Claims (20)
- 加熱システムのための流体センサシステムであって、
有限長さを有し、前記有限長さの一部分が流体に浸されることになるプローブであって、1つ又はそれ以上の性能特性を測定するための抵抗加熱要素及び流体温度センサを備え、前記流体温度センサは流体温度を測定するようにされ、前記抵抗加熱要素は前記流体を検知するために前記長さに沿って温度差を作り出すためのヒータとして及び流体レベルを測定するためのセンサとして動作可能である、プローブ、
を備えている、流体センサシステム。 - 前記プローブを動作させ、前記センサとして動作している前記抵抗加熱要素の電気応答と前記流体温度センサの電気応答とのうちの少なくとも一方に基づいて、前記加熱システムの前記1つ又はそれ以上の性能特性を求めるようにされた制御システム、を更に備えており、前記性能特性は前記流体レベルと前記流体温度とのうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記制御システムは、前記流体レベルを、前記流体温度、前記抵抗加熱要素の抵抗、及び所与の抵抗と所与の温度を流体レベルに相関付ける所定の情報に基づいて求めるようにされている、請求項2に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記制御システムは、
前記流体温度が周囲温度と実質的に同じであるときに前記温度差を生成するための前記抵抗加熱要素への第1の電力量、及び、
前記流体温度が前記周囲温度と異なっているときに前記抵抗加熱要素の抵抗を測定するための、前記第1の電力量より少ない第2の電力量、
を印加するようにされている、請求項2に記載の流体センサシステム。 - 前記プローブは周囲温度を測定するための周囲温度センサを更に備え、前記周囲温度センサは、前記プローブの、前記流体から離れている部分に配置されている、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記周囲温度センサは熱電対である、請求項5に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記プローブは抵抗温度検知器RTDを更に備えており、前記抵抗加熱要素と前記流体温度センサとのうちの少なくとも一方が前記RTDに接続されている、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記プローブは四線式抵抗温度検知器RTDを更に備えており、高い抵抗温度係数TCRを有する第1のループワイヤが前記抵抗加熱要素を形成するように前記RTDに接続され、第2のループワイヤが前記流体温度センサを形成するように前記RTDに接続されている、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記プローブは、最大流体温度を検知するためのリミットセンサを更に備えている、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記流体温度センサは熱電対である、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 加熱システムのための流体センサシステムであって、
有限長さを有し前記有限長さの一部分が流体に浸されることになるプローブであって、流体を検知するための抵抗加熱要素、及び流体温度を測定するための流体温度センサを備え、前記抵抗加熱要素は、前記流体を検知するために前記長さに沿って温度差を作り出すためのヒータとして及び流体レベルを測定するためのセンサとして動作可能である、プローブと、
センサとして動作している前記抵抗加熱要素からの電気応答と前記流体温度センサの電気応答とのうちの少なくとも一方及び所定の情報に基づいて、前記加熱システムの1つ又はそれ以上の性能特性を求めるようにされている制御システムであって、前記流体温度が周囲温度と実質的に同じであることに応じて前記抵抗加熱要素をヒータとして動作させるようにされている制御システムと、
を備えている、流体センサシステム。 - 前記制御システムは、
前記流体温度が前記周囲温度と実質的に同じであるときに前記温度差を生成するための前記抵抗加熱要素への第1の電力量と、
前記流体温度が前記周囲温度と異なっているときに前記抵抗加熱要素の抵抗を測定するための、前記抵抗加熱要素への前記第1の電力量より少ない第2の電力量と、
のうちの少なくとも一方を印加するようにされている、請求項11に記載の流体センサシステム。 - 前記制御システムは、性能特性としての前記流体レベルを、前記流体温度センサの前記電気応答に基づいて求められた前記流体温度、前記抵抗加熱要素の前記抵抗、及び所与の抵抗と所与の流体温度を流体レベルに相関付ける所定の情報に基づいて求めるようにされている、請求項12に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記プローブは、前記周囲温度を測定するための周囲温度センサを更に備えている、請求項11に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記プローブは抵抗温度検知器RTDを更に備えており、前記抵抗加熱要素と前記流体温度センサとのうちの少なくとも一方が前記RTDに接続されている、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 前記プローブは、最大流体温度を検知するためのリミットセンサを更に備えており、前記制御システムは、前記リミットセンサの電気応答に基づいて前記流体温度を測定し、前記流体温度が予め定義された限界より上であるかどうかを判定するようにされている、請求項1に記載の流体センサシステム。
- 請求項11に記載の前記センサシステムと、
前記流体を加熱するように動作可能なヒータと、
前記センサシステムの前記制御システムと通信していて前記性能特性に基づいて前記ヒータを制御するようにされているヒータ制御システムと、
を備えているヒータシステム。 - 1つ又はそれ以上の性能特性を測定するように構成された少なくとも1つの複数部分型抵抗要素であって、第1の伝導性材料によって画定された第1の部分と、前記第1の伝導性材料の抵抗温度係数(TCR)より低い抵抗温度係数を有する第2の伝導性材料によって画定された第2の部分と、を有し、当該複数部分型抵抗要素は熱を生成するヒータとして及びセンサとして動作可能であり、当該複数部分型抵抗要素の前記第1の部分は第1の性能特性を測定するために指定区域に沿って延びるようにされている、少なくとも1つの複数部分型抵抗要素、
を備えている一体型ヒータデバイス。 - 第1の部材と、前記第1の部材とは異なるゼーベック係数を有する第2の部材と、を更に備えており、前記第1の部材と前記第2の部材は、第2の性能特性としての第1の場所での温度を測定するために温度センシング接点を形成している、請求項18に記載の一体型ヒータデバイス。
- 請求項18に記載の前記一体型ヒータデバイスと、
前記ヒータデバイスの前記複数部分型抵抗要素を、物体を加熱するためのヒータとして、又は前記複数部分型抵抗要素の電気応答を測定するためのセンサとして、動作させるようにされた制御システムと、
を備えているヒータシステム。
