Description

(b)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第二の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第二の表皮層Cであり、外面、内面、及び第二の厚さを有する該第二の表皮層、ならびに
任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第三の熱可塑性樹脂の層である内層Bであり、第一の表皮層Aの内面及び第二の表皮層Cの内面の間に配置され、第三の厚さを有する該内層B、
ここで、該多層中間膜は、厚い方の第一の端及び薄い方の第二の端を有する楔形であり、
以下を特徴とする。すなわち、
該第三の厚さ及び該合計厚さの各々は、該一体型多層シートの長さ及び幅にわたってそれぞれ実質的に一貫している。
該厚い方の第一の端は、約1850μm以下の厚さを有し、該薄い方の第二の端は、約600μm以上の厚さを有し、ならびに、
該一体型多層シートは、該薄い方の第二の端で厚さの主な部分を形成する。
(1)長さ、幅、及び合計厚さを有し、以下を含む一体型多層シート、すなわち、
(a)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第一の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第一の表皮層Aであり、外面、内面、及び第一の厚さを有する該第一の表皮層、
(b)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第二の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第二の表皮層Cであり、外面、内面、及び第二の厚さを有する該第二の表皮層、ならびに
(c)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第三の熱可塑性樹脂の層である内層Bであり、第一の表皮層Aの内面及び第二の表皮層Cの内面の間に配置され、第三の厚さを有する該内層B、
ここで、該第三の厚さ及び該合計厚さの各々は、該一体型多層シートの長さ及び幅にわたってそれぞれ実質的に一貫しているもの、ならびに
(2)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第四の熱可塑性樹脂の楔形フィルムであり、該楔形フィルムは、外面及び内面を有し、該楔形フィルムの内面は、第一の表皮層Aの外面に直接または間接的に接着されており、
ここで、該多層中間膜は、厚い方の第一の端及び薄い方の第二の端を有する楔形であり、該厚い方の第一の端は、約1850μm以下の厚さを有し、該薄い方の第二の端は、約600μm以上の厚さを有し、該一体型多層シートは、該薄い方の第二の端で厚さの主な部分を形成する。
(1)長さ、幅、及び合計厚さを有し、以下を含む一体型多層シートを提供するステップ、すなわち、
(a)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第一の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第一の表皮層Aであり、外面、内面、及び第一の厚さを有する該第一の表皮層、
(b)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第二の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第二の表皮層Cであり、外面、内面、及び第二の厚さを有する該第二の表皮層、ならびに
(c)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第三の熱可塑性樹脂の層である内層Bであり、第一の表皮層Aの内面及び第二の表皮層Cの内面の間に配置され、第三の厚さを有する該内層B、
ここで、該第三の厚さ及び該合計厚さの各々は、該一体型多層シートの長さ及び幅にわたってそれぞれ実質的に一貫しているもの、
(2)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第四の熱可塑性樹脂の楔形フィルムであり、外面及び内面を有する該楔形フィルムを提供するステップ、ならびに
(3)該楔形フィルムの内面を、第一の表皮層Aの外面に直接または間接的に接着するステップ。
本発明は、実質的に一貫した厚さの内層を有し、全体的な製造欠陥がより少なく、製造が非常に容易で無駄が少ない楔形多層中間膜を提供する。
(1)長さ、幅、及び合計厚さを有し、以下を含む一体型多層シート、すなわち、
(a)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第一の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第一の表皮層Aであり、外面、内面、及び第一の厚さを有する該第一の表皮層、
(b)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第二の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第二の表皮層Cであり、外面、内面、及び第二の厚さを有する該第二の表皮層、ならびに
(c)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第三の熱可塑性樹脂の層である内層Bであり、第一の表皮層Aの内面及び第二の表皮層Cの内面の間に配置され、第三の厚さを有する該内層B、
ここで、該第三の厚さ及び該合計厚さの各々は、該一体型多層シートの長さ及び幅にわたってそれぞれ実質的に一貫しているもの、ならびに
(2)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第四の熱可塑性樹脂の楔形フィルムであり、該楔形フィルムは、外面及び内面を有し、該楔形フィルムの内面は、第一の表皮層Aの外面に直接または間接的に接着されており、
ここで、該多層中間膜は、厚い方の第一の端及び薄い方の第二の端を有する楔形であり、該厚い方の第一の端は、約1850μm以下の厚さを有し、該薄い方の第二の端は、約600μm以上の厚さを有し、該一体型多層シートは、該薄い方の第二の端で厚さの主な部分を形成する。
前述の通り、本発明の多層中間膜は、楔形であり、実質的に一貫した厚さの多層シート(図2の10等)(図2の11等)と楔形フィルム(図3の32または図4の32a等)の組み合わせを含む。換言すれば、本発明の中間膜の楔形は、楔形フィルムに由来する。
表皮層A及びCは、同じ熱可塑性樹脂でも異なる熱可塑性樹脂でもよい。1つの実施形態において、表皮層A及びCは、同じ熱可塑性樹脂である。別の実施形態において、表皮層A及びCは、同じ熱可塑性樹脂であるが異なる組成である。さらに別の実施形態において、表皮層A及びCは、異なる熱可塑性樹脂である。
本発明の1つの実施形態において、内層Bは、「機能的な」層、すなわち、多層中間膜全体及びそれから製造される積層体に特定の機能を賦与する層である。
本発明の例示的な楔形フィルムの構成を図3及び4に示す。前述の通り、本発明との関連において、楔形構造(図3及び4に示すもの等)はフィルムである。
本発明の多層中間膜において、各層が個々に少なくとも1つの熱可塑性樹脂を含むことが好ましい。適切な熱可塑性樹脂は、当業者には周知であり、例えば、ポリビニルアセタール樹脂、アイオノマー樹脂、エチレン−酢酸ビニルコポリマー樹脂、接着性官能基含有ポリオレフィン樹脂、及び/または熱可塑性エラストマーを含む。これら熱可塑性樹脂の概要及び例は、「一体型多層シート」及び「楔形フィルム」の上記詳解において言及したすでに組み込まれた刊行物ならびにすでに組み込まれたUS20060210776A1及びUS20090294212A1を参照することによって得ることができる。
中間膜及び積層体での使用に適したポリビニルアセタール樹脂は、一般的な意味では当業者に周知であり、多数のすでに組み込まれた参考文献によって例示される。
本発明の1つの実施形態において、表皮層A、表皮層C、及び楔形フィルムのうちの1つ以上はアイオノマーであり得る。
(i)エチレン、
(ii)約10wt%から、または約15wt%から、または約18wt%から、または約20wt%から約30wt%まで、または約25wt%まで、または約23wt%まで、または約22wt%までの、3〜10個の炭素原子を有する少なくとも1つのα,β−不飽和カルボン酸、
(iii)約2wt%から、または約3wt%から、または約4wt%から、または約5wt%から約15wt%まで、または約12wt%まで、または約11wt%まで、または約10wt%までの、3〜10個の炭素原子を有する少なくとも1つのα,β−不飽和カルボン酸エステル、及び
(iv)任意に、(iii)以外のα,β−不飽和カルボン酸誘導体を、(iii)+(iv)が約15wt%以下、または約12wt%以下、または約11wt%以下になるような量で含む。
可塑剤を除いて、該多層積層体の様々な層に対する通常の添加剤としては、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、光安定剤、ブロッキング防止剤、顔料、染料、断熱性材料(赤外線吸収剤)、接着性改良剤等、またはそれらの混合物が挙げられる。
本発明の多層中間膜の製造方法は、特に限定されず、該中間膜は、層Bを構成する樹脂組成物を均一に混錬した後、層Bが既知の成膜法、例えば、押出法、カレンダー法、加圧法、注型法、及びインフレーション法で製造され、層A及びCが樹脂を用いて同じ方法で製造され、これらの層が加圧成形法等によって積層され得る方法、または、層B、ならびに層A及びC、ならびに他の必要な層が、共押出法によって成形され得る方法によって製造され得る。
本発明の積層体は、上記の特性を有する1つ以上の層Bが上記の特性を有する少なくとも2つの表皮層A及びCの間に挟まれた多層中間膜からなり、楔形フィルムが表皮層A及び外側シートの間に配置され、表皮層Cが第二の外側シートと直接または間接的に接している。かかる構成をとることにより、優れた遮音特性、曲げ強さ、剛さ及び光学特性、ならびに望ましくは太陽光の断熱特性も備えた積層体をかかる中間膜から得ることができる。
本発明の積層体は、従来既知の方法で製造することが可能である。その例としては、真空ラミネーターを用いる方法、真空バッグを用いる方法、真空リングを用いる方法、ニップロールを用いる方法等が挙げられる。さらに、仮圧着後、得られた積層体を最終的な接着のためにオートクレーブに入れる方法を用いることができる。
以下は、上記の説明に基づく本発明の具体的な実施形態の例示である。これら具体的な実施形態は、例示に過ぎず、任意に当業者に一般に知られるさらなる情報と組み合わせ、上記の説明から当業者には多くのさらなる具体的な実施形態が明らかであろう。
Claims (12)
- 多層中間膜であって、
長さ、幅、及び合計厚さを有する一体型多層シートを含み、前記一体型多層シートは、
(a)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第一の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第一の表皮層Aであり、外面、内面、及び第一の厚さを有する前記第一の表皮層、
(b)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第二の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第二の表皮層Cであり、外面、内面、及び第二の厚さを有する前記第二の表皮層、ならびに
(c)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第三の熱可塑性樹脂の層である内層Bであり、第一の表皮層Aの前記内面及び第二の表皮層Cの前記内面の間に配置され、第三の厚さを有する前記内層Bを含み、
ここで、前記多層中間膜は、厚い方の第一の端及び薄い方の第二の端を有する楔形であり、
前記第三の厚さ及び前記合計厚さの各々は、前記一体型多層シートの長さ及び幅にわたってそれぞれ実質的に一貫しており、
前記多層中間膜はさらに、任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第四の熱可塑性樹脂の楔形フィルムを含み、前記楔形フィルムは、外面及び内面を有し、前記楔形フィルムの内面は、第一の表皮層Aの外面に直接または間接的に接着されており、
前記厚い方の第一の端は、約1850μm以下の厚さを有し、前記薄い方の第二の端は、約600μm以上の厚さを有し、
前記一体型多層シートは、前記薄い方の第二の端で厚さの主な部分を形成することを特徴とする、前記多層中間膜。 - 前記一体型多層シートが、共押出しされた一体型多層シートであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の多層中間膜。
- 前記第一の熱可塑性樹脂、前記第二の熱可塑性樹脂、及び前記第四の熱可塑性樹脂が各々個々にポリビニルアセタールまたはアイオノマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2に記載の多層中間膜。
- 第一の熱可塑性樹脂及び前記第二の熱可塑性樹脂が同じ樹脂であり、前記第四の熱可塑性樹脂が異なる樹脂であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の多層中間膜。
- 前記第三の熱可塑性樹脂がポリビニルアセタールまたは熱可塑性エラストマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の多層中間膜。
- 前記第一の厚さ及び前記第二の厚さが実質的に同じであり、前記第三の厚さがそれより小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の多層中間膜。
- 内層Bが音響減衰層であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の多層中間膜。
- 共押出された一体型多層シートが前記厚い方の第一の端及び薄い方の第二の端の両方で厚さの主な部分を形成することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の多層中間膜。
- 前記厚い方の第一の端が約1600μm以下の厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の多層中間膜。
- (i)前記多層中間膜が4層を超える層を含むこと、(ii)前記一体型多層シートが、有色層を含む少なくとも4層構造であること、または(iii)(i)及び(ii)の両方であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の多層中間膜。
- 厚い方の第一の端及び前記厚い方の第一の端の反対側に薄い方の第二の端を有する楔形多層中間膜の製造方法であって、前記厚い方の第一の端は、約1850μm以下の厚さを有し、前記薄い方の第二の端は、約600μm以上の厚さを有し、前記方法は、以下のステップ、すなわち、
(1)長さ、幅、及び合計厚さを有し、
(a)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第一の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第一の表皮層Aであり、外面、内面、及び第一の厚さを有する前記第一の表皮層、
(b)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第二の熱可塑性樹脂の層である第二の表皮層Cであり、外面、内面、及び第二の厚さを有する前記第二の表皮層、ならびに
(c)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第三の熱可塑性樹脂の層である内層Bであり、第一の表皮層Aの前記内面及び第二の表皮層Cの前記内面の間に配置され、第三の厚さを有する前記内層Bを含む一体型多層シートを提供するステップであって、
前記第三の厚さ及び前記合計厚さの各々は、前記一体型多層シートの長さ及び幅にわたってそれぞれ実質的に一貫している、前記ステップ、
(2)任意に1つ以上の添加剤を含む第四の熱可塑性樹脂の楔形フィルムであり、外面及び内面を有する前記楔形フィルムを提供するステップ、ならびに
(3)前記楔形フィルムの前記内面を、第一の表皮層Aの前記外面に直接または間接的に接着するステップを含み、
前記一体型多層シートは、前記薄い方の第二の端で厚さの主な部分を形成する、前記方法。 - 第一の外側シート及び第二の外側シートを含み、それらの間に多層中間膜が挟まれている積層体であって、前記多層中間膜が請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載されたものである、前記積層体。
