Abstract
Description
この開示は、一般に、セメント質ボード用の補強層に関する。
建設業界で有用なセメント質ボードには、改質セメントや石膏などの無機の水硬性材料が含まれていることが知られている。いったん硬化した石膏とセメントは、引張強度が非常に低く、通常は引張りおよび曲げ荷重に対する耐性を向上させる外装材で補強される。これは、従来の石膏ウォールボードの表面に紙を使用したり、セメント質ボード中にグラスファイバースクリムを使用したりするための基礎となっている。

Claims (15)
- 耐アルカリ性生地および非多孔質膜を含む、セメント質ボード用の補強層。
- 非多孔質膜が少なくとも1つの連続ポリマーフィルムを含む、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- 少なくとも1つの連続ポリマーフィルムがポリオレフィンを含む、請求項2に記載の補強層。
- 前記非多孔質膜が、ASTM E49方法Eによって測定した時に、約0.5パーム未満の水蒸気透過性を有する、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- 補強層が少なくとも1つの不織マットをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- 不織マットがポリマー繊維を含む、請求項5に記載の補強層。
- 前記少なくとも1つの連続ポリマーフィルムが、少なくとも1つの不織マットに直接接触している、請求項5に記載の補強層。
- 非多孔質膜が少なくとも約3ミルの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- 耐アルカリ性生地が非多孔質膜に隣接している、請求項5に記載の補強層。
- 耐アルカリ性生地と直接接触する不織マットをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- 前記耐アルカリ性生地が、ポリエステル、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリプロピレン、耐アルカリ性ガラス、またはそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- 耐アルカリ性生地が、スクリム、織布、編組生地、編物、又はそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- 前記補強層が、セメント質コアの少なくとも1つの面上に配置される、請求項1に記載の補強層。
- (a)セメント質コア;及び
(b)セメント質コアの少なくとも1つの面上に配置された補強層であって、耐アルカリ性生地および非多孔質膜を含む補強層:
を含む、セメント質ボード。 - セメント質ボードの製造方法であって、
(a)耐アルカリ性生地および非多孔質膜を含む補強層を提供すること;
(b)補強層上にセメント質スラリーを堆積させること;及び
(C)セメント質スラリー及び補強層を、セメント質ボードに成形すること:
を含む、前記の方法。
