Abstract
Description
指示されている場合を除き、全ての組成物は、Werner & Pfleiderer同方向回転二軸押出機(長さ/直径(L/D)比=30/1、ダイフェース付近に真空ポートを設置)で混和した。二軸押出機は、ポリマー組成物を良く混ぜ合わせるために十分な分配および分散混合要素を備えている。組成物を、285~330℃の温度で混和したが、本方法はこの温度範囲に限定されないことは明らかであろう。溶融物の流れが脈動しないようメルトポンプを利用し、25ミリメートル(mm)の単軸押出機を用いてフィルムを押出した。290~350℃の温度でダイ中の溶融物圧力が最適となるように、メルトポンプを調節した。ダイ間隙を100~300μmとした、450mm幅の垂直Tダイを通して溶融物を押し出した。溶融物カーテンを磨いた冷却ロール上に排出し、流れ方向に延伸して3~15μmの厚さとした。均一で一定したフィルム厚さとなるよう、メルトポンプの排出量と下流の装置の巻取り速度が釣り合うようにゲージを調整した。
フィルムの摩擦係数(CoF)を、ASTM D1894に従い、2つの面上、一方は、アルミニウムから作成した金属化200g Boppそり(63.5mm×63.5mmの面)、またはそれぞれの試料自体の上で測定した。パラメータは以下のとおりであった。(1)テーブルは強化ガラス(150mm×600mm)、(2)試験速度は150mm/秒、(3)試験伸長は50mm、(4)ロードセルは10N、(5)試料毎に5回測定、(6)Bluehill 3ソフトウェアを備えた Instron試験ラック。二軸延伸ポリプロピレン(BOPP、10mm)を裁断し、金属化面を下向きにして試料と接するようそりに取り付けた。フィルム試料は強化ガラステーブルに固定した。フィルム同士(Against Self):(1)フィルム試料を、ロール面の“外側”を下にしてそりに取り付けた。(2)フィルム試料を強化ガラステーブルに、ロール面の“内側”を上にして固定した。(3)トランスデューサからの初期ピーク負荷に基づいて静的CoFを計算した。(4)伸長の間の平均負荷から動的CoFを計算した。
図2は、様々な配合物に関する、測定Ra-I(y軸)と滑り性ランク(x軸)を示すグラフである。相関性があり、Ra-Iが大きくなると滑り性ランク付けが良くなることを示している。図3は、測定Rz-I(y軸)と滑り性ランク(x軸)を示すグラフである。Rz-Iが大きくなると滑り性ランク付けが良くなる。
実施例1~43の配合物および結果を表2~4に示す。別途指示のない限り、フィルムは7μmの厚さに押し出した。各成分の量は質量部である。
