Claims (13)
- センシングラインを介して入力されるピクセル電流をデジタルセンシング値に変換する複数のセンシングユニットを含む電流センシング装置において、
前記センシングユニットのそれぞれは、
反転入力端子と非反転入力端子と出力端子を有する積分器アンプと、前記反転入力端子と前記出力端子との間に接続されたフィードバックキャパシタとを含み、前記非反転入力端子に第1基準電圧を入力する電流積分器と、
前記センシングラインと前記電流積分器との間に接続され、前記センシングラインと前記電流積分器の電気的接続を分離する電流伝達部とを備え、
前記電流伝達部は、前記ピクセル電流をミラーリングし、前記ミラーリングされた電流を前記積分器アンプの前記反転入力端子から出力する電流センシング装置。 - 前記電流伝達部は、
前記ピクセル電流を印加する共有ノードにゲート電極と第1電極が接続され、基底電圧源に第2電極が接続された第1ミラートランジスタと、
前記共有ノードにゲート電極が接続され、前記電流積分器の前記反転入力端子に第1電極が接続され、前記基底電圧源に第2電極が接続された第2ミラートランジスタとを含む、請求項1に記載の電流センシング装置。 - 前記ミラーリングされた電流は、前記ピクセル電流より大きく、前記第2ミラートランジスタのチャネル容量は、前記第1ミラートランジスタのチャネル容量より大きい、請求項2に記載の電流センシング装置。
- 前記センシングユニットのそれぞれは、
前記センシングラインと前記電流伝達部との間に接続された電流バッファをさらに含み、前記電流バッファは、前記ピクセル電流が流れるピクセルに第2基準電圧を印加して、前記ピクセルのソースノードの電圧を一定に固定する、請求項1に記載の電流センシング装置。 - 前記電流バッファは、
前記センシングラインに接続されたバッファ用反転入力端子と、第2基準電圧が入力されるバッファ用非反転入力端子と、バッファ用出力端子を有するバッファアンプと、
前記バッファ用出力端子にゲート電極が接続され、前記センシングラインに第1電極が接続され、前記電流伝達部に第2電極が接続されたバッファトランジスタとを有する、請求項4に記載の電流センシング装置。 - 前記電流バッファは、
前記バッファ用反転入力端子と前記バッファ用出力端子の間に接続されたバッファ用リセットスイッチをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の電流センシング装置。 - 前記第2基準電圧が前記第1基準電圧と同じに設定される、請求項4に記載の電流センシング装置。
- 前記積分器アンプの前記出力端子に印加する出力電圧は、前記第1基準電圧に基づいて増加する方向に変化する、請求項1に記載の電流センシング装置。
- 複数のピクセルと、前記ピクセルに接続された複数のセンシングラインを備える表示パネルと、
請求項1〜第8項のいずれか一項の電流センシング装置を含み、センシングチャネルを介して各センシングラインのそれぞれに接続されたデータ駆動回路と、
前記センシングユニットから入力されたデジタルセンシング値に基づいて、前記表示パネルに書き込まれるデジタル映像データを補償するタイミングコントローラを含む有機発光表示装置。 - 複数のデータライン、センシングライン、および複数のゲートラインは、前記表示パネル上で互いに交差し、
前記ピクセルは、ピクセルアレイを構成するためにマトリックス形態に配列され、
前記ピクセルのそれぞれは、前記データラインのうちの1つ、
前記センシングラインの内の1つ、前記ゲートラインのうちの1つに接続する、請求項9に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - ゲート制御信号に基づいて映像表示動作及び外部補償動作に適したスキャン制御信号とセンシング制御信号とを生成し、前記スキャン制御信号と前記センシング制御信号を同じゲートライン又は他のゲートラインに供給するゲート駆動回路をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の有機発光表示装置。
- 前記タイミングコントローラは、前記データ駆動回路の動作タイミングを制御するためのデータ制御信号と、前記ゲート駆動回路の動作タイミングを制御するための前記ゲート制御信号を生成し、
前記タイミングコントローラは、映像表示が行われている第1期間と、外部補償が実行される第2期間を時間的に分離し、前記映像表示の動作に対する制御信号及び前記外部補償の動作に対する制御信号を生成する、請求項11に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記ピクセルのそれぞれは、OLEDと駆動TFTを含み、
前記タイミングコントローラは、前記データ駆動回路から前記デジタルセンシング値を受信し、前記OLED又は駆動TFTに対する前記ピクセル間の劣化偏差を補償するために、前記デジタルセンシング値に基づいて入力映像データを補正し、前記映像表示動作が実行される期間中に補正されたデジタル映像データを前記データ駆動回路に伝送する、請求項12に記載の有機発光表示装置。
