Claims (10)
- アノードと;
カソードと;
前記アノードと前記カソードとの間に配置された発光層と;
前記発光層(emissive)と前記カソードとの間に配置された正孔ブロッキング層と、
を有する有機発光ダイオード(OLED)であって、
前記発光層が、リン光ドーパントを含み、
前記リン光ドーパントが、PMMA(ポリ(メチルメタクリラート))に0.5%ドープした薄膜において室温で600nm以上であるピーク最大波長を有する発光を有し、
前記リン光ドーパントの最高被占分子軌道(HOMO)のエネルギーが、−5.1eV以下であり、
前記正孔ブロッキング層のHOMOのエネルギーが、前記リン光ドーパントのHOMOのエネルギーよりも少なくとも0.1eV低いことを特徴とする有機発光ダイオード(OLED)。 - 前記リン光ドーパントのピーク最大波長が、610nm以上、620nm以上、630nm以上、650nm以上、700nm以上、750nm以上、及び800nm以上からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のOLED。
- 前記リン光ドーパントのHOMOのエネルギーが、−5.2eV以下、−5.3eV以下、及び−5.4eV以下からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のOLED。
- 前記正孔ブロッキング層のHOMOのエネルギーが、前記リン光ドーパントのHOMOのエネルギーよりも少なくとも0.2eV低い、前記リン光ドーパントのHOMOのエネルギーよりも少なくとも0.3eV低い、及び前記リン光ドーパントのHOMOのエネルギーよりも少なくとも0.4eV低い、からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のOLED。
- 前記正孔ブロッキング層が、式Iの化合物を含む下記からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つである請求項1に記載のOLED。
R1及びR2は、それぞれ独立して、水素である、又は重水素、ハロゲン、アルキル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロアルキル、ヘテロシクロアルキル、アリールアルキル、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アミノ、シリル、アルケニル、シクロアルケニル、ヘテロアルケニル、アルキニル、アリール、ヘテロアリール、アシル、カルボン酸、エーテル、エステル、ニトリル、イソニトリル、スルファニル、スルフィニル、スルホニル、ホスフィノ、及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される置換基であり、
Yは、O、S、Se、NAr4、CAr4Ar5、SiAr4Ar5、フルオレン(C−Ar1Ar2)、及びケイ素(Si−Ar1Ar2)からなる群から選択され、Ar1及びAr2は、同じ又は異なるアリール基であり、

- 前記金属配位錯体が、M(L1)x(L2)y(L3)zの式を有し、
L1、L2、及びL3は、同じでも異なっていることもでき、
xは、1、2、又は3であり、
yは、0、1、又は2であり、
zは、0、1、又は2であり、
x+y+zは、前記金属Mの酸化状態であり、
L1、L2、及びL3は、それぞれ独立して、下記からなる群から選択され、
(式中、Y1〜Y13は、それぞれ独立して、炭素及び窒素からなる群から選択され、
Y’は、BRe、NRe、PRe、O、S、Se、C=O、S=O、SO2、CReRf、SiReRf、及びGeReRfからなる群から選択され;
Re及びRfは、任意に縮合又は結合して環を形成し、Ra、Rb、Rc、及びRdは、それぞれ独立して、モノ置換から置換の最大可能数を表してもよい、又は無置換を表してもよく、
Ra、Rb、Rc、Rd、Re、及びRfは、それぞれ独立して、水素、重水素、ハロゲン、アルキル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロアルキル、ヘテロシクロアルキル、アリールアルキル、アルコキシ、アリールオキシ、アミノ、シリル、アルケニル、シクロアルケニル、ヘテロアルケニル、アルキニル、アリール、ヘテロアリール、アシル、カルボン酸、エーテル、エステル、ニトリル、イソニトリル、スルファニル、スルフィニル、スルホニル、ホスフィノ、及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択され、

Ar5及びAr6は、それぞれ独立して、アリール、ヘテロアリール、及びこれらの組合せからなる群から選択される。) - 有機発光ダイオード(OLED)を含む消費者製品であって、前記有機発光ダイオード(OLED)が、

カソードと;
前記アノードと前記カソードとの間に配置された発光層と;
前記発光層と前記カソードとの間に配置された正孔ブロッキング層と、
を有し、
前記発光層が、リン光ドーパントを含み、
