Description
Claims (26)
- (i)安定化部材であって、
おもて側と、
前記おもて側の反対側の裏側と、
受け部であって、第1の溝端部と第2の溝端部とを有する前記おもて側に、少なくとも1つの細長い溝を備え、前記溝は、前記裏側を通る少なくとも1つの開口部を備え、前記溝は、前記安定化部材の長手方向軸に沿って整列され、前記溝の周囲は連続的に前記おもて側に囲まれている受け部と、
前記おもて側及び前記裏側を通って延びる複数の締結具穴であって、少なくとも第1の締結具穴は、前記第1の溝端部に近接して配置され、少なくとも第2の締結具穴は、前記第2の溝端部に近接して配置される締結具穴と、
を備える前記安定化部材と、
(ii)動的要素であって、
第1の端部と第2の端部との間に延び、前記受け部の細長い前記溝内に着座するように構成される本体と、
前記第1の端部に結合され、前記本体から第1の自由端まで延び、前記本体が前記受け部の細長い前記溝内に着座すると、前記受け部の少なくとも1つの開口部を通って延びるように構成される第1の脚部と、
前記第2の端部に結合され、前記本体から第2の自由端まで延び、前記本体が前記受け部の細長い前記溝内に着座すると、前記受け部の少なくとも1つの開口部を通って延びるように構成される第2の脚部と、を備え、
前記動的要素が弾性変形された状態にあるとき、前記第1の自由端は前記第2の自由端から第1の距離だけ離れ、
前記動的要素が弛緩状態にあるとき、前記第1の自由端は第2の距離だけ前記第2の自由端から離れ、
前記第1の距離は、前記第2の距離よりも大きいので、前記本体が前記受け部の細長い前記溝内に着座し、前記動的要素が弾性変形された状態にあるとき、前記動的要素は前記第1の自由端と前記第2の自由端との間に圧縮力を提供する前記動的要素と、
(iii)複数の締結具であって、
前記安定化部材の1つ以上の前記締結具穴内に配置され、前記安定化部材を通って延びるように構成される前記締結具と、
を備え、
前記動的要素の前記本体が前記溝内に着座した状態を維持するとともに、前記締結具が前記締結具穴内に配置されることにより、前記安定化部材を骨に固定し、前記圧縮力を連続的に骨に荷重する骨固定システム。 - 前記安定化部材は、骨プレートである請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記動的要素は、骨ステープルである請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記受け部は、前記おもて側及び前記裏側を貫通する第1の受け部穴と、前記おもて側及び前記裏側を貫通する第2の受け部穴と、を備え、前記第1の脚部は、前記第1の受け部穴を通って延びるように構成され、前記第2の脚部は、前記第2の受け部穴を通って延びるように構成されている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記受け部は、前記溝内に配置されたウェブを備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記締結具は、骨ねじである請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記締結具は、前記締結具穴内で自由に回転及び平行移動する請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記締結具は、前記締結具穴に対して多軸方向で位置決め可能である請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記受け部は、前記本体が前記裏側へと通過することを妨げるように構成される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記溝は、前記第1の受け部穴と交差し、前記第2の受け部穴に向かって延びる請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記溝は、前記第1の受け部穴及び前記第2の受け部穴と交差する請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の締結具穴は、前記第1の溝端部を越えて前記長手方向軸に沿って配置される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の締結具穴は、前記第2の溝端部を越えて前記長手方向軸に沿って配置される請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の締結具穴は、前記長手方向軸に対して横方向に配置される請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の締結具穴は、前記長手方向軸に対して横方向に配置される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の締結具穴は、前記長手方向軸に対して横方向に配置される請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2の締結具穴は、前記第1の締結具穴よりも、前記長手方向軸の反対側の横方向に配置される請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の溝端部は円周を備え、前記第2の溝端部は円周を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記溝は、前記第1の溝端部と前記第2の溝端部との間に直線縁部を備える請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記直線縁部の長手方向と直交する幅は、円形の前記第1の溝端部及び前記第2の溝端部の直径よりも小さい請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記動的要素の前記本体は、前記直線縁部の間に着座するように構成されている請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の溝端部及び前記第2の溝端部は、前記おもて側及び前記裏側を貫通する開口部を備え、前記動的要素の前記第1の脚部及び前記第2の脚部は、前記本体が前記溝内に着座すると、前記第1の溝端部及び前記第2の溝端部の前記開口部をそれぞれ通って延びるように構成される請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記動的要素は、前記第1の端部から延びる第1の突起と、前記第2の端部から延びる第2の突起と、を備え、前記突起は、インサータと係合し、前記動的要素を弾性変形された状態に容易にするように構成される請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記溝は、前記裏側を通るとともに、前記溝全体と同一の広がりをもつ開口部を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記溝は、前記溝の両側の間にウェブを備え、前記溝は、前記裏側を通るとともに、前記ウェブの位置以外の前記溝の全ての部分と同一の広がりをもつ開口部を備える請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記本体が前記受け部の細長い前記溝内に着座するときには、前記第1の脚部及び前記第2の脚部は、前記安定化部材に接触しない請求項1に記載のシステム。
