Claims (14)
- 熱防護用途のための布地であって、5〜40重量%のPBI−p繊維、および残部は通常の繊維を含み、当該布地は、布地重量が前記PBI−p繊維の代わりに同様の量のPBI−s繊維を用いて製造された等価な布地と比べて同等またはより良好な難燃性および/または耐熱性、およびより少ない布地重量損失を有する、前記布地。
- 前記布地が、1.0〜6.5オンス/平方ヤードの範囲の重量を有する、請求項1に記載の布地。
- 前記熱防護用途が、消防士の出動服、テント、アークフラッシュ防護服、自動車用途、自動車用服、宇宙服、宇宙船、および電子装置を含む、請求項1に記載の布地。
- 前記布地が、織布、編布、または不織布である、請求項1に記載の布地。
- 前記通常の繊維が、綿、羊毛、ポリオレフィン、ポリアミド、アクリル、ポリエステル、アラミド、セルロース系、炭素、ポリベンズオキサゾール、メラミン、ポリアミドイミド、ポリイミド、ポリフェニルスルフィド、ポリフルオライド、ポリエーテルケトン、およびそれらの組み合わせおよび配合物を含む材料から製造される、請求項1に記載の布地。
- 難燃性が、動的な炎、垂直炎(ASTM D6413);熱防護性能(NFPA1971/ISO17492);TPP曝露後(ISO17492)ボールバースト(ASTM D3787);およびそれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の布地。
- 耐熱性が、熱収縮(ASTM F2894/ISO17493)およびその組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の布地。
- 熱防護用途のための布地であって、5〜40重量%のPBI−p繊維とPBI−s繊維との配合物、および残部が通常の繊維を含み、
前記布地は、前記PBI−p繊維の代わりに同様の量のPBI−s繊維を用いて製造された等価な布地と比べて同等またはより良好な難燃性、および/または耐熱性、およびより少ない布地重量損失を有する、
