Description
Claims (36)
- 電動コンビニエンス輸送機器(ECV)であって、
フレームと、
前記フレームを支持および移動するように構成された複数の車輪と、
前記ECVを操作する際にユーザが位置する前記フレームによって支持されるユーザ支持部材と、
前記ECVの前部に向けて配置され、少なくとも1つの車輪の方向をユーザが回転させて前記ECVの移動方向を制御できるように構成されたステアリング機構と、
少なくとも1つの車輪を前方に推進、後方に推進、または固定位置に留めるように構成されたモータと、
第1の位置で作動すると、前記モータに前記少なくとも1つの車輪を前進方向に推進させ、第2の位置で作動すると、前記モータに前記少なくとも1つの車輪を後退方向に推進させ、第3の位置では、前記モータに前記少なくとも1つの車輪を固定位置に維持させる、スロットルと、
前記ユーザ支持部材の前に配置され、通信ネットワークを介して通信するように構成された制御および通信ユニット(CCU)と、を備えるECV。 - 前記ECVは、前記ECVの進行方向の前方の物体を検出するように向けられ、前記少なくとも1つのセンサによって感知されている物体を示す感知信号を生成するように構成された少なくとも1つのセンサをさらに備え、前記制御および通信ユニット(CCU)は、前記感知信号を受信し、前記感知信号の関数として前記モータの動作を制御するようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載のECV。
- 前記CCUは、処理ユニット、非一時的メモリ、前記ECVの動作データおよび非動作データを表示するように構成された電子ディスプレイ、および通信ネットワークと通信するように構成された入出力ユニットを含み、前記処理ユニットは、前記感知信号に基づいて前記処理ユニットによって決定されるように、前記センサによって物体が検出されない場合に第1のモードを有し、前記センサによって物体が検出される場合に第2のモードを有するECV制御モジュールを実行するように構成される、請求項2に記載のECV。
- 前記動作データは、前記ECVの速度を含み、前記非動作データは、前記ECVが動作している場所に関連する情報を含む、請求項3に記載のECV。
- 前記非動作データは、会場中心の方向情報を含む、請求項4に記載のECV。
- 前記第1のモードは、設定モータが第1の最大速度で動作することを可能にし、前記第2のモードは、前記モータを前記第1の最大速度よりも遅い第2の最大速度で動作するように制限する、請求項3に記載のECV。
- 前記ECVは、前記少なくとも1つのセンサが取り付けられ、ティラーの前面の正面を向くように向けられた前記ステアリング機構に取り付けられたティラーをさらに備え、前記ティラーは、ユーザが前記ステアリング機構を回転させることに応答して回転するように構成され、それにより、前記少なくとも1つのセンサを前記ティラーの前面とともに回転させる、請求項2に記載のECV。
- 前記ECVは、前記ECVの前方を向くように向けられたカメラをさらに備え、前記センサがセンサの近接を感知する範囲内で物体を感知することに応答して、前記カメラによってキャプチャされた画像の記録を開始し、センサのセンサ近接内でもはや感知されない物体に応答して、前記カメラによる画像の記録の停止を開始する、請求項2に記載のECV。
- 前記複数のセンサは、近接センサを含む、請求項2に記載のECV。
- 前記アプリケーションは、ユーザが会場内で指示を要求することを可能にする、請求項9に記載のECV。
- 前記ユーザ支持部材は、ユーザが前記ユーザ支持部材によってサポートされたときを感知するユーザ支持部材センサを含み、前記CCUは、
前記モータがオンになっていることを感知し、ユーザ支持部材センサが、ユーザが前記ユーザ支持部材によってサポートされている状態からサポートされていない状態に移行したことを感知するように、かつ、
前記モータをオフにする前の期間内にユーザが前記ユーザ支持部材によるサポートに戻ったことを部材センサが感知したか否かを判定する期間を確立するための遅延を生成するようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載のECV。 - 前記ユーザ支持部材は、ユーザが前記ユーザ支持部材に座っているときを感知するユーザ支持部材センサを含み、前記CCUは、ユーザが前記ユーザ支持部材に座っていることを感知しない前記ユーザ支持部材センサに応答してスリープモードに移行することができ、ユーザが前記ユーザ支持に座っていることを前記ユーザ支持部材センサが感知したことに応答してスリープモードに移行することを防止する、請求項1に記載のECV。
- 前記CCUの入出力(I/O)ユニットは、ネットワークサーバが実行されている通信ネットワークと通信し、前記処理ユニットは、前記ネットワークサーバからの信号を受信するアプリケーションを実行するように構成され、前記アプリケーションは、前記処理ユニットに、前記ネットワークサーバから受信した対話型情報をユーザに表示させる、請求項1に記載のECV。
- 前記CCUは、ユーザが前記ECVのレンタルに関連する情報をリモートデバイスから受信できるようにさらに構成され、前記情報は、ユーザが前記ECVの操作にアクセスできるようにする一意の識別子を含む、請求項1に記載のECV。
- 前記CCUは、ユーザが前記ECVを前記CCUから直接レンタルすることができるようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載のECV。
- ユーザが前記ECVをレンタルすることができるようにすることは、ユーザがレンタル期間を指定し、支払いを送信し、一意の識別子を送信することができるユーザインターフェースを提示することを含む、請求項15に記載のECV。
- 前記CCUは、ユーザが後でCCUを予約できるようにさらに構成される、請求項15に記載のECV。
- 前記ECVは、前記ECV上に配置され、前記ECVの前方を向くように向けられたカメラをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のECV。
- 電動コンビニエンス輸送機器(ECV)の操作方法であって、
前記ECVのユーザが移動方向を制御できるようにするステップと、
ユーザがスロットルを、前方位置、第2の位置、およびアイドル位置にそれぞれ作動させることに応じて、少なくとも1つの車輪を、前方に推進、後方に推進、または固定位置に留まるようにするステップと、
ユーザがコマンドおよび通信ユニット(CCU)により通信ネットワークを介して通信できるようにするステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記方法は、前記ECVの進行方向の前にある物体を検出することに応答して、感知されている物体を示す感知信号を生成し、前記感知信号の関数として前記ECVの動きを制御するステップをさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、前記ECVの動作データおよび非動作データを表示するステップと、
通信ネットワークと通信するステップと、
前記感知信号に基づいて物体が検出されない場合、前記ECVを第1の最大速度に制限し、前記感知信号に基づいて物体が検出される場合、第2の最大速度に制限するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。 - 前記動作データを表示するステップは、前記ECVの速度を表示するステップを含み、前記非動作データを表示するステップは、前記ECVが動作している場所に関連する情報を表示するステップを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記非動作データを表示するステップは、会場中心の方向情報を表示するステップを含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記ECVを前記第1の最大速度に制限するステップは、前記ECVを前記第2の最大速度よりも高い最大速度に制限するステップを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、ユーザがステアリング機構を回転させることに応答して、前記ステアリング機構の前面の角度の前にある物体を感知するステップをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、物体の感知に応答して、画像の記録を開始するステップと、感知されなくなった物体に応答して、画像の記録の停止を開始するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 物体を感知するステップは、前記ECVの近接内の物体を感知するステップを含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、ユーザが会場内で指示を要求できるようにするステップをさらに含む、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、モータがオンであり、ユーザがユーザ支持部材によってサポートされている状態からユーザ支持部材によってサポートされていない状態に移行することを感知するステップと、
モータをオフにする前の期間内にユーザがユーザ支持部材によるサポートに戻ったことを感知されるか否かに関する判定が行われる期間を確立するための遅延を生成するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。 - 前記方法は、ユーザがユーザ支持部材によってサポートされているときを感知するステップをさらに含み、前記センサが前記ユーザ支持部材によってサポートされていることを感知しないことに応答して、前記CCUをスリープモードに移行させるステップと、ユーザが前記ユーザ支持部材によってサポートされていることを感知したことに応答して、前記CCUがスリープモードに移行するのを防止するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、ネットワークサーバから信号を受信するアプリケーションを実行するステップと、前記ネットワークサーバから受信した対話型情報をユーザに表示するステップと、をさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、ユーザが前記ECVのレンタルに関連する情報をリモートデバイスから受信できるようにするステップをさらに含み、前記情報は、前記ユーザが前記ECVの動作にアクセスできるようにする一意の識別子を含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、ユーザが前記CCUから前記ECVを直接レンタルできるようにするステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ユーザが前記ECVをレンタルできるようにするステップは、ユーザがレンタルの期間を指定し、支払いを送信し、一意の識別子を送信することができるユーザインターフェースを提示するステップを含む、請求項33に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、ユーザが後でCCUを予約できるようにするステップをさらに含む、請求項33に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、前記ECVの画像をキャプチャするステップをさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
