Abstract
Description

固形マイクロカプセルを製造する方法に関する。
− 水溶性物質または親水性物質の劣化を引き起こす化学種の、カプセル内部への拡散が、剛性の、高密度の架橋された封入シェルによって有利に制限される、
− コアの疎水性相が、水溶性物質または親水性物質への親水性の劣化性種の拡散を抑制する付加的なバリアを構成する、そして、
− 水溶性物質または親水性物質が固体状態にある(すなわち、例えば下記のような粒子または結晶の形態をなす)場合、この状態は、劣化性種と直接に接触する材料の量を制限する、すなわち、1つの外部層だけが、水溶性物質または親水性物質を含有する疎水性相と直接に接触することが判る。固形物内部への化学種の拡散が液体と比較して著しく遅くなることを考慮すると、粒子の中心に位置する水溶性物質または親水性物質の分子は、劣化性化学種から完全に隔離されることが判る。

− ワックス、例えばジエステルワックス(アルカンジオールジエステル、ヒドロキシル酸ジエステル)、トリエステルワックス(トリアシルグリセロール、アルカン−1,2−ジオール、ω−ヒドロキシ酸および脂肪酸のトリエステル、ヒドロキシマロン酸、脂肪酸、およびアルコールのエステル、ヒドロキシル酸、脂肪酸、および脂肪アルコールのトリエステル、脂肪酸、ヒドロキシル酸、およびジオールのトリエステル)、ならびにポリエステルワックス(脂肪酸のポリエステル)。本発明の文脈においてワックスとして使用できる脂肪酸エステルは、例えばセチルパルミテート、セチルオクタノエート、セチルラウレート、セチルラクテート、セチルイソノナノエート、およびセチルステアレート、ステアリルステアレート、ミリスチルステアレート、セチルミリステート、イソセチルステアレート、グリセリルトリミリステート、グリセリルトリパルミテート、グリセリルモノステアレート、またはグリセリルパルミテート、およびセチルパルミテートである;
− ワックスとして使用することができる脂肪酸、例えばセロチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、ジヒドロキシステアリン酸、ベヘン酸、リグノセリン酸、アラキジン酸、ミリスチン酸、ラウリン酸、トリデシル酸、ペンタデシル酸、マルガリン酸、ノナデシル酸、ヘンイコシル酸、トリコシル酸、ペンタコシル酸、ヘプタコシル酸、モンタン酸、またはノナコシル酸;
− 脂肪酸塩、特には脂肪酸アルミニウム塩、例えばアルミニウムステアレート、ヒドロキシルアルミニウムビス(2−エチルヘキサノエート);
− 異性化ホホバ油;
− 水素化ヒマワリ油;
− 水素化ヤシ油;
− 水素化ラノリン油;
− ヒマシ油およびその誘導体、特には変性水素化ヒマシ油、またはヒマシ油と脂肪アルコールとのエステル化によって得られる化合物;
− ポリウレタンおよびその誘導体;
− スチレン系ポリマー、例えばスチレンブタジエン;
− ポリオレフィン、例えばポリイソブテン。
本発明による方法の工程d)は、第2エマルジョン(E2)の液滴のサイズを精緻化することからなる。
− (クエット型ミキサとも称される)2つの同心的な回転シリンダ、
− 2つの平行な回転ディスク、または
− 2つの平行な振動プレート、
で形成されたセルを通して循環する場合に、均質な制御された剪断を受けることができる。
上記式中、
− ωは、回転する内側シリンダの角速度であり、
− Roは、固定された外側シリンダの内側半径であり、そして
− Riは、回転する内側シリンダの外側半径である。
本発明の方法の工程e)は、本発明による固形マイクロカプセルの封入シェルの架橋、およびそれによる形成からなっている。
− 上記で規定された組成物C1を含むコアと、
− その周囲でコアを完全にカプセルに包む固形封入シェルと
を含み、
前記マイクロカプセルの平均直径が1μm〜30μmの範囲であり、剛性の封入シェルの厚さが0.1μm〜20μmの範囲であり、マイクロカプセル直径の分布の標準偏差が50%未満、特には25%未満、または1μm未満である、
一連の(一組の)固形マイクロカプセルに関する。
凝集防止型のプロペラ撹拌機を備えた機械的攪拌器(Ika Eurostar 20)が、全てのかき混ぜ/攪拌工程を実施するのに用いられる。
組成物C1が、組成物C2に、3:7の比で、2000rpmで攪拌しながら液滴状に添加される。この結果、第1のエマルジョン(E1)が得られる。
完全な均質化が得られるまで、組成物C3が、分当たりの1000回(rpm)の攪拌下に置かれ、次いで周囲温度で1時間に亘って静止させて置かれる。次いで1000rpmの攪拌下で、第1のエマルジョン(E1)が、組成物C3に液滴状に添加される。こうして第2のエマルジョン(E2)が得られる。
前工程で得られた第2の多分散エマルジョン(E2)が、10分間に亘って1000rpmで攪拌される。単分散エマルジョン(E3)がこうして得られる。
前工程において得られた第2の単分散エマルジョン(E3)が、10分間に亘って、波長365nmで0.1W/cm2の最大光度を有するUV光源(Dymax LightBox ECE 2000)を使用することによって照射される。
Claims (15)
- 固形マイクロカプセルを製造する方法であって、前記方法が、下記の工程、すなわち
a)疎水性相中に分散された少なくとも1種の水溶性物質または親水性物質を含む組成物C1を製造する工程と、
b)前記組成物C1をポリマー組成物C2中に攪拌しながら添加する工程であって、前記組成物C1およびC2は互いに非混和性であり、
前記組成物C2は少なくとも1種のモノマーもしくはポリマーと、少なくとも1種の架橋剤と、随意選択的に少なくとも1種の光開始剤、または架橋触媒とを含み、
前記組成物C2の粘度は25℃で500mPa.s〜100,000mPa.sの範囲であり、そして好ましくは前記組成物C1の粘度よりも高く、
これにより、前記組成物C2中に分散された前記組成物C1の液滴を含むエマルジョン(E1)が得られる、
工程と、
c)前記エマルジョン(E1)を組成物C3中に攪拌しながら添加する工程であって、前記組成物C2およびC3は互いに非混和性であり、
前記組成物C3の粘度は25℃で500mPa.s〜100,000mPa.sの範囲であり、そして好ましくは前記エマルジョン(E1)の粘度よりも高く、
これにより、前記組成物C3中に分散された液滴を含む二重エマルジョン(E2)が得られる、
工程と、
d)前記エマルジョン(E2)に剪断を加え、
これにより、前記組成物C3中に分散されたサイズが制御された液滴を含む二重エマルジョン(E3)が得られる、
工程と、
e)前記組成物C2を重合し、これにより前記組成物C3中に分散された固形マイクロカプセルが得られる、
工程とを含む、
固形マイクロカプセルを製造する方法。 - 前記水溶性物質または親水性物質が周囲温度および大気圧で固形形態、特には粒子形態および/または結晶形態、特には塩の形態であり、好ましくは1μm未満の平均サイズを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物C1が、特には噴霧化によって得られる、粉末の形態の少なくとも1種の水溶性または親水性の固形物質を前記疎水性相中に分散することにより、あるいは疎水性相中の水滴のナノエマルジョンを製造することによりのいずれかで製造される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物C1が、少なくとも1種の固形の水溶性または親水性物質を粉砕し、次いで前記粉砕された物質を前記疎水性相中に分散させることにより得られる、請求項2または3に記載の方法。
- 前記疎水性相が少なくとも1種の油を含み、前記油の水との界面張力が25mN/m〜50mN/mの範囲である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記油が、植物油、動物油、または合成油から選択される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物C2が、前記組成物の総質量に対して0.001質量%〜70質量%の範囲の架橋剤を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記工程d)が、均質な制御された剪断を前記エマルジョン(E2)に加えることからなり、加えられる剪断速度が1000s−1〜100,000s−1の範囲である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物C3の粘度が25℃で2000mPa.s超である場合に、前記工程d)が、1000s−1未満の剪断速度を前記エマルジョン(E2)に加えることからなる、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物C2が光開始剤を含む場合に、前記工程e)が、前記組成物C2の光重合を開始することができる光源、特には好ましくは100nm〜400nmの範囲の波長で発光するUV光源に前記エマルジョン(E3)を暴露させることからなる光重合工程であり、そして前記光源に対する暴露は特には15分未満の時間に亘って行われる、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物C2が光開始剤を含まない場合に、前記工程e)は、光源に対する暴露のない重合工程であり、前記重合工程e)の継続時間は好ましくは8時間〜100時間の範囲であり、および/または前記工程e)は20℃〜80℃の範囲の温度で実施される、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物C3が、加えて、好ましくは5000g.mol−1超の分子量を有する少なくとも1種の分枝ポリマー、および/または5000g.mol−1超の分子量を有する少なくとも1種のポリマー、および/またはシリケートのような固形粒子を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法によって得ることができる一連の固形マイクロカプセルであって、それぞれのマイクロカプセルが、
− 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項で規定された組成物C1を含むコアと、
− その周囲で前記コアを完全にカプセルに包む固形封入シェルと
を含み、
前記マイクロカプセルの平均直径が1μm〜30μmの範囲であり、前記剛性封入シェルの厚さが0.1μm〜20μmの範囲であり、そして前記マイクロカプセル直径の分布の標準偏差が50%未満、特には25%未満、または1μm未満である、
一連の固形マイクロカプセル。 - 請求項13に記載の一連の固形マイクロカプセルを含む組成物。
- 周囲温度および大気圧で固形形態、特には粒子形態および/または結晶形態、特には塩の形態の、好ましくは1μm未満の平均サイズを有する、水溶性物質または親水性物質を放出する方法であって、前記方法が、請求項14に記載の一連の固形マイクロカプセルを含む組成物に機械的剪断応力を加える工程を含む、水溶性物質または親水性物質を放出する方法。
