Description
Claims (11)
- 液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクを備えた船舶において、
前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスを冷媒として、圧縮された蒸発ガス(以下、「第1流体」という。)を熱交換させて冷却する熱交換器;
前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスの一部を圧縮する主圧縮部;
前記主圧縮部と並列に設置され、前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスの他の一部を圧縮する予備圧縮部;及び
前記熱交換器で前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスと熱交換して冷却された前記第1流体を膨張させる減圧装置;を備え、
前記第1流体は、前記主圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスとが合流した流れ;または、前記主圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガス;であることを特徴とする、船舶。 - 前記熱交換器及び前記減圧装置を通過して一部が再液化された液化ガスと、気体状態で残っている蒸発ガスとを分離する気液分離器をさらに備えて、
前記気液分離器で分離された液化ガスは前記貯蔵タンクに送られ、
前記気液分離器で分離された蒸発ガスは前記熱交換器に送られることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の船舶。 - 前記主圧縮部及び前記予備圧縮部は複数の圧縮機を備えて、
前記主圧縮部に備えられた全ての圧縮機を通過した蒸発ガス;及び、前記予備圧縮部に備えられた全ての圧縮機を通過した蒸発ガス;は高圧エンジンに送られ、
前記主圧縮部に備えられた圧縮機の一部の圧縮機のみを通過した蒸発ガス;及び、前記予備圧縮部に備えられた圧縮機の一部の圧縮機のみを通過した蒸発ガス;は低圧エンジンに送られることを特徴とする、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の船舶。 - 前記主圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスの一部;及び、前記予備圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスの一部;は、ガス燃焼装置に送られて焼却されることを特徴とする、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の船舶。
- 前記主圧縮部及び前記予備圧縮部の下流にそれぞれ設置され、前記主圧縮部又は前記予備圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスからオイルを分離するオイル分離器をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の船舶。
- 前記熱交換器の上流に設置され、オイルが所定濃度以下になるように濾過するオイルフィルタをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の船舶。
- システム駆動の初期には、貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスを直ちに2つの流れに分岐させて、一方の流れを主圧縮部に送り、他方の流れを予備圧縮部に送り、
システム駆動後、前記主圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスとが合流して熱交換器に供給され始めたら、前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスを前記熱交換器に送り、
前記貯蔵タンクから排出された後に前記熱交換器を通過した蒸発ガスを2つの流れに分岐させて、一方の流れを前記主圧縮部に送り、他方の流れを前記予備圧縮部に送り、
前記主圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮部で圧縮された蒸発ガスとを合流させて、一部をエンジンに送り、他の一部を前記熱交換器に送り、
前記熱交換器で、前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスと熱交換して冷却された流体は減圧装置によって膨張されて再液化され、
再液化された流体は気液分離器によって気体成分と液体成分とに分離されて、液体成分は前記貯蔵タンクに戻され、気体成分として残っている蒸発ガスは前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスと合流して前記熱交換器に送られる、方法。 - 船舶が停泊状態であるか、生産地で液化ガスを船積みして運搬する間には、前記予備圧縮部を稼働させ、
前記船舶が運航状態であるか、液化ガスを需要先で荷揚げした後には、平常時は前記予備圧縮部を稼働させず、前記主圧縮部が故障したときに前記予備圧縮部を稼動させることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。 - 運航を開始した直後または入港する直前で、蒸発ガスの迅速な処理が必要であるときに、前記主圧縮部及び前記予備圧縮部を稼動させることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記気液分離器が故障したときに、前記熱交換器及び前記減圧装置を通過した流体を、前記気液分離器を迂回させて、直接前記貯蔵タンクに送ることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 1)貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスの一部を主圧縮部で圧縮し、
2)前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスの他の一部を予備圧縮部で圧縮し、
3)前記1)のステップで圧縮された蒸発ガスと、前記2)のステップで圧縮された蒸発ガスとを合流させ、
4)前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスを冷媒として使用し、前記3)のステップで合流させた蒸発ガスを熱交換器で熱交換させて冷却し、
5)前記4)のステップで冷却された流体を減圧させる、方法。
