(50)の異なる領域に応じて異なる高さを有する、バイポーラプレート(12)。 - 構造要素(51a,51b,51c)の高さ(h)は、冷却剤流れ場(50)の領域における圧力負荷に反比例することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- アノード板(30)およびカソード板(40)が、金属または導電性カーボンベースの材料で作られ、好ましくはグラファイト、またはグラファイトおよびカーボンからなる複合材料で作られていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が、弾性ポリマで作られており、少なくとも一つの構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が導電性であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が柱状であり、好ましくは矩形または楕円形の断面を有し、かつ、互いに離間して配置されており、任意選択的にアノード板(30)およびカソード板(40)の少なくとも一方の構造(33,43)が柱状設計を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- アノード板(30)の第1の構造(33)およびカソード板(40)の第2の構造(43)が、積層方向(S)に互いの上に配置されるとともに、構造要素(51a,51b,51c)の断面領域と少なくとも部分的に交差することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が、流路(52)の形成のために規則的または不規則に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が、少なくともアノード板(30)またはカソード板(40)に固定され、または、構造要素(51a,51b,51c)が、アノード板(30)またはカソード板(40)のいずれかと接触するように配置された少なくとも一つの支持板(53)に形成され、前記支持板は、アノード板(30)またはカソード板(40)に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)。
- 2つのエンドプレート(18)の間に交互に配置された、膜電極アセンブリ(10)と、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のバイポーラプレート(12)と、のスタックを備えた燃料電池スタック(100)。
- 請求項9に記載の燃料電池スタック(100)を備えた燃料電池システムを有する車両。
