Abstract
Description
本発明は、従来技術の上述の欠点を克服する、触媒を有するウォールフロー型フィルタを提供するとの目的に基づく。本発明により、高い触媒活性を有する改善されたウォールフロー型フィルタが提供される。この場合、触媒は、良好なフィルタ特性及び高い機械的安定性を有し、コンパクトな設計にて高いガス流量を可能にする。
驚くべきことに、本発明が基づく目的は、本特許請求の範囲によるウォールフロー型フィルタ及び方法によって達成される。更なる有利な実施形態が、本記載において説明される。
(a)交互の端部で閉じている並列排気ガス吸気口流路及び排気ガス排出口流路を有するウォールフロー型フィルタを準備するステップであって、当該フィルタが、一方の端部で閉じている更なる触媒流路を有する、ステップと、
(b)触媒を準備するステップと、
(c)触媒を触媒流路内に導入するステップと、
(d)触媒流路を後端部で閉じるステップと、
を含む、方法にも関する。
Claims (12)
- 交互の端部で閉じている並列排気ガス吸気口流路(3)及び排気ガス排出口流路(4)を備えている、エンジンからの排気ガスを浄化するためのウォールフロー型フィルタ(1)であって、両端部で閉じ固体形態の触媒を収容する触媒流路(2)を更に備え、前記吸気口流路(3)及び前記触媒流路(2)は、共通の壁を有することを特徴とし、前記排出口流路(4)及び前記触媒流路(2)は、共通の壁(5)を有する、フィルタ。
- 前記触媒流路(2)が、前記排気ガスが前記吸気口流路(3)から前記触媒流路(2)を通って前記排出口流路(4)内に流れるように、前記吸気口流路(3)と前記排出口流路(4)との間に配設されている、請求項1に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記吸気口流路(3)及び前記排出口流路(4)が、共通の壁(5)を有さない、請求項1又は2に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記吸気口流路(3)及び/又は前記排出口流路(4)の断面積が、前記触媒流路(2)の断面積よりも広い、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記流路の前記多孔質壁が、<20μmの平均孔径を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記触媒が、粒子の形態で前記触媒流路(2)内に収容されている、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記壁(5)が、触媒で更にコーティングされている、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記触媒流路(2)が、三角形又は矩形の断面を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記吸気口流路(3)及び排出口流路(4)がそれぞれ六角形の断面を有し、前記触媒流路(2)が三角形の断面を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。
- 前記吸気口流路(3)、排出口流路(4)、及び触媒流路(2)が、それぞれ矩形断面を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタ。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のウォールフロー型フィルタの製造方法であって、
(a)交互の端部で閉じている並列排気ガス吸気口流路(3)及び排気ガス排出口流路(4)を有するウォールフロー型フィルタを準備するステップであって、前記フィルタが、一方の端部で閉じている更なる触媒流路(2)を有する、ステップと、
(b)前記触媒を準備するステップと、
(c)前記触媒を前記触媒流路(2)内に導入するステップと、
(d)前記触媒流路(2)を後端部で閉じるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - エンジンからの排気ガス、特にディーゼルエンジンからの排気ガスを浄化するための、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のウォールフロー型フィルタの、使用。
