Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年6月27日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/690,663号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、その開示全体が本明細書に参照として組み込まれる。
断熱ガラス(IG)ユニットは、窓を介したエネルギー透過率を低減させるため、居住用建築物及び商用建築物において好適な窓である。当業者によって理解されるように、IGユニットを介してエネルギー透過率を低減させると、冬の間には建築物室内からの熱損失が低下し、夏の間には建築物室内への熱の移動が減少する。例えば、優れた光学特性を提供する特定のガラス組成物のいくつかが、米国特許第8,268,741号明細書、同6,313,053号明細書及び同4,792,536号明細書に記載され、その全体が参照として本明細書に組み込まれる。
以下の非限定例によって、本発明の非限定的な実施形態を例示する。表1に示す比較例C1〜C5、並びに表2及び表3に示す例1〜10を、本明細書に記載の連続的な板ガラス製造方法を用いて調製し、X線蛍光分光法によって各試料の最終的な組成を同定した。
国際標準化機構、”試験ISO 719”、[online]、インターネット<URL:https://www.iso.org/standard/4948.html>に記載される手順によって算出され、その全体が参照として本明細書に組み込まれる。ISO 719に従い、粒子寸法300〜500μmである各ガラス試料2gを、グレード2の脱イオン水50mL中に、98℃で60分間保持した。次いで、得られた溶液25mLを、0.01mol/LのHCl溶液を用いて、中和点まで滴定した。次いで、中和に必要とされるHClの体積を使用して、ガラスから抽出されたNa2Oの量を決定した。表1、2及び3の耐久性の行に示される値は、抽出されたNa2Oの量をμmで表し、その数値が低いと化学的耐久性が向上していることを表す。

- 前記ガラス組成物が0.10〜0.35のレドックス比を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
- 着色剤部分を更に含み、前記着色剤部分が、
CoOを30〜120ppmの範囲の量で、及び/又は
Seを7.5ppm以下の量で、
含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。 - 前記ガラス組成物が、ガラスシートに成形されるとき、以下の色度座標、−1.8〜−0.5のa*及び−5〜−8のb*によって表現される色を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物が、ガラスシートに成形されるとき、80%以下の可視光透過率を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物中の全鉄が、0.2〜0.8重量%の範囲である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物が、0.47〜0.60の範囲のレドックス比を有する、請求項1〜4及び10のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
- CoOを20ppm以下の量で、及び/又は
Seを3ppm以下の量で含む、
着色剤部分を更に含む、請求項1〜4及び10〜11のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。 - 前記ガラス組成物が、ガラスシートに成形されるとき、以下の色度座標、−11.75〜−12.25のa*及び−6.75〜−7.25のb*によって表現される色を有する、請求項1〜4及び10〜12のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
- 前記ガラス組成物が、ガラスシートに成形されるとき、80%以下の可視光透過率を有する、請求項1〜4及び10〜13のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
- 前記着色剤部分が、マンガン、スズ、セリウム、モリブデン、バナジウム、銅、亜鉛、タングステン及びランタンの酸化物、又はこれらの任意の組合せの少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のガラス組成物。
