Abstract
Description
本発明に一致する仕上げ組成物で処理された種々の布地の実施例を表Iに記載する。布地は全て、リング紡績ヤーンを含む織布防護布地である。布地1〜3は、消防署のアウターシェル布地であり、布地4および5は、PBOを含有する消防署のアウターシェル布地であり、布地6は軍用防護布地である。
耐磨耗性は、H−18輪および各輪で500g荷重を用いるASTM D3884の繊維製品布地の耐磨耗性に関する標準試験方法(回転台、ダブルヘッド方法)に従って測定されており、その開示は参照によって本明細書に組み込まれる。
表Iの布地2のサンプルを、本発明の実施形態に従って布地仕上げ剤(特に表IIからの仕上げ組成物IIおよびIV−VI)で処理するか、または先行技術の仕上げ剤SSTで処理した。各布地サンプルを、H−18輪および各輪上の500g荷重を用いてASTM D3884に従って標準テーバー磨耗試験に供した。本発明に方法によれば、試料を圧力および磨耗動作を制御した条件下にて回転摩擦動作を用いて磨耗した。台に備え付けた試験試料を、2つの磨耗輪のスライド回転に対して垂直軸に向ける。1つの磨耗輪は周辺部に向かって外側の試料を擦り、他方は中央に向かって内側を擦る。得られた磨耗傷は、約30cm2の面積にわたって交差した弧のパターンを形成する。
Claims (20)
- 複数の難燃性繊維を含む防護布地であって、前記布地が、ASTM試験方法D3884に従って試験された場合に、最初の糸破断の前に少なくとも約1000サイクルの耐磨耗性を有し、および前記布地が、AATCC試験方法135に従って、10回洗濯された後にその耐磨耗性を保持する、防護布地。
- 前記耐磨耗性が、最初の糸破断の前に少なくとも約1500サイクルである、請求項1に記載の防護布地。
- 前記耐磨耗性が、最初の糸破断前に少なくとも約2500サイクルである、請求項2に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、NFPA1951、NFPA1971、NFPA1977、NFPA2112、軍用規格MIL−C−83429B、または軍用規格GL−PD−07−12の1つ以上の全ての難燃性要件を満たす、請求項1に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、AATCC試験方法135に従って、5回洗濯された後にその難燃特性を保持する、請求項4に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、NFPA1951、NFPA1971、NFPA1977、NFPA2112、軍用規格MIL−C−83429B、または軍用規格GL−PD−07−12の1つ以上の全ての撥水性要件を満たす、請求項1に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、AATCC試験方法135に従って、5回洗濯された後にその撥水特性を保持する、請求項1に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、AATCC試験方法22によって決定されるような、約100の水噴霧評価を含む撥水特性を有し、およびNFPA1971,8.26によって決定されるような、約1.0%以下の吸水性を有する、請求項1に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、AATCC試験方法22によって決定されるような、少なくとも約70の水噴霧評価を含む撥水特性を有し、およびNFPA1971,8.26によって決定されるような、約2.0%以下の吸水性を有し、前記布地が、AATCC試験方法135に従って、5回洗濯された後にその撥水特性を保持する、請求項1に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、ASTM試験方法D3512に従って試験された場合に、60分後に少なくとも4のピリング性評価を有し、および90分後に少なくとも3の評価を有する、請求項1に記載の防護布地。
- 前記ピリング性評価が、90分後に少なくとも4であり、および120分後に少なくとも3である、請求項10に記載の防護布地。
- 複数の難燃性繊維を含む防護布地であって、前記布地がポリマー耐磨耗性助剤、アルキルフルオロポリマー、およびポリエチレンを含む仕上げ剤を含み、前記布地が、耐磨耗性について前記仕上げ剤を含まない同じ布地のサンプルよりも少なくとも約100%の改善を示し、前記布地が、AATCC試験方法135に従って、10回洗濯された後にその耐磨耗性を保持する、防護布地。
- 前記布地が、ASTM試験方法D3884に従って試験された場合に、最初の糸破断の前に少なくとも約1000サイクルの耐磨耗性を有する、請求項12に記載の防護布地。
- 前記仕上げ剤がさらに、アルコキシル化脂肪族アミンまたはそれらの誘導体、メラミンホルムアルデヒド樹脂、N−メチロールステアラミド、またはこれらの組み合わせのうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項12に記載の防護布地。
- 前記仕上げ剤がさらに難燃剤を含む、請求項12に記載の防護布地。
- 前記難燃性繊維の少なくとも一部が、アラミド繊維、ポリベンズイミダゾール繊維、ポリベンゾオキサゾール繊維、メラミン繊維、ポリイミド繊維、ポリイミドアミド繊維、アクリル系繊維、またはFRレーヨン繊維の少なくとも1つを含む固有に難燃性の繊維である、請求項12に記載の防護布地。
- 前記難燃性繊維の少なくとも一部が、ナイロン繊維、セルロース系繊維、レーヨン繊維、綿繊維、アセテート繊維、トリアセテート繊維、またはリオセル繊維の少なくとも1つを含み、前記難燃性繊維の少なくとも一部が難燃剤で処理されている、請求項12に記載の防護布地。
- 前記布地が、平織布地、リップストップ、綾織、朱子織、または編物布地を含み、前記布地が伸縮性または非伸縮性である、請求項12に記載の防護布地。
- 請求項12に記載の防護布地を含む防護服。
- 前記布地が、ポリマー耐磨耗性助剤、アルキルフルオロポリマー、およびポリエチレンを含む仕上げ剤を含む、複数の難燃性繊維を含む防護布地。
