Abstract
Description
本発明の課題は、チューブ結合部のシール性を改善することである。
公知の方法から出発して、本発明によれば、保護層を第1のチューブ端部の内面に提供することが提案される。こうして、先行技術に基づき公知の遮熱体の縁部における非シール部が回避されている。
以下に、本発明を1つの実施例に基づき説明する。

発明の背景において、米国特許第6090233号明細書および国際公開第97/06954号には、灌漑用チューブの2つのチューブ端部を溶着するために、保護層として、澱粉、ワックスペーパ、ファイバグラス、コットン、ウール、アスベストまたはテフロン(登録商標)から成る扁平な遮熱体を内側のチューブ端部内に挿入することが提案されている。公知の方法によるチューブ端部同士の溶着部は、車輪用のエアチューブを製造するためには不十分なシール性を有している。
発明の別の背景において、米国特許第2623571号明細書には、車輪用のエアチューブを製造する方法が開示されている。この方法では、両端部が円錐形にもしくは円錐形に嵌合するよう漏斗状に面取りされ、溶着される。
本発明の課題は、溶着シームのシール性を改善することである。
公知の方法から出発して、本発明によれば、溶着後、チューブ端部を、まず、2つの第1の部分シームにおいて直立させ、その後、これらの第1の部分シームに対して横方向で新たに扁平に押し潰し、溶着して、2つの別の部分シームを形成し、第1の部分シームと別の部分シームとがシームを形成していることが提案される。2ステップでの溶着は、「キャットアイ」における弱化を回避する。こうして、特にチューブ端部の肉厚がより大きい場合に、シール性が一層向上させられる。

Claims (10)
- 第1のチューブ端部(5)の全周に延在するシームを形成するために、前記第1のチューブ端部(5)をシーム形成箇所において第2のチューブ端部(9)に溶着する方法であって、まず、前記シーム形成箇所において前記第1のチューブ端部(5)内に保護層(7)を提供し、その後、前記第2のチューブ端部(9)を前記シーム形成箇所を越えて前記第1のチューブ端部(5)に被せ、最後、前記チューブ端部(5,9)を前記シーム形成箇所において、互いに近づく方向に案内される2つのクランプジョー(10,14)の間で扁平に押し潰して、この位置で溶着し、前記保護層(7)が、前記第1のチューブ端部(5)の前記内面(6)同士の溶着を阻止している、方法において、
前記保護層(7)を前記第1のチューブ端部(5)の内面(6)に提供することを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記溶着後、前記チューブ端部(5,9)を、まず、2つの第1の部分シーム(13)において直立させ、その後、該第1の部分シーム(13)に対して横方向で新たに扁平に押し潰し、溶着して、2つの別の部分シームを形成し、前記第1の部分シーム(13)と前記別の部分シームとが前記シームを形成していることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第1の部分シーム(13)と前記別の部分シームとが、全周の互いに異なる割合を覆っていることを特徴とする、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記第1のチューブ端部(5)および/または前記第2のチューブ端部(9)が熱可塑性ポリウレタンから成っていることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記チューブ端部(5,9)を熱により溶着することを特徴とする、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記クランプジョーが透明であることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記保護層(7)を前記内面(6)にローラによって被着することを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記保護層(7)を前記溶着前に完全に硬化させることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記保護層(7)が、前記完全に硬化した後に少なくとも250℃までの熱に耐える耐熱性の塗料から成っていることを特徴とする、請求項8記載の方法。
- 車輪用のインナチューブ(1)を製造する方法において、
エンドレスチューブ状の押出し物から中間製品を切断し、円環体状に閉じ、前記中間製品の2つのチューブ端部(5,9)を、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法により溶着して、前記インナチューブ(1)を形成することを特徴とする、方法。
