Abstract
Description
この構成によれば、突出部と窪み部とを利用して、特に、同軸ケーブルの芯線付近を外部導体シェルによって覆う領域を増やした同軸ケーブルコネクタが提供される。
同様に、外部導体圧着部83は、対の外部導体圧着片83A、83Bを同様に回動させたときに相手外部導体圧着片と突き合わされる突合せ面86A、86Bを含む。
更に言えば、囲み片80A、80Bと外部導体圧着片83A、83Bが互いに隣接する側であって、且つ、接続部24を挟んで対向する一方の側「A」において、囲み片80Aの突合せ面81Aには、凸部93Aが設けられ、一方、外部導体圧着片83Aの突合せ面86Aには、凹部92Aが設けられている。
また、当該隣接する側であって、且つ、接続部24を挟んで対向する他方の側「B」において、囲み片80Bの突合せ面81Bには、凹部94Bが設けられ、外部導体圧着片83Aの突合せ面86Bには、凸部91Bが設けられている。

Claims (6)
- 端子と、
前記端子を支持するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの外部を覆う外部導体シェルと、
を備え、
前記端子は、前記ハウジングから露出した接続部を有しており、
前記外部導体シェルは、前記接続部に接続された同軸ケーブルに向かって変形可能に設けられた第1のかしめ部と第2のかしめ部を、前記接続部に接続された前記同軸ケーブルの一端側から他端側に向かって前記同軸ケーブルの軸線方向に沿ってこれらの順に互いに離間された状態で有しており、
前記第1のかしめ部は、前記軸線方向において前記接続部の対応位置に位置付けられ、前記軸線方向において前記第2のかしめ部に接近する側に突出した突出部を有し、
前記第2のかしめ部は、前記突出部に対応して、前記軸線方向において前記第1のかしめ部から遠ざかる側に窪んだ窪み部を有することを特徴とする同軸ケーブルコネクタ。 - 前記第1のかしめ部と前記第2のかしめ部はそれぞれ、前記接続部に接続された同軸ケーブルに向かって変形可能に設けられた対のかしめ片から成り、
前記対のかしめ片を形成しているかしめ片はそれぞれ、前記接続部を挟んで対向する各側に、前記接続部に接続された同軸ケーブルに向かって変形されたときに相手かしめ片と突き合わされる突合せ面を有し、
前記対のかしめ片の少なくともいずれか一方の突合せ面に、前記接続部に接続された同軸ケーブルに向かって前記対のかしめ片を変形させたときに相手かしめ片の突合せ面に設けた凹部と噛み合う凸部が設けられている、請求項1に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。 - 前記接続部を挟んで対向する一方の側であって、且つ、前記第1のかしめ部と前記第2のかしめ部が互いに隣接する側において、前記第1のかしめ部の一方のかしめ片の突合せ面には前記凸部が設けられ、前記第2のかしめ部の一方のかしめ片の突合せ面には前記凹部が設けられ、
前記接続部を挟んで対向する他方の側であって、且つ、前記第1のかしめ部と前記第2のかしめ部が互いに隣接する側において、前記第1のかしめ部の他方のかしめ片の突合せ面には前記凹部が設けられ、前記第2のかしめ部の他方のかしめ片の突合せ面には前記凸部が設けられている、請求項2に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。 - 前記対のかしめ片を構成するかしめ片をそれぞれ、前記接続部に接続された同軸ケーブルに向かって変形したときに、前記凸部と前記凹部が、前記接続部の対応位置にて、前記同軸ケーブルの軸線の周方向に互いに噛み合わされる、請求項2又は3に記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記対のかしめ片を構成するかしめ片をそれぞれ、前記接続部に接続された同軸ケーブルに向かって変形したときに、前記接続部を挟んで対向する一方の側と他方の側とを結ぶ幅方向における前記第1のかしめ部の長さが、前記幅方向における前記第2のかしめ部の長さより大きく、前記第1のかしめ部と前記第2のかしめ部との間に、前記軸線方向において段部が形成されている、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
- 前記外部導体シェルの第1のかしめ部と第2のかしめ部は、一枚の金属板から形成されている、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の同軸ケーブルコネクタ。
