RFX (I)
式中、Rは分岐鎖状又は非分岐鎖状のアルキル基、特にメチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基、イソプロピル基、イソブチル基又は高級アルキル基であり、このアルキル基は任意に第二級又は第三級炭素のいずれかの位置で1つ以上のフッ素原子によってハロゲン化されていてもよい。Xは飽和フルオロカーボン分子を得るために必要な原子数を最大とするフッ素原子の数である。
CxFy+SO3(発煙硫酸)→HSO3F+CO2+SO2 (R1)
ここで、x及びyは1から20の範囲の同一の又は異なる整数である。
i)30%から99%の濃度の発煙硫酸を準備する工程と、
ii)上記発煙硫酸を、フルオロアルカン、特にトリフルオロメタンと、高圧オートクレーブ又は実験用反応器において反応させる工程と、
iii)圧力を1バールから200バールに設定する工程と、
iv)ハロカーボンが1つのC原子を含む場合には任意に上述の過酸化物又は過酸化物塩を触媒として導入し、ハロカーボンのC原子の数が1より多い場合には化学量論的に導入する工程と、
v)反応混合物の温度を0℃から150℃まで、好ましくは55℃から100℃まで、より好ましくは60℃から70℃までに制御する工程と、
vi)必要に応じて、反応産物を、例えば蒸留又は抽出によって精製する工程と
を備えるプロセスによって達成される。

s 45.7(FSO3H)
s 161.5ppm(C6F6)ppm
MBCS:CDCl3中、13C:92.18、1H:6.14
CMCS:CDCl3中、13C:77.32、1H:5.96
MBCS:H2SO4中、13C:91.77、1H:6.07
CMCS:H2SO4中、13C:76.00、1H:5.86
MBCS及びCMCSは、反応混合物から抽出され得る。残留SO3をクエンチするため、反応混合物を水で注意深く処理した。次に、混合物をジクロロメタン(各抽出ごとに約3mL)で3回抽出した。PTFEシリンジフィルターを通して有機層を濾過し、純粋な生成物を得るためにすべての揮発分を大気圧下で蒸発させた。

-75,5(3F,dt,J=15.9;8.1Hz,CF3)
-236.4(1F,tq J=45.5;15.6,ppm,CH2F)ppm
発煙硫酸(Oleum)34中のR134についての1H(44MHz)-NMR:
4.77(2H,dq,J=45.1;8.1Hz,CH2F)
発煙硫酸(Oleum)34中のR1234yfについての19F{1H}(40.89MHz)-NMR:
br sと分光器の固有残留ピークとが約-74(br)ppmで重複する
収率:生成された全F含有生成物に対してFSO3Hが60%
Claims (16)
- ハロカーボン類を変換するための方法であって、ハロカーボンをSO3と反応させる方法。
- 上記SO3が発煙硫酸として存在する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンを三酸化硫黄と反応させて、対応するハロゲン化スルホン酸を生成することを特徴とする、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンが、少なくとも1つのH原子がハロゲンに置換された炭化水素類であり、上記炭化水素がアルカン、アルケン、アルキンから選択されることを特徴とし、上記炭化水素が直鎖状、分岐鎖状又は環状の、置換又は非置換炭化水素であり得る請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 三酸化硫黄とハロカーボンとの分子比が1から100の範囲、特に3から10の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4における1項又は複数項に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンを三酸化硫黄と0℃から200℃の温度で、特に80℃から125℃の温度で反応させることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項又は複数項に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンを三酸化硫黄と1バールから200バールの圧力で、特に10バールから40バールの圧力で反応させることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項又は複数項に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンが、アルカンのフッ素化誘導体、臭素化誘導体又は塩素化誘導体、特にフルオロアルカン、具体的にはCF3Hであることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項又は複数項に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンが単一又は複数のハロゲン原子を含み、上記ハロカーボンの炭素原子の1つ以上が1つ以上のハロゲン原子と結合している請求項1から請求項8のいずれか1項又は複数項に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンが、炭素数が1から20の範囲の分岐鎖状又は非分岐鎖状のアルカンのハロゲン化誘導体、特に炭素数が1から10の範囲の分岐鎖状又は非分岐鎖状のアルカンのハロゲン化誘導体であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項又は複数項に記載の方法。
- ハロカーボン及び発煙硫酸を含む上記反応の混合物に過酸化物を添加する請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 上記ハロカーボンが1つより多くのC原子を含む場合に化学量論的に上記過酸化物を添加し、上記ハロカーボンが1つのC原子を含む場合に準化学量論的に上記過酸化物を添加する請求項11に記載の方法。
- 上記反応の間に硫酸化中間体が生じる請求項1から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 上記反応の混合物から上記硫酸化中間体が分離され得る請求項13に記載の方法。
- ハロカーボン類のリサイクル又は処理における三酸化硫黄の使用。
- フルオロアルカン類、特にトリフルオロメタンのリサイクル又は処理において三酸化硫黄を使用することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の使用。
