まず、搬送対象となるガラスフィルムについて説明する。図1は、搬送対象となるガラスフィルムを例示する模式図である。
次に、ガラスフィルム10の製造方法について説明する。図2は、本実施形態に係るガラスフィルムの製造方法を例示する工程フロー図である。図3〜図6は、本実施形態に係るガラスフィルムの製造工程を例示する模式図である。

Claims (9)
- 送り出しロールに巻かれた長尺状のガラスフィルムを複数の工程を経由して巻き取りロールで巻き取るロールツーロールプロセスを用いたガラスフィルムの製造方法であって、
前記複数の工程は、
前記ガラスフィルムを幅方向の所定位置で搬送方向に沿って割断する工程と、
割断された前記ガラスフィルムの割断面を研磨する工程と、を有することを特徴とするガラスフィルムの製造方法。 - 前記研磨する工程は、前記割断する工程の次工程であり、
前記ガラスフィルムの割断が開始される位置と、前記ガラスフィルムの研磨が開始される位置との距離が0.5m以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。 - 前記割断する工程の次工程として、前記割断する工程と前記研磨する工程との間に、割断された前記ガラスフィルムを洗浄する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。
- 前記ガラスフィルムの割断が開始される位置と、前記ガラスフィルムの洗浄が開始される位置との距離が0.5m以上であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。
- 前記研磨する工程よりも後に、割断された前記ガラスフィルムの一方と、割断された前記ガラスフィルムの他方を、高さ方向の異なる位置で搬送することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。
- 前記研磨する工程では、化学的研磨を行うことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。
- 前記化学的研磨では、フッ酸を含む研磨液を用いることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。
- 前記ガラスフィルムの片面の幅方向両端近傍に、前記ガラスフィルムの長手方向に沿って線状の補強材が設けられ、
前記ガラスフィルムの前記補強材が設けられた領域は、前記割断する工程において除去されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の何れか一項に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。 - 前記ガラスフィルムの厚みが30μm以上150μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8の何れか一項に記載のガラスフィルムの製造方法。
