Claims (10)
- 稼働中の搬送管に配置される継手(10)の2つのスリーブ・ハーフ(11、13)の間に位置する、少なくとも11/4インチ(32mm)の厚さの継目(20)を溶接する場合に、継手のボアの歪みを制御する方法であって、
継目ベベル(19)の輪郭に沿って中間の1/3セクション(31)の端部から始める内向きの進行を用いてピラミッド状に継目(20)の中間の1/3セクションを溶接すること、ならびに
継目ベベル(19)の輪郭に沿って中間の1/3セクション(31)に隣接する端部から外向き進行を用いて継目(20)の左および右外側の1/3セクション(37)を溶接すること
を含んで成り、3つのセクションのそれぞれの溶接は、少なくとも2つの溶接層に適用する制御されたテンパービード溶接法を含む、継手のボアの歪みを制御する方法。 - 左および右外側の1/3セクション(37)の溶接の前に、中間の1/3セクション(31)の溶接を行う請求項1に記載の方法。
- 溶接後、継目(20)に関して溶接後熱処理を用いない請求項1に記載の方法。
- 継手(10)がホット・タップ継手である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 稼働中の搬送管に配置される継手(10)の2つのスリーブ・ハーフ(11,13)の間に位置する、少なくとも11/4インチ(32mm)の厚さの継目(20)を溶接する場合に、継手のボア歪みを制御する方法であって、
継目ベベル(19)の輪郭に沿って始めて中間の1/3セクション(31)を溶接すること、および
継目(20)の中間セクション(31)の溶接の後、継目ベベル(19)の輪郭に沿って始めて継目(20)の左および右外側の1/3セクションを溶接すること
を含み、3つのセクションのそれぞれの溶接は、少なくとも2つの層(47、49)の制御されたテンパービード溶接法を含む方法。 - 中間の1/3セクション(31)の端部から始めて内向き進行を用いて中間の1/3セクション(31)の溶接を実施する請求項5に記載の方法。
- 中間の1/3セクション(31)の溶接をピラミッド状方式で実施することを更に含んで成る請求項6に記載の方法。
- 中間の1/3セクション(31)に隣接する端部から外向き進行を用いて左および右外側の1/3セクション(37)を溶接すること更に含んで成る請求項5に記載の方法。
- 溶接後、継目(20)に関して溶接後熱処理を使用しない請求項5に記載の方法。
- 稼働中の搬送管に設けた継手であって、
稼働中の搬送管の一方の側の溶接した継目(20)、および稼働中の搬送管の対向側のもう1つの溶接した継目を含んで成り、
それぞれの溶接した継目(少なくとも11/4インチ(32mm)の厚さを有する)は、中間の1/3セクション(31)ならびに左および右外側の1/3セクション(37)を含み、
中間の1/3セクションは、継目ベベル(19)の輪郭に沿って中間の1/3セクション(31)の端部から始める内向き進行を用いてピラミッド状に溶接され、
左および右外側の1/3セクション(37)は、継目ベベル(19)の輪郭に沿って中間の1/3セクション(31)に隣接する端部から始める外向き進行を用いて溶接され、
3つのセクションのそれぞれの少なくとも2つの層(47、49)は、制御されたテンパービードを含み、溶接後熱処理を溶接継目に適用していない、継手。
