Claims (4)
- エンジン本体と、
高さ方向を第1方向としたとき、前記第1方向と垂直な方向である第2方向に延びるクランク軸と、
前記第2方向における前記エンジン本体の一方側に配置された冷却ファンと、
排気マニホールドと、
前記排気マニホールドからの排気ガスにより駆動される過給機と、
前記排気マニホールドからの排気ガスを浄化する排気ガス浄化装置と、
前記過給機と前記排気ガス浄化装置とを接続する接続管と、
を備え、
前記排気ガス浄化装置は、長手方向が前記第2方向と平行となる姿勢で配置され、
前記接続管は、前記排気ガス浄化装置の前記第2方向における前記冷却ファン側と連結しており、
前記接続管は、前記排気マニホールドの側方であって、前記過給機の下方を通過するように配置されていることを特徴とするエンジン。 - 請求項1に記載のエンジンであって、
前記接続管は、前記第2方向と平行に延びる直線部を有し、
前記排気マニホールド及び前記過給機は、前記直線部の下端より上側に配置されていることを特徴とするエンジン。 - 請求項2に記載のエンジンであって、
前記第1方向及び前記第2方向の何れとも垂直な方向を第3方向としたとき、前記過給機は、前記第3方向における前記エンジン本体の一方側に配置され、
前記第3方向に沿う向きで見たとき、前記直線部は、少なくとも一部が前記排気マニホールドと重なるように、かつ、前記過給機と上下に隣接して配置されるとともに、
前記第2方向に沿う向きで見たとき、前記直線部は、前記排気マニホールドと前記第3方向で互いに隣接して配置されていることを特徴とするエンジン。 - 請求項1から3までの何れか一項に記載のエンジンであって、
前記第1方向及び前記第2方向の何れにも垂直な方向を第3方向としたとき、前記過給機は、前記第3方向における前記エンジン本体の一方側に配置され、
前記接続管は、前記過給機の、前記第3方向における前記エンジン本体から遠い側の端部よりも、前記第3方向において前記エンジン本体に近い側に配置されていることを特徴とするエンジン。
