Claims (9)
- 保管手段(1)を用いて昆虫の幼虫を水に保管する方法であって、
前記昆虫の幼虫と冷却媒体との混合物を前記保管手段(1)に供給するステップと、
前述の保管手段(1)の内容物中の冷却媒体の量を30重量%〜80重量%の間で制御するステップと、
前記保管手段(1)の前記内容物を15℃未満の温度に維持するステップと、
前記保管手段(1)に含まれる撹拌手段(50)により、前記保管手段(1)の前記内容物を撹拌するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 前記冷却媒体が水である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記保管手段(1)内の温度が、10℃未満、好ましくは7℃未満に維持される、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記保管手段(1)内の温度が、所望の温度の連続的な冷却媒体流を前記保管手段(1)に通して供給することにより制御される、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記保管手段(1)内の温度が、前記保管手段(1)に含まれる冷却手段(40)を使用して前記保管手段(1)を冷却することにより制御される、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 連続的な空気流が前記保管手段(1)内に供給される、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記昆虫の幼虫と前記冷却媒体との前記混合物を前記保管手段から排出するステップをさらに含む、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記幼虫を前記冷却媒体から分離し、前記昆虫の幼虫を処理するステップをさらに含む、請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記撹拌が、連続的に、周期的に、または不規則な手法で実施される、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
