Claims (17)
- 電気光学媒質であって、前記電気光学媒質は、バインダを備えている連続相と、電気光学材料を備えている不連続相とを備え、前記バインダは、25MPa未満のヤング率を有するエラストマを備えている、電気光学媒質。
- 前記電気光学材料は、複数の荷電粒子を備え、前記複数の荷電粒子は、懸濁流体内に分散させられており、前記懸濁流体への電場の印加時、前記懸濁流体を通って移動可能である、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記電気光学媒質は、カプセル内にカプセル化されている、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記エラストマは、ブロックコポリマである、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記ブロックコポリマは、スチレン−イソブチレン−スチレンポリマである、請求項4に記載の電気光学。
- 前記エラストマは、アクリルポリマである、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記バインダは、少なくとも2つのエラストマの混合物を備えている、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。

- 前記エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンモノマゴムは、エチレンプロピレンジエンターポリマ、エチレンオクテンコポリマ、エチレンブテンコポリマ、エチレンオクテンターポリマ、エチレンブテンターポリマ、エチレンビニルアセテート、およびエチレンメチルアクリレートから成る群から選択される、請求項8に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記エラストマは、10MPa未満のヤング率を有する、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記エラストマは、−125℃〜+20℃の範囲のガラス遷移温度を有する、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記バインダは、前記電気光学媒質の重量で少なくとも約20パーセント〜約50パーセントを備えている、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
- 前記バインダは、少なくとも1つの非エラストマポリマをさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の電気光学媒質。
