Description
安全ラベルまたは偽造防止用ラベルとしても知られる改ざん防止用ラベルは、従来技術で公知である。一般に、それらが被着基体に付着する強さは、ラベル自体の強さ(曲げ強さまたは引裂強さ)よりも高い。したがって理想的には、そのようなラベルを破壊せずに被着物品から剥がすことは不可能である。
従来技術に鑑み、本発明が取り組む課題は、改ざん防止用ラベルの産業スケールでの製造に有利に用いることができる脆性フィルムを提供することであった。特に、そのようなフィルムは、表面層およびPSA層をキスカットすることで個々のラベルが製造され、次いで周囲の廃棄マトリックスが除去され、個々のラベルが支持層に貼り付いた状態で残される、費用効果のよいプロセスに適したものである。
本発明は、打ち抜き(キスカット)プロセスおよびその後の廃棄マトリックスの除去における脆性アクリルフィルムの挙動は、フィルム中の耐衝撃性改良剤の量と無機充填剤の量との割合に大きく左右される、という驚くべき知見に基づく。特に、驚くべきことに本発明者らは、フィルムの総重量に対する重量%で表される1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤の含量nimが、
0.5*nf≦nim≦nf
の関係により記述され、nfは、フィルムの総重量に対する重量%で表される1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量である、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムが、キスカットプロセスによる加工に特に適していることを見出した。したがって、本発明のフィルムを含む改ざん防止用ラベルは、有利には、個々のラベルがキスカットにより製造され、次いで周囲の廃棄マトリックスが除去され、個々のラベルが剥離ライナーに貼り付いた状態で残されるステップを用いて製造することができる。運転速度が少なくとも25m/分またはそれよりも高くても、廃棄マトリックスの望ましくない破断は生じない。
30.0重量%〜92.5重量%のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート;

ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤の含量(重量%)nimは、
0.5*nf≦nim≦nf
の関係により記述され、nfは、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である。
・上記で特定した押出ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムからなる層6、および
・ASTM D1004−13にしたがい測定すると、50N〜500Nの初期引裂抵抗を好ましくは有する、ライナー層5。
a)押出ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムからなる層6;
b)接着剤層7;
c)任意選択により、剥離剤塗布層8、および
d)支持層9
を登場順に含むことを特徴とし、該改ざん防止用ラベルは、50μm〜300μmの厚さを有する。
i)上記定義したポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムを押出機で押し出すステップであって、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムが得られる、ステップ;および
ii)押出機の下流で、ステップi)のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムにライナー層を結合するステップであって、ラミネートが得られる、ステップ;
iii)ステップii)のラミネートに、接着剤層、任意選択により剥離剤塗布層、および支持層を結合するステップであって、ラベル基材が得られる、ステップ;
iv)ステップiii)で得られたラベル基材をキスカットし、そして得られた廃棄マトリックスを除去するステップであって、支持層上の複数の個々の自己接着性改ざん防止用ラベルが得られる、ステップ
を含む方法に関する。
本発明のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムは、該ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムの重量に対し、
30.0重量%〜92.5重量%のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート;
2.5重量%〜40.0重量%の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤;
5.0重量%〜40.0重量%の1種または数種の無機充填剤;
0.0重量%〜5.0重量%の1種または数種のUV吸収剤;および
0.0重量%〜5.0重量%の1種または数種のUV安定剤
の組成を有し、ここで
ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートと耐衝撃性改良剤との累計含量が、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムの重量に対し60.0重量%〜95.0重量%であり、
ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤の含量(重量%)nimは、
0.5*nf≦nim≦nf
好ましくは0.55*nf≦nim≦0.9*nf
より好ましくは0.6*nf≦nim≦0.8*nf
の関係により記述され、nfは、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である。
・ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート;
・1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤;
・1種または数種の無機充填剤;
・1種または数種のUV吸収剤;および
・1種または数種のUV安定剤
の量は、合計で100重量%になる。
30.0重量%〜85.0重量%のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート;
5.0重量%〜35.0重量%の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤;
10.0重量%〜35.0重量%の1種または数種の無機充填剤;
0.0重量%〜5.0重量%の1種または数種のUV吸収剤;および
0.0重量%〜5.0重量%の1種または数種のUV安定剤
を有する場合に特に有利であることを見出し、ここで
ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートと耐衝撃性改良剤との累計含量が、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムの重量に対し65.0重量%〜90.0重量%であり、
ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤の含量(重量%)nimは、

好ましくは0.55*nf≦nim≦0.9*nf
より好ましくは0.6*nf≦nim≦0.8*nf
の関係により記述され、nfは、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である。
30.0重量%〜77.5重量%のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート;

典型的には、本発明のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムは、単一の層からなる、すなわち単層フィルムである。このようなフィルムは、溶液塗布、鋳造、または押出しなどの当業者には公知の方法により製造することができるが、製造性の高さ、および得られたフィルムの有利な特性という点で、押出しが特に好ましい。驚くべきことに、本発明のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムは脆性が高いにもかかわらず、好都合にも押出しによって製造することができ、たとえばその後顧客に発送するまで保管されるか、そのまま改ざん防止用ラベルの製造に使用される。
上述したように、本発明のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムはその重量に対し、30.0重量%〜92.5重量%のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートを含む。
(a)50.0重量%〜99.9重量%のメチルメタクリレート、
(b)0.1重量%〜50.0重量%の炭素数1〜4のアルコールのアクリル酸エステル、
(c)モノマー(a)および(b)と共重合可能な0.0重量%〜10.0重量%のモノマー
を有する組成物の重合により得ることができるポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートがさらに好ましい。
(a)80.0重量%〜99.0重量%のメチルメタクリレート、および
(b)1.0重量%〜20.0重量%の炭素数1〜4のアルコールのアクリル酸エステル
を含む。
本発明で用いられる耐衝撃性改良剤は自体周知であるが、異なる化学組成および異なるポリマー構造を有していてもよい。耐衝撃性改良剤は、架橋されていても、熱可塑性であってもよい。また、耐衝撃性改良剤は、コア−シェルまたはコア−シェル−シェル粒子など、粒子の形態であってもよい。典型的には、粒子状耐衝撃性改良剤は、20nm〜500nm、好ましくは50nm〜450nm、より好ましくは100nm〜400nm、最も好ましくは150nm〜350nmの平均粒径を有する。この文脈では、「粒子状」は、一般にはコア−シェルまたはコア−シェル−シェル構造を有する、架橋された耐衝撃性改良剤を意味する。平均粒径は、当業者には公知の方法により決定することができ、たとえば規格DIN ISO 13321:1996にしたがい光子相関分光法より決定することができる。
本発明のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムにおける無機充填剤の存在は、いくつかの目的に役立つ。特定量の無機充填剤が存在するおかげで、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムが外見的に光沢のない粗面を有し、容易に印刷ができる。印刷は、レーザー印刷、インクジェット印刷、フレキソ印刷、デジタル印刷、またはスクリーン印刷など、実質的に、従来技術で公知のあらゆる方法で実施してよい。

の関係であることが極めて重要であり、nfは、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である。
0.55*nf≦nim≦0.9*nf
の関係であることが特に有利であり、nfは、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である。
0.6*nf≦nim≦0.8*nf
の関係であることが特に有利であり、nfは、ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である。
UV吸収剤およびUV安定剤は周知であり、例として、Hans Zweifel, Plastics Additives Handbook, Hanser Verlag, 5th Edition, 2001, p. 141 ffで詳細に説明されている。光安定剤には、UV吸収剤、UV安定剤、およびフリーラジカルスカベンジャーが含まれるものと理解される。
・構成要素A:ベンゾトリアゾールタイプのUV吸収剤、
・構成要素B:トリアジンタイプのUV吸収剤、
・構成要素C:UV安定剤(HALS化合物)。
本発明で用いられるポリ(メタ)アクリレートフィルムは、好ましくは押出しプロセスにより製造される。溶液塗布プロセスにより製造されるフィルムと違って、押出ポリ(メタ)アクリレートフィルムは、溶媒などの揮発性有機化合物を実質的に含まず、そのことは毒性および環境的な理由で極めて有利である。
押出機、
メルトポンプ、
任意選択のメルトろ過設備、
任意選択の静的撹拌要素、
フラットフィルム押出ダイ、
艶出スタックまたは冷却ロール、および
巻取機。
・ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムにより形成される層6;および
・ライナー層5。
本発明の改ざん防止用ラベル2は、少なくとも以下の層を登場順に含む(図3参照):
a)上述の押出ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムからなる層6;
b)接着剤層7;
c)剥離剤塗布層8、および
d)支持層9。
・PMMA層6は、20μm〜100μm、より好ましくは30μm〜75μm、さらに好ましくは40μm〜60μmの厚さを有する場合があり;
・接着剤層7は、10μm〜40μm、より好ましくは20μm〜30μmの厚さを有する場合があり;
・剥離剤塗布層8は、0.01μm〜1.5μm、好ましくは0.5μm〜1.2μm、より好ましくは0.6μm〜0.8μmの厚さを有する場合があり;
・支持層9は、20μm〜70μm、好ましくは30μm〜50μmの厚さを有する場合がある。
例1(比較例)
以下の組成で配合された混合物を用いて、全体の厚さ50μmのポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムを調製した:
a)47重量%のブチルアクリレート(butylacrylat)系アクリルコア−シェル−シェル耐衝撃性改良剤を含む、20.0重量%の材料、
b)Evonik Performance Materials GmbHから入手可能な、58.94重量%のPLEXIGLAS(登録商標)7N、および
c)KRONOS TITAN GmbHから入手可能な、21.06重量%の二酸化チタン。
押出機のスクリュー温度:240℃〜270℃
ダイ温度:240℃〜260℃
ダイにおけるメルト温度:240℃〜260℃
ロール温度:50℃〜120℃
押出ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムは、5%未満の破断点伸びを有した。
以下の組成で配合された混合物を用いて、全体の厚さ50μmのポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムを調製した:
a)47重量%のブチルアクリレート(butylacrylat)系アクリルコア−シェル−シェル耐衝撃性改良剤を含む、30.0重量%の材料、
b)Evonik Performance Materials GmbHから入手可能な、48.67重量%のPLEXIGLAS(登録商標)7N、および
c)KRONOS TITAN GmbHから入手可能な、21.33重量%の二酸化チタン。
Claims (14)
- ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムを含む改ざん防止用ラベルであって、前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムは、前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムの重量に対し、
30.0重量%〜92.5重量%のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレート;
2.5重量%〜40.0重量%の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤;
5.0重量%〜40.0重量%の1種または数種の無機充填剤;
0.0重量%〜5.0重量%の1種または数種のUV吸収剤;および
0.0重量%〜5.0重量%の1種または数種のUV安定剤
を含み、
前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートと前記耐衝撃性改良剤との累計含量が、前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムの重量に対し60.0重量%〜95.0重量%であり、
前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤の含量(重量%)nimは、
0.5*nf≦nim≦nf
の関係により記述され、ここでnfは、前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である、

(b)0.1重量%〜50.0重量%の炭素数1〜4のアルコールのアクリル酸エステル、
(c)前記モノマー(a)および(b)と共重合可能な0.0重量%〜10.0重量%の少なくとも1種のさらなるモノマー、
を含む組成物の重合により得ることができ、ここで、前記重量%は、前記重合性組成物の重量に対する、請求項1記載の改ざん防止用ラベル。 - 前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムが、
15μm〜120μmの厚さ、
ASTM D1004−13にしたがい測定された、0.5%〜15%の破断点伸び、および
ASTM D1004−13にしたがい測定された、0.1N〜30.0Nの初期引裂抵抗
を有する、請求項1または2記載の改ざん防止用ラベル。 - 前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムが、ASTM D1938−14にしたがい測定された、0.01N〜1.00Nの引裂伝播抵抗を有する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベル。
- 前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の耐衝撃性改良剤の含量(重量%)nimが、
0.6*nf≦nim≦0.8*nf
の関係により記述され、ここでnfが、前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム中の1種または数種の無機充填剤の含量(重量%)である、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベル。 - 前記1種または数種の無機充填剤が、二酸化チタン、シリカ、硫酸バリウム、三水酸化アルミニウム、または炭酸カルシウムから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベル。
- 前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートが、80000g/mol〜200000g/molの平均モル重量Mwを有し、かつ、重合性構成成分として以下;
(a)80.0重量%〜99.0重量%のメチルメタクリレート、および
(b)1.0重量%〜20.0重量%の炭素数1〜4のアルコールのアクリル酸エステルを含む組成物の重合により得ることができ、ここで、前記重量%は、前記重合性組成物の重量に対する、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベル。 - 少なくとも
a)請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムからなる層であって、好ましくは40μm〜60μmの厚さを有する層;
b)接着剤層であって、好ましくは20μm〜30μmの厚さを有する接着剤層;
c)剥離剤塗布層であって、好ましくは0.6μm〜0.8μmの厚さを有する剥離剤塗布層;および
d)支持層であって、好ましくは30μm〜50μmの厚さを有する支持層、
をa)〜d)に示された順に含むこと、および/または
前記改ざん防止用ラベルが80μm〜300μmの厚さを有すること、
を特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベル。 - 少なくとも
a)ライナー層であって、好ましくはASTM D1004−13にしたがい測定された、50N〜500Nの初期引裂抵抗を有するライナー層;
b)請求項1から7までの少なくとも1項記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムからなる層、を含む、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベルを製造するためのラミネート。 - 前記ライナー層が、実質的に、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、およびポリエチレンテレフタレートからなる群より選択されるポリマー材料、好ましくは二軸延伸ポリプロピレン、または二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートからなる、請求項9記載のラミネート。
- 少なくとも
i)押出機を用いて、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムを調製するステップであって、前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムが得られる、ステップ;および
ii)前記押出機の下流で、ステップi)のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムにライナー層を結合するステップ
を含む、請求項9または10記載のラミネートを製造する方法。 - 前記ステップii)で得られたラミネートが、複数のロール間に通され、ここで前記ポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルム側に対向する少なくとも1本のロールが冷却されたロールである、請求項11記載の方法。
- 少なくとも
i)押出機を用いて、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムを調製するステップ;および
ii)前記押出機の下流で、ステップi)のポリアルキル(メタ)アクリレートフィルムにライナー層を結合するステップであって、ラミネートが得られる、ステップ;
iii)ステップii)のラミネートに、接着剤層、任意選択により剥離剤塗布層、および支持層を結合するステップであって、ラベル基材が得られる、ステップ;
iv)ステップiii)で得られたラベル基材をキスカットし、そして得られた廃棄マトリックスを除去するステップであって、支持層上の複数の個々の自己接着性改ざん防止用ラベルが得られる、ステップ
を含む、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベルを製造する方法。 - チップカード、文書、改ざん防止用ラベル、他のラベル、または値札を製造するための、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項記載の改ざん防止用ラベルの使用。
