Claims (30)

サムホイールの回転によって該バレルを移動させ、該バレル歯が該ベルト歯を係合し、該タイミング・ベルトを移動させ、該外側シースを移動させるように、該バレルに結合されたサムホイールと、を備えるデリバリー・デバイス。 - 前記デリバリー・デバイスは、ハウジングをさらに備え、前記サムホイールの一部は、該ハウジングの外部にあり、前記バレルは、該ハウジングの内部にあり、前記タイミング・ベルトは、該ハウジングの内部にある、請求項1に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。
- 前記ベルト歯は、前記タイミング・ベルトの外面上にある、請求項1に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。
- 前記デリバリー・デバイスは、少なくとも1つのプーリーをさらに備え、前記サムホイールの回転の方向が前記外側シースの所望の並進方向を与えるように、前記タイミング・ベルトは、該プーリーの周りに延在する、請求項1に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。

- 前記デリバリー・デバイスは、前記内側コアの外径で金属シャフトをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。
- 前記金属シャフトは、前記内側コアの前記外径に接合される、請求項9に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。
- 前記金属シャフトは、ステンレス鋼を備える、請求項9に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。

3つの同心のシャフトを有するカテーテルを備え、該3つの同心のシャフトは、
その上に該管内ステントを有する内側コアと、
その中の該内側コア上の拡張されていない状態の該管内ステントの上の外側シースであって、該外側シースは、拡張されていない状態の該管内ステントを保持し、該外側シースは、該内側コアおよび該管内ステントの上で同軸で並進可能である外側シースと、
該内側コアおよび該外側シースの上に少なくとも部分的に延在する外側サポート・シャフトと、を含み、
該デリバリー・デバイスは、
タイミング・ベルトの表面上の複数のベルト歯を有するタイミング・ベルトと、
タイミング・ベルト・リンクの移動によって該外側シースを移動させ、該管内ステントを露出させるように、該外側シースに結合されたタイミング・ベルト・リンクと、
ベルト歯に対応するバレル歯を有するバレルと、
サムホイールの回転によって該バレルを移動させ、該バレル歯が該ベルト歯を係合し、該タイミング・ベルトを移動させ、該外側シースを移動させるように、該バレルに結合されたサムホイールと、を備えるデリバリー用システム。 - 前記デリバリー・デバイスは、ハウジングをさらに備え、前記サムホイールの一部は、該ハウジングの外部にあり、前記バレルは、該ハウジングの内部にあり、前記タイミング・ベルトは、該ハウジングの内部にある、請求項13に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。
- 前記ベルト歯は、前記タイミング・ベルトの外面上にある、請求項13に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。
- 前記デリバリー・デバイスは、少なくとも1つのプーリーをさらに備え、前記サムホイールの回転の方向が前記外側シースの所望の並進方向を与えるように、前記タイミング・ベルトは、該プーリーの周りに延在する、請求項13に記載のデリバリー・デバイス。

- デリバリー・デバイスを用いて医療装置を体にデリバリーする方法であって、
該デリバリー・デバイスは、内側コア、該内側コアの上の外側シースおよび外側サポート・シャフトを含む3つの同心のシャフトを有するカテーテルと、タイミング・ベルトの表面上の複数のベルト歯を有するタイミング・ベルトと、タイミング・ベルト・リンクの移動によって該外側シースの移動が生じるように、該外側シースに結合されたタイミング・ベルト・リンクと、ベルト歯に対応するバレル歯を有するバレルと、サムホイールの回転によって該バレルを移動させ、該バレル歯が該ベルト歯を係合し、該タイミング・ベルトを移動させ、該外側シースを移動させるように、該バレルに結合されたサムホイールと、該内側コアの外径の上の医療装置と、を備え、該方法は、
該サムホイールを所定の方向に回転し、該タイミング・ベルトを、サムホイールの回転の該所定の方向に関連付けられた方向に移動させ、該タイミング・ベルト・リンクに、該外側シースを所望の方向に移動させることと、
該外側シースが該所望の方向に移動するとき、該内側コアの遠位端から該体まで該医療装置を配置することと、を含む方法。 - 前記3つの同心のシャフトは、
その上の医療装置を受け取るようなサイズを有する前記内側コアと、
その中の前記内側コア上の拡張されていない状態の該医療装置を受け取るとともに、該医療装置を保持するようなサイズを有する前記外側シースであって、前記内側コアの上で同軸で並進可能な前記外側シースと、
前記内側コアおよび前記外側シースの上で少なくとも部分的に延在する前記外側サポート・シャフトと、を備える、請求項24に記載の方法。 - 前記内側コアおよび前記外側サポート・シャフトは、前記デリバリー・デバイスの近位端に対して固定される、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記内側コアの外径で金属シャフトをさらに備える、請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記金属シャフトは、前記内側コアの前記外径に接合される、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記金属シャフトは、ステンレス鋼を備える、請求項27に記載の方法。
