Abstract
Description
本実施形態・実施形態1間の違いは、本実施形態では複数個のサブ画素が四色、例えば赤、緑、青及び白或いは赤、緑、青及び黄に対応していることにある。それら複数個のサブ画素の発光ユニットにより形成される画素アレイは、カラム方向に沿い、二色に対応する画素カラム群を有する。例えば、その画素アレイにて、幾つかの画素カラムを四色のうち二色(例えば青及び白)に対応させ、他の画素カラムを他の二色(例えば赤及び緑)に対応させる。
Claims (13)
- 表示領域内に形成された複数個のサブ画素を備え、各サブ画素が発光ユニット及び駆動スイッチを備え、その発光ユニットが第1電極を備え、上記駆動スイッチがその第1電極に電気的に接続されており、上記複数個のサブ画素内の発光ユニット群が複数個の画素カラムを備える画素アレイを形成しており、その画素アレイの少なくとも1個の画素カラム内の発光ユニット群が相異なる少なくとも二色のサブ画素群に対応しており、上記複数個のサブ画素内の駆動スイッチ群が駆動アレイを形成しており、その駆動アレイ内にあり、上記少なくとも1個の画素カラムに対応接続されている駆動カラムのうち、少なくとも1個の駆動カラム内の駆動スイッチが、同一色の発光ユニットを駆動制御する表示パネル。
- 請求項1の表示パネルであって、更に、非表示領域内に所在する周辺駆動回路を備え、その周辺駆動回路が、上記駆動スイッチ群にデータ信号群を供給するソース駆動回路を備える表示パネル。
- 請求項2の表示パネルであって、更に複数個のスイッチ素子を備え、上記ソース駆動回路が、同一駆動カラム内にあり相異なる色に対応している駆動スイッチ群向けに、別々のスイッチ素子により相応なデータ信号群を供給する表示パネル。
- 請求項3の表示パネルであって、上記ソース駆動回路が複数本のスイッチ信号ライン及び複数本のデータ信号ラインを備え、上記スイッチ素子群がそれらスイッチ信号ライン及びデータ信号ラインに接続されており、上記スイッチ信号ラインが上記スイッチ素子の導通を制御するのに用いられ、上記データ信号ラインが上記スイッチ素子により相応色の駆動スイッチ向けにデータ信号を供給する表示パネル。
- 請求項4の表示パネルであって、別々の駆動カラム内にあり同一色の駆動スイッチに対応するスイッチ素子それぞれが同一のスイッチ信号ラインに接続されている表示パネル。
- 請求項4の表示パネルであって、同一色対応でない駆動カラムそれぞれにて、その駆動カラム内の複数個の駆動スイッチが少なくとも二色のサブ画素群に対応する表示パネル。
- 請求項1の表示パネルであって、上記複数個のサブ画素の発光ユニット群が相異なる三色に対応しており、そのうち一色に対応する駆動スイッチが独立的に且つカラム方向に沿い反復的に配列される一方、他の二色に対応する駆動スイッチがカラム方向に交互配列されている表示パネル。
- 請求項1の表示パネルであって、上記複数個のサブ画素の発光ユニット群が相異なる四色に対応しており、それら相異なる四色のうち二色に対応する駆動スイッチが独立的に且つ個々のカラム内に反復的に配列される一方、他の二色に対応する駆動スイッチがカラム方向に沿い交互配列されている表示パネル。
- 請求項1の表示パネルであって、各駆動スイッチがコンタクトホールを介し第1電極に電気的に接続されており、同一所定色に対応する駆動カラムが隣り合う2個の画素カラム間に配列されており、上記同一所定色に対応する第1電極が、上記2個の画素カラム間の領域へと延びて、当該同一所定色に対応する駆動スイッチのコンタクトホールに接続されている表示パネル。
- 請求項1の表示パネルであって、上記複数個のサブ画素が相異なる三色に対応しており、上記画素アレイのカラム方向にはそれら相異なる三色に対応する発光ユニットが順次配列され、その画素アレイのロー方向には同一色に対応する発光ユニットがカラム方向沿い千鳥配置されている表示パネル。
- 請求項1の表示パネルであって、アレイをなし配列された複数個の画素ユニットが複数個のサブ画素により形成されており、各画素ユニットが、別々の色に対応する3個のサブ画素を備え、各画素ユニット内のそれら3個のサブ画素の発光ユニットが上記画素アレイの隣り合う2個のカラム内に配列されている表示パネル。
- 請求項1の表示パネルであって、各画素ユニットをロー方向に沿い180°反転させることで得られる配列構造が、同カラム内隣接画素ユニットの配列構造とそっくりな表示パネル。
- 請求項1乃至12のうちいずれか一項に記載の表示パネルを備える表示装置。
