Abstract
Description
本願は、2017年11月16日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/587,337号及び2018年7月3日出願の米国仮特許出願第62/693,810号の利益を請求する。これら出願の全体的な内容は参照により本明細書に援用する。
Claims (20)
- 患者を評価する方法であって、モニタリングのために選択した身体の場所の初回SEMスキャンを実行するステップと、患者を、複数のリスク分類を含む群から選択されるあるリスク分類に割り当てるステップであって、当該割り当ては前記身体の場所の前記初回SEMスキャンに一部基づくものである、割り当てるステップとを含む、方法。
- 前記初回SEMスキャンから前記身体の場所に関する初回デルタ値を算出するステップと、前記初回デルタ値が第一の閾値より大きければ、生じ得る損傷が前記身体の場所にあると判断するステップとをさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記患者をあるリスク分類に割り当てるステップは、前記初回デルタ値に一部基づく、請求項2記載の方法。
- デルタ値が第二の閾値未満であれば、介入を実施しないステップをさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- デルタ値が第二の閾値以上であれば、介入を実施するステップをさらに含む、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記介入は、前記身体の場所に一部基づいて、かつ、前記デルタ値に一部基づいて、選択される、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記介入は、標準マットレス、高性能マットレス、低摩擦シートカバー、低摩擦パッドのマットレス面、シリコーンパッド、ドレッシング材、ヒールブーツ(heel boot)、保護用クリーム、灌流を高める外用クリーム、第一の間隔で前記患者を体位変換すること、及び第一の間隔よりも短い第二の間隔で前記患者を体位変換することを含む群から選択される、請求項6記載の方法。
- 第一の時間間隔で、生じ得る損傷を有するとして前記初回SEMスキャンで特定された身体の場所のSEMスキャンを実行するステップと、
前記第一の時間間隔よりも長い第二の時間間隔で、モニタリングするために選択された全ての身体の場所のSEMスキャンを実行するステップと、
前記SEMスキャンのそれぞれについてデルタ値を算出するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記第一の時間間隔及び前記第二の時間間隔は、割り当てられた前記リスク分類に依存する、請求項8記載の方法。
- 第二の閾値未満であるデルタ値を有する身体の場所に対して介入を実施しないステップをさらに含む、請求項8記載の方法。
- 第二の閾値以上であるデルタ値を有する身体の場所に対して介入を実施するテップをさらに含む、請求項8記載の方法。
- 従前のSEMスキャンについてデルタ値を算出して第一の閾値を確立するステップと、従前のSEMスキャンにおける第一の閾値以上のデルタ値を有した身体の場所のSEMスキャンを第一の時間間隔で実行するステップと、前記第一の時間間隔よりも短い第二の時間間隔で、従前のSEMスキャンにおける前記第一の閾値より大きい第二の閾値以上のデルタ値を有した身体の場所のSEMスキャンを実行するステップとをさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記リスク分類の群は、低リスクの分類及びリスク有りの分類を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記リスク分類の群は、高リスクの分類をさらに含む、請求項13記載の方法。
- 初回SEMスキャンを実行するステップは、前記患者の初回リスク評価を実行することを含み、
前記リスク分類の選択は、前記初回リスク評価の結果に一部基づく、請求項1記載の方法。 - 患者のケアを管理する方法であって、
入所時に、前記患者の初回評価と、モニタリングのために選択した全ての身体の場所の初回SEMスキャンとを実行するステップと、
モニタリングのために選択した身体の場所それぞれについて初回デルタ値を算出するステップと、
いずれかの初回デルタ値が第一の閾値以上であれば患者が逸脱しているものと判断して介入レベルをN=1に設定するステップと、
前記第一の閾値以上のデルタ値を有する身体の場所それぞれに対して、レベル−Nの介入を実施するステップと、
レベル−Nの頻度で全ての身体の場所のSEMスキャンを実行して新規デルタ値を算出するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 介入レベルをNからN+1に上げるステップと、N+1の介入を実施するステップと、同一の身体の場所において、いずれかの新規デルタ値が従前のデルタ値以上であれば、N+1の頻度でSEMスキャンを実行するステップとをさらに含む、請求項16記載の方法。
- 同一の身体の場所において、前記第一の閾値を上回る新規デルタ値の全てが、それぞれの従前のデルタ値未満であれば、Nの介入を継続して、Nの頻度でSEMスキャンを実行するステップをさらに含む、請求項16記載の方法。
- 新規デルタ値の全てが、前記第一の閾値より小さい第二の閾値未満であれば、N−1の頻度でSEMスキャンを実行するステップをさらに含む、請求項16記載の方法。
- 患者が転所又は退所となる場合に、
モニタリングのために選択した全ての身体の場所の最後の組のSEMスキャンを実行するステップと、スキャンされた身体の場所それぞれに対して、最後の組のデルタ値を算出するステップと、前記最後の組のデルタ値を文書化するステップとを実行する、請求項16記載の方法。
