Abstract
Description
元素周期表へのいかなる参照も、CRC Press,Inc.によって1990-1991に発行されたときのものである。この表での元素群への参照は、群に番号を付けるための新しい表記法によるものである。
アミン基の官能基は、化合物に存在するアミノ基(-NH2基)の数である。アミン基の官能基は、ASTM D2074に従って測定される。
結合強度は、90°T型剥離試験に従って測定される。ラミネートは、T型剥離結合強度試験のために、23℃、相対湿度50%で90分、24時間(1日)、または7日間硬化させた後、幅15mmのストリップにカットされる。50Nの負荷セルを備えたThwing Albert(商標)QC-3A剥離テスターを使用して、室温(23℃)で4インチ/分の速度で第1の基材と第2の基材を剥離する。第1の基材と第2の基材が分離(剥離)するとき、引っ張っている間の力の平均を記録する。第1の基材または第2の基材が伸張または破壊した際に、最大の力または破壊時の力を記録する。3つのサンプルを試験し、平均的な「結合強度」を報告する。平均結合強度は、15ミリメートル(N/15mm)あたりのニュートンで報告される。
23cm×30.5cmのラミネートを折り重ねて、23cm×15.25cmの構造を提供し、この構造は第1の側面と第2の側面を有する。したがって、第1の側面および第2の側面はそれぞれ、同じラミネートから形成される。第1の側面の第2の基材(LDPEフィルム)は、第2の側面の第2の基材(LDPEフィルム)に接している。構造をペーパーカッターで12.7cmx17.8cmのサイズにカットする(第1の側面と第2の側面を分離する折り目を維持する)。この構造には、折り端と3つの開いた端を含む4つの端がある。開いた端のうちの2つはヒートシールされてパウチを形成する。ヒートシールは、177℃、1秒間、油圧276kPa(40Psi)で行われる。各例から2~3個のパウチが作成される。

プロセスは、ラミネートを形成するステップを含む。
第1の基材/接着剤層/第2の基材 構造(F)
本開示は、二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物を提供する。二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物は、(A)第1の基材への塗布に適したイソシアネート成分であって、イソシアネートプレポリマーを含有する、イソシアネート成分と、(B)第2の基材への塗布に適したイソシアネート反応性成分であって、アミン末端化合物を含有する、イソシアネート反応性成分と、含み、1.0~5.0のI:IR比を有する。
本開示は、ラミネートを提供する。ラミネートは、第1の基材と、第2の基材と、第1の基材と第2の基材との間の無溶剤接着剤層と、を含む。無溶剤接着剤層は、(A)イソシアネートプレポリマーを含むイソシアネート成分と、(B)アミン末端化合物を含むイソシアネート反応性成分と、を含む。
イソシアネート反応性成分の実施例A~Cおよびポリオール比較サンプルDはそれぞれ、表2の成分を窒素保護下で60℃の温度で60分間機械的ミキサー中で混合することにより調製される。表2に示されている量は、それぞれの成分の総重量に基づいた重量パーセントである。
イソシアネート成分が提供され、これは、イソシアネートプレポリマー(13.5重量%のNCO含有量および25℃で13,000cPの粘度を有するMDIプレポリマー)である。Prelam AL構造の箔表面に23℃の温度でイソシアネート成分を均一に塗布する。各サンプルのイソシアネートコート重量は1.0g/m2である。
イソシアネート成分が提供され、これは、イソシアネートプレポリマー(13.5重量%のNCO含有量および25℃で1,300cPの粘度を有するMDIプレポリマー)である。23℃のPETフィルム(92LBT PETフィルム)の表面にイソシアネート成分を均一に塗布する。各サンプルのコート重量は、1.0g/m2である。
比較サンプル4は、イソシアネート成分と、アミン末端化合物を含まないイソシアネート反応性成分(ポリオール比較サンプルD)とから形成された接着剤層を含む。Prelam AL/接着剤/LDPEフィルムのラミネートおよびPETフィルム/接着剤/LDPEフィルムのラミネートのそれぞれにおいて、比較サンプル4は、90分間の硬化後の0.05N/15mm未満の結合強度を呈する。その結果、比較サンプル4のPrelam AL/接着剤/LDPEフィルムのラミネートおよびPETフィルム/接着剤/LDPEフィルムのラミネートはそれぞれ、最初の90分間の硬化内で不十分な接着蓄積を呈する。
Claims (15)
- ラミネートを形成するためのプロセスであって、
(A)イソシアネート成分を第1の基材に均一に塗布することであって、前記イソシアネート成分が、イソシアネート化合物を含む、塗布することと、
(B)イソシアネート反応性成分を第2の基材に均一に塗布することであって、前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、アミン末端化合物を含む、塗布することと、
(C)前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材とを一緒にすることにより、前記イソシアネート成分と前記イソシアネート反応性成分とを混合し反応させて、前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材との間に接着剤組成物を形成することと、
(D)前記接着剤組成物を硬化させて、前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材とを結合させることと、
(E)前記ラミネートを形成することと、を含む、プロセス。 - ジアミン末端ポリエーテルを含む前記イソシアネート反応性成分を提供することを含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記イソシアネート反応性成分の総重量に基づいて、20重量%~100重量%の前記アミン末端化合物を含む前記イソシアネート反応性成分を提供することを含む、請求項1または2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アミン末端化合物およびポリオール化合物を含む前記イソシアネート反応性成分を提供することを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記アミン末端化合物、リン酸エステルポリオール、およびポリエーテルポリオールを含む、前記イソシアネート反応性成分を提供することを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 3重量%~25重量%のイソシアネート含有量を有するイソシアネートプレポリマーを含む、前記イソシアネート成分を提供することを含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 前記イソシアネート成分を、イソシアネートコート重量で前記第1の基材に塗布することと、
前記イソシアネート反応性成分をイソシアネート反応性コート重量で前記第2の基材に塗布することと、
前記イソシアネート反応性成分中のアミン基とヒドロキシル基との合計量に対する前記イソシアネート成分中のイソシアネート基のモル比を計算することにより、イソシアネート:イソシアネート反応性の化学量論比を判定することと、
イソシアネートコート重量およびアミン末端コート重量を調整して、1.0~5.0のイソシアネート:イソシアネート反応性の化学量論比を得ることと、を含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - 25℃で5,000cP~20,000cPの粘度の前記イソシアネート成分を塗布することと、
前記第1の基材上に、0.1g/m2~20g/m2のコート重量を有するイソシアネート成分層を形成することと、
25℃で1,000cP~20,000cPの粘度の前記イソシアネート反応性成分を塗布することと、
前記第2の基材上に、0.1g/m2~20g/m2の重量を有するイソシアネート反応性成分層を形成することと、を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - 前記接着剤組成物を、20℃~25℃の温度で60分間~10日間硬化させることを含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。
- 20℃~30℃の温度で、前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材とを一緒にすることと、
前記イソシアネート成分を前記イソシアネート反応性成分と接触させることと、
前記第1の基材および前記第2の基材に5psi~100psiの圧力を加えることと、を含む、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - (A)前記イソシアネート成分を前記第1の基材に均一に塗布することであって、前記第1の基材が、金属箔層を含む第1のフィルムを含む、塗布することと、
(B)前記イソシアネート反応性成分を前記第2の基材に均一に塗布することであって、前記第2の基材が、エチレン系ポリマー層を含む第2のフィルムを含む、塗布することと、
(D)前記接着剤組成物を15℃~50℃の温度で90分間硬化させることと、
(E)前記ラミネートを形成することであって、前記ラミネートが、0.05N/15mm超の結合強度を有する、形成することと、を含む、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - (A)前記イソシアネート成分を前記第1の基材に均一に塗布することであって、前記第1の基材が、ポリエチレンテレフタレート層を含む第1のフィルムを含む、塗布することと、
(B)前記イソシアネート反応性成分を前記第2の基材に均一に塗布することであって、前記第2の基材が、エチレン系ポリマー層を含む第2のフィルムを含む、塗布することと、
(D)前記接着剤組成物を20℃~25℃の温度で90分間硬化させることと、
(E)前記ラミネートを形成することであって、前記ラミネートが、0.05N/15mm超の結合強度を有する、形成することと、を含む、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のプロセス。 - 請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のプロセスによって形成された、ラミネート。
- 二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物であって、
(A)第1の基材への塗布に対して適合したイソシアネート成分であって、イソシアネートプレポリマーを含む、イソシアネート成分と、
(B)第2の基材への塗布に対して適合したイソシアネート反応性成分であって、アミン末端化合物を含む、イソシアネート反応性成分と、を含み、
1.0~5.0のイソシアネート:イソシアネート反応性の化学量論比を有する、二成分無溶剤接着剤組成物。 - ラミネートであって、
第1の基材と、
第2の基材と、
前記第1の基材と前記第2の基材との間の無溶剤接着剤層と、を含み、前記無溶剤接着剤層が、
(A)イソシアネートプレポリマーを含むイソシアネート成分と、
