Claims (10)
- 接触部と、屈曲部と、半田付け部と、を備え、前記屈曲部の両端は前記接触部及び前記半田付け部にそれぞれ連結された端子本体と、
前記端子本体に設けられ、前記屈曲部における第1めっき層の厚さが0.3〜1.75μmの範囲で、残りの部分の厚さが2〜10μmの範囲である第1めっき層と、
前記第1めっき層の一部分に設けられ、前記接触部に対応し、厚さが0.5〜2μmの範囲である第2めっき層と、
前記第1めっき層の他の部分に設けられ、前記半田付け部に対応し、厚さが0.01〜0.1μmの範囲である第3めっき層と、
を含む、金属端子。 - 前記屈曲部における前記第1めっき層の厚さは、0.5〜1.25μmの範囲で、残りの部分の厚さが2〜6μmの範囲である、請求項1に記載の金属端子。
- 前記第2めっき層の厚さは、0.75〜1.5μmの範囲で、前記第3めっき層の厚さが0.025〜0.075μmの範囲である、請求項1に記載の金属端子。
- 前記第1めっき層は、ニッケルめっき層又はニッケルタングステン合金めっき層である、請求項1に記載の金属端子。
- 前記第2めっき層及び前記第3めっき層は、金めっき層又は銀めっき層である、請求項4に記載の金属端子。
- 接触部と、屈曲部と、半田付け部と、を備え、前記屈曲部の両端が前記接触部及び前記半田付け部にそれぞれ連結された端子本体を用意する端子用意工程と、
前記端子本体の表面の油汚れを除去するための脱脂工程と、
前記端子本体の表面の酸化物を除去するための酸洗工程と、
前記端子本体を第1めっき槽にセットし、遮蔽治具を前記屈曲部の近傍に設けて電気めっきを施して第1めっき層を前記端子本体に形成し、前記屈曲部における前記第1めっき層の厚さが0.3〜1.75μmの範囲で、残りの部分の厚さが2〜10μmの範囲である第1電気めっき工程と、
前記端子本体の前記接触部を第2めっき槽にセットして電気めっきを施して前記第1めっき層の一部分に第2めっき層を形成し、前記第2めっき層の厚さが0.5〜2μmの範囲である第2電気めっき工程と、
前記端子本体の前記半田付け部を前記第2めっき槽にセットして電気めっきを施し、前記第1めっき層の他の部分に第3めっき層を形成し、前記第3めっき層が前記半田付け部に対応し、前記第3めっき層の厚さが0.01〜0.1μmの範囲である第3電気めっき工程と、
前記第1電気めっき工程、前記第2電気めっき工程及び前記第3電気めっき工程を終えた前記端子本体の表面に封孔処理剤を塗布する封孔処理工程と、
を含む、金属端子の製造方法。 - 前記屈曲部における前記第1めっき層の厚さは、0.5〜1.25μmの範囲で、残りの部分の厚さが2〜6μmの範囲である、請求項6に記載の製造方法。
- 前記第2めっき層の厚さは、0.75〜1.5μmの範囲で、前記第3めっき層の厚さが0.025〜0.075μmの範囲である、請求項6に記載の製造方法。
- 前記第1めっき層は、ニッケルめっき層又はニッケルタングステン合金めっき層である、請求項6に記載の製造方法。
- 前記第2めっき層及び前記第3めっき層は、金めっき層又は銀めっき層である、請求項9に記載の製造方法。
