Abstract
Description
本願は、2016年10月27日に出願され“Medical Fluid Therapy Machine Including Pneumatic Pump Box and Accumulators Therefore”と題された米国特許第15/336,266号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、その全内容は、参照により本明細書中に援用される。
本明細書に説明される実施例は、血液、透析流体、代替液、および/または静脈内薬物(「IV」)等の医療流体を送達する、任意の医療流体送達システムに適用可能である。実施例は、特に、本明細書では、集合的に、または実質的に個別に腎不全治療と称される、全ての形態の血液透析(「HD」)、血液濾過(「HF」)、血液透析濾過(「HDF」)、持続的腎置換治療(「CRRT」)、および腹膜透析(「PD」)等の腎臓不全治療のために非常に好適である。さらに、本明細書に説明される機械および空気圧圧送システムおよび方法のうちのいずれかは、臨床または在宅設定において使用されてもよい。例えば、空気圧圧送構造を含む機械は、1日全体を通して事実上連続的に起動する、センター内HD機械において採用されてもよい。代替として、空気圧圧送構造は、例えば、患者が眠っている間の夜に起動され得る、在宅HD機械において使用されてもよい。さらに、本明細書に説明される腎不全治療実施例はそれぞれ、例えば、HDまたはHDFのための透析器または、例えば、HFのための血液濾過器等の拡散膜または濾過器を採用してもよい。

Claims (31)
- 医療流体送達機械であって、
空気圧で作動されるポンプチャンバと、第1の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバおよび第2の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバとを含む医療流体ポンプであって、前記第1の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバおよび前記第2の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバは、それぞれ、前記空気圧で作動されるポンプチャンバの上流および下流に位置する、医療流体ポンプと、
正圧空気を生成するためのコンプレッサと、
前記空気圧で作動されるポンプチャンバ、前記第1の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバ、または前記第2の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバのうちの少なくとも1つへの送達のための前記正圧空気を貯蔵する、アキュムレータであって、前記アキュムレータは、前記コンプレッサからの正圧空気下で膨張する弾性ブラダを保持し、前記アキュムレータが提供し得る前記正圧空気の量を増加させる付加的正圧を生成する、アキュムレータと
を備える、医療流体送達機械。 - 前記アキュムレータは、前記弾性ブラダを保持する外側剛性筐体を含み、前記ブラダは、前記外側剛性筐体とシールされた関係において保持される、請求項1に記載の医療流体送達機械。
- 前記外側剛性筐体は、通気される、請求項2に記載の医療流体送達機械。
- 前記ブラダと前記外側剛性筐体との間に前記シールされた関係を形成するコネクタを含む、請求項2に記載の医療流体送達機械。
- 前記コネクタは、前記ブラダの開放端をシールするように構成されるシール端と、前記アキュムレータから延在する空気圧管をシールするように構成される管接続端とを含む、請求項4に記載の医療流体送達機械。
- 前記外側剛性筐体は、前記弾性ブラダが、膨張されると、前記外側剛性筐体の内側形状に少なくとも実質的に完全に共形化することを可能にするように輪郭付けられる、請求項2に記載の医療流体送達機械。
- 前記ブラダは、最初に、薄い管形状を有し、前記外側剛性筐体の内側形状に少なくとも実質的に完全に共形化するように膨張する、請求項2に記載の医療流体送達機械。
- 前記アキュムレータと前記空気圧で作動されるポンプチャンバ、前記第1の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバ、または前記第2の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバのうちの少なくとも1つとの間に位置する空気圧調整器を含み、前記空気圧調整器は、前記正圧空気に関する所望の出力圧力を設定し、前記ブラダは、前記付加的量の正圧空気が前記空気圧調整器に提供されることを可能にする、請求項1に記載の医療流体送達機械。

負圧を生成するための真空ポンプと、
前記空気圧で作動されるポンプチャンバ、前記第1の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバ、または前記第2の空気圧で作動される医療流体弁チャンバのうちの少なくとも1つとの動作のための前記負圧を貯蔵する、アキュムレータであって、前記アキュムレータは、弾性ブラダの外側に印加される前記真空ポンプからの負圧下で膨張する前記弾性ブラダを保持し、前記アキュムレータが提供し得る前記負圧の量を増加させる付加的負圧を生成する、アキュムレータと
を備える、医療流体送達機械。 - 前記アキュムレータは、前記弾性ブラダを保持する外側剛性筐体を含み、前記ブラダは、前記外側剛性筐体とシールされた関係において保持される、請求項11に記載の医療流体送達機械。
